Your skin tone/coloring: Very fair, warm with yellow undertones, green/gold/hazel eyes, platinum blonde

Last skincare product you changed? I’m still in search of the best eye cream for my fine lines/crow’s feet. I’m actually trying Olay’s ProRX wrinkle Repair cream for my undereys with some success

Last time you changed foundations? 7 months ago, my luggage got lost with my 3 year supply of my usual foundations (CdP Silky Cream & IT’s CC cream) that I had just bought in the US so I embarked on a search for a decent foundation I could find locally here in India. So far I really like Rimmel’s Lasting Finish, Catrice’s Nude Illusion, and Estee Lauder Double Wear Light. I wiil go back to Cdp & It’s CC cream when I visit the US next year though.

Last time you changed your hair style? 6 months ago- went from a chin length graduated bob to an undercut pixie! Kept my platinum blonde color though.

Medium warm (MAC NC30, Luminous Silk 5.75)

I am right now in the process of switching to two new skincare products: Drunk Elephant’s B Hydra and C Firma. I have been using other brands but did my research and these products look excellent. I already started mixing the last of my current vitamin c with B Hydra, and will purchase the C Firma tomorrow.

I change foundations almost daily, lol. Yesterday I used my LANCOME Teint Idole Ultra cushion and today I’m wearing Born This Way. My best color match has been with Luminous Silk, but I’m apparently incapable of wearing the same foundation even three days in a row.

Last time I changed my hair style: Never? My hair is very curly so I feel like my options are limited to short or not short. Bangs are out of the question because I need a bit of length to prevent my curls from sticking straight up in the air. I refuse to iron or straighten my hair due to refusal to damage it. And I seriously can’t be bothered with all the shenanigans I see online when I watch YouTube videos of how to style curly hair. My hair style is apply styling products to wet or damp hair, rake and shake, air dry, and then when it dry I can muss it up a bit for more volume.

Last skincare product you changed?
Added Clean it Zero as the first face wash in the evening to remove makeup. Love it. On my fourth big jar.

Last time you changed foundations?
This summer. Needed a darker one when I got some sun so I tried the Chanel Teint Ultra Tenue. I like it, and may stick with it for winter.

Last time you changed your hair style?
About 18 months ago I moved to a below the ear sleek bob. Love it. The funny thing is it’s basically my hairstyle (updated) from when I was little. Suited me then, suits me now. 🙂

~nw 15-20. Seasonally, change Paula resist bha for Cosrx bha (blackhead power essence.) Lighter to ‘heavier’ but they have ~equal bha. It’ll happen when fall really sets in. We had a false alarm here in EMass. Aug was like Vermont, and Sept, thus far, is like August. No real change in foundation. Always Paula long name TM and/or KGD, with Cover Fx drops to deepen, if needed. Tweak it. Hairstyle: idk, maybe s.t. in the 80s, and it’s the same bob I wore in first grade. Like Wwendy’s, only less thick and chic. Not advisable to play with it, as I can’t do hair. It just varies in length, and grows out well.

Last skincare product you changed?
The following combination has made a difference on my skin:
Day Time: Son & Park Beauty Water, SkinCeuticals Phloretin CF, Drunk Elephant Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil, EltaMD UV Daily Broad-Spectrum SPF 40
Night Time: SkinCeuticals LHA Solution, SkinCeuticals Blemish and Age Defense, The Ordinary. 100% Organic Cold-Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil, Creme de La Mer
Last time you changed foundations? Recently I’ve been really enjoying Revlon ColorStay Combo/Oil Foundation! It holds up so well and doesn’t set into my smile lines after 9 hours’ wear.
Last time you changed your hair style? Four or five years ago. I don’t invest time on my hair. LOL

Your skin tone/coloring: fair, cool
Last skincare product you changed? I swapped out Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant for the Tatcha Rice Powder that is very similar
Last time you changed foundations? I did get samples of MAC’s Waterweight Foundation about 2 months ago so that’s probably the last time I “changed”
Last time you changed your hair style? At least 6 or 7 years ago and people STILL come up to me (strangers, even) to ask where I get my hair cut, so I guess it’s a good hairstyle for me.

Nancy T Avatar

Your skin tone/coloring: Medium w/ olive undertones MAC NC37 or Lancôme Teint Idole 24H Foundation N360, deep brunette, blue-green eyes w/ gold flecks.

Last skincare product you changed? Added Sunday Riley UFO after a point perk at Sephora of it cleared up several cystic or just bad acne breakouts. Plus, it reduced the pore size on my inner cheek area and nose!

Last time you changed foundations? Several months ago, I made a huge jump into HE foundation with buying a bottle of Lancôme Teint Idole 24H Foundation. And I’m very pleased with how well it holds up in this harsh climate! That, plus a shade that is a great match.

Last time you changed your hair style? Well…what an experience this has been! I got my nearly waist length hair cut up to just past my shoulders. Right length, but the hair stylist OBVIOUSLY did not know how to cut very thick, yet fine textured curly hair! I will never go into a Great Clips again. It was a VERY stupid move on my part. Even I could have done a far better job than she did! (Yes, I’m a real-life beauty school dropout!)

Alice Avatar

Your skin tone/coloring: Porcelain

Last skincare product you changed? Charcoal mask. I started having a reaction to the Origins mask so I’m testing out the Yes To Tomatoes charcoal mask. I’m also still trying to find a really great night cream and I’ve gone through a handful of minis in the past few months.

Last time you changed foundations? Last week, and I’m going to have to change again because the one I settled on, even the lightest shade is too dark and too yellow.

Last time you changed your hair style? End of July. I change my hair a lot.

Genevieve Avatar

I have that problem too Alice – all the lightest shades are just too dark/yellow on my porcelain skin. That’s why I use Rimmel’s Match Perfection in light porcelain. The gel/cream foundation in that shade is pretty good too. It is alabaster pale with pink undertones.

kjh Avatar

The too yellow isn’t restricted to the pale end of the spectrum. I’m light to medium and EVERYTHING is too yellow. Try Genevieve’s suggestion. My suggestion is to try/get samples from Koh Gen Do. You can order a selection for a very nominal fee, and the sample packs have more than one application. I seem to be ~nw 20 at the darkest, and all 3 of the cooler colors are actually passable, bec the finish is so skinlike, that you simply look naturally lighter in shades that are actually too light for you. (If that makes any sense….) The KGD ‘numbering’ system is confusing, but IIRC, 00 is the lightest cool shade. If there’s an instore location near you, you probably could get a generous sample. KGD is anything but inclusive in their range, but I really like their waterbased formula.

Helene Avatar

Your skin tone/coloring: Light, neutralish skin, dark brown hair, coloured black or very dark brown as it now has quite a bit of not yet flattering greys. Greenish grey eyes.

Last skincare product you changed? I changed a lot when I discovered The Ordinary, but I did change the Hyaluron acid from The Ordinary to Hyalmide, also a Deciem brand.

Last time you changed foundations? I’ve been trying BB cremes for a short time, but before that I added Guerlaine Lingerie de Peau to my foundation stash. I sort of rotate through my foundations as I still have to find that one one.

Last time you changed your hair style? I’m guessing this is more of a question of major changes, as getting a new haircut, going from long to a bob or something like that, and then I have to say I’ve not changed for ages, I can’t even remember when. I do change between havein a pony, a braid or a low bun, though.

Winter: very fair neutral/porcelain.
Now/summer: medium neutral
Skin care: I changed from years of organic skin care creams from health stores to First Aid Ultra Repair Intense about 9 months ago.
Foundation: changed to Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Water Foundation about 4 months ago.
Hair: That’s funny — still pretty much waist length for a decade or more. I stopped curling it in any way and let its poker-straightness shine for the first time in my life, I think five years ago. Does getting a few layers this past spring count?

Shannon. N Avatar

Your skin tone/coloring: MAC NC23. Light, to Light Medium with Prominent warm/yellow undertones. Dark Warm Brown hair, and Dark Hazel eyes!

Last skincare product you changed?: It’s cooled down A LOT here, So i’v been trying out First Aid Beauty’s Hydrating Serum!! I went from my Brightening Serum, so this!! And I’m really liking it so far!!

Last time you changed foundations?: I will be changing foundations soon!!! This past summer I used L’oreal Total Cover foundation, because it’s matte and lasts a SUPER long time on my oily skin. I would squeeze out a tiny amount, and take a flat top foundation brush. And really spread it and thin it out all over my face! But it’s too matte/flat for my fall/winter taste. So I’m switching to L’oreal Pro Matte!! It’s ironically, less matte and long lasting as the Total Cover for me. So I can only wear Pro Matte In the winter. !

Last time you changed your hair style?: I’v always had roughly the same hair style, ahaha. I keep my naturally curly/ringlet hair really long (Thing hip bone length!) and parted to the left side!!! i have been told my hair is mermaid hair, with it like this. And I like that!!!

Skin tone and coloring: Very pale with cool undertones.

Last skincare item you changed: I quite using the Dr. Dennis Gross Ferulic and Retinol Eye Gel and was without it for about 6 weeks when I realized that my eye area was not looking good so I repurchased and am sorry I ever stopped.

Last foundation change: Seems like I have been changing all summer. The Cle de Peau that I used all through the winter and loved, started breaking up on me in the heat. I have tried Lancôme Teinte Idolle, YSL Touche Eclat Cushion, Laneige Radiance Cushion, Chosungah 22 Bounce Up Pact and a couple of drugstore brands. If the formula seems to work the shade selection does not include anything pale enough. If the color is good then formula is bad. Soon it will be winter and I can go back to the Cle de Peau.

Last time I changed my hairstyle: I got about 8 inches cut off just before we left on our vacation. I just couldn’t face the heat in California with my long hair. This length is actually harder to style as my long hair could be braided, pulled up into a ponytail or into a bun so will probably let it grow out a little bit.

Skin tone/coloring: Medium with neutral to yellow undertones, chocolate brown hair, blue eyes

Last skin care product changed: sunscreen. I used up my Biore watery gel and shopped my stash so I am using Avene Cleance on my face and Prevage City Smart on my neck and chest. The Prevage is a bit shiny on my face but I want to use it up.

Last time I changed foundations: just last Saturday I decided I need full coverage so I put away everything sheer and medium coverage and am using a DS of MUFE high definition. It’s fine but I will shop around when it is gone.

Last time I changed my hair style: about 6 months ago I switched the part from my left side to my right side. I guess that counts.

Last skincare product you changed? I just finished my vitamin C serum by Dr Brandt, so I’ll start a serum from Lumene tomorrow
Last time you changed foundations? I have several in rotation, the last one I introduced is Bourjois Healthy Mix, and I quite like it!
Last time you changed your hair style? When I went to France in July, I chopped about 5 inches!

Your skin tone/coloring: Light medium, yellow undertones.

Last skincare product you changed? I switched to the Korres Wild Rose face and eye serum about a month ago when I ran out of my Trilogy Nutrient Plus serum. It’s working well (but also more expensive…)

Last time you changed foundations? Oh, all the time. Just last week I got Dermacol makeup cover in 210, so I have been switching that up with my Shiseido Future Perfect and MJ Remarcable.

Last time you changed your hair style? Not sure? There’s a difference between long and short on me but since I never do anything to it style wise, it pretty much looks the same all the time…

Logan Avatar

Your skin tone/coloring: Fair, yellow/orange-toned, dirty blonde hair, hazel eyes.

Last skincare product you changed? Started using the Mario Badescu Special Cucumber Lotion toner, it’s really nice! Not too drying and my skin feels very clean after using it.

Last time you changed foundations? Well, I went back to using my Clinique Acne Solutions Foundation (alabaster) for a few weeks… My holy grail is the elf Flawless Finish Foundation (porcelain/natural), but the stores around me weren’t restocking any colors of the foundation.

Last time you changed your hair style? Uhhh well I went a year without a hair cut and finally got it cut three months ago…five inches off and it feels like most of it’s already grown back. 😛

Last skincare product you changed? I haven’t changed any of my core products, but I purchased a device… the ZIIP nano.
Last time you changed foundations? About a month ago – Milk Matte
Last time you changed your hair style? In the last couple of months..similar style (slightly longer chin length bob with fringe), different colour – gone from level 2-3 dark brown neutral hair to about a level 9 & 10, lifting again in 3 weeks. Going for a rooted pale neutral beige blonde in balayage format..so lightest on ends graduating to darker roots about level 5 to 6 dark ash blonde (my natural haircolour..so we are discovering after 30 years). Last night I threw in some colour depositing shampoo from Killer Strands and my hair has these hits of a mauvey rose gold.. for fun.

Your skin tone/coloring: Dark (Think like Kelly Rowland)
Last skincare product you changed? My makeup remover, I just started trying the Garnier lotion makeup remover and it seems pretty good so far
Last time you changed foundations? It’s been a while but I’m currently using a mix of Maybelline Fit Me and L’oreal Infallible Pro Matte
Last time you changed your hair style? 2 weeks ago, I’m currently rocking a braided bun.

Diana 63 Avatar

It’s taken a year, but I grew my hair out, and I’m so glad I did. I went from short and spikey, to a really nice chin length bob. I also swapped out most of my skin care for Paula’s Choice. I like that everything she has in sealed in tubes. No jar packaging, hence, no product loss from oxidation. Let’s face it, once you open a jar of expensive cream, you might as well toss the darn thing in the trash. It’s just been compromised.
Her reviews are great and I think my skin is needing a break from all the fragrance and other junk that is unnecessary in so many products.
I also just switched foundation from Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk (no complaints there, just used it all up) to MAC SPF30 Waterweight Foundation NW20. So! Your timing with these questions is perfect!
Will keep you posted on my results.

Monica Avatar

Your skin tone/coloring: Deep tan with golden yellow undertones (MAC C7)
Last skincare product you changed? I swapped my Cetaphil cleanser for First Aid Beauty
Last time you changed foundations? In July I bought Becca Aqua Luminous and I’ve really been loving. And a couple of weeks ago I had the brilliant idea (if I say so myself) to mix the becca with mac face+body. Love the combo, I get the luminosity from the becca and the staying power from face+body.
Last time you changed your hair style? I took my faux dreds out a couple of weeks ago, rocking my fro for the rest of the month!

Skintone / coloring : light, MAC NC 20. Medium Brown Hair and Eyes

Last skincare product changed: I haven’t changed anything really. Just added in a Vitamin C serum but that’s about it

Last time foundation changed: I usually use a matte liquid foundation but I finally tried Bare Minerals. I have to say it’s a nice change of pace. It builds up nicely and it feels lightweight on the skin. Never thought I’d like a powder foundation!

Last time hairstyle changed: It’s been dome time before I’ve changed my hairstyle. It’s thick and wavy. I usually put long layers in it and have it thinned out from time to time. It’s never no longer than my shoulders. Any longer and I’m weighed down

Genevieve Avatar

Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain with pink undertones

Last skincare product you changed? As it so happens, I have changed my cleanser from the Clinique Gentle cleanser to the Essano Rose Hip cleanser, that I received in a beauty bag GWP and it works just as well as the more expensive Clinique number.
I am also using the La Roche Posay Serum – which is new to me as well. And so far, so good.

Last time you changed foundations?
During the Priceline 40% off Cosmetics sale, I picked up the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation in light vanilla. I have found that it has a neutral base, not pink, so whilst it is OK, I probably won’t repurchase.

Last time you changed your hair style?
I changed my hair style the last time I went to the hairdressers: shorter at the back and tapered to the front. I have to be careful because when my hair is shorter it has a natural curl and not in the direction that I want, so I have to make sure that I brush my hair carefully when it is dry.

Rachel R. Avatar

Your skin tone/coloring: Very fair with neutral undertones; magneta/red hair; hazel/green eyes.

Last skincare product you changed? A few months ago I changed my moisturizer from Nu-Skin to Paula’s Choice.

Last time you changed foundations? A couple months ago, I changed my e.l.f. Flawless Finish Foundation from Porcelain to Light Ivory, because e.l.f. expanded the shade range, and Light Ivory is a better match. I rotate through a few foundations, though, so the rest have remained the same.

Last time you changed your hair style? Three years ago, my hair was almost down to my butt, and I got a razor cut bob (like Karlie Kloss had at the time). It was just past my jawline. Since then, though, I’ve let it grow back out and it’s past my shoulders.

Lea Avatar

Your skin tone/coloring: V. Fair/Cool

Last skincare product you changed? Moisturizer – I switched from trying a succession of samples to my Chantecaille Retinol moisturizer

Last time you changed foundations? Five months ago thereabouts. I finished my Armani Maestro Glow and started the La Mer foundation.

Last time you changed your hair style? Now that’s been several years; I went from a short bob to long hair. The length varies but generally shoulder length or longer these days.

Your skin tone/coloring:

Last skincare product you changed?
I switched from Clinique Clarifying Lotion #3 to #2 about a year ago.

Last time you changed foundations?
A couple years ago. I switched from Revlon Colorstay to Estée Lauder Double Wear…and never looked back!

Last time you changed your hair style?
About a month ago. I went shorter and added layers.

Your skin tone/coloring: Fair and cool. I was mis-draped a Cool Winter, but I do believe that I’m actually a Cool Summer.

Last skincare product you changed? I’ve only recently began doing any real skincare. However, the last thing I changed was adding an electric face brush to my evening routine.

Last time you changed foundations? In June. That’s when I really started getting into makeup and beauty. I had a wedding to attend and wanted to look nice. I got bitten by the beauty bug at that point.

Last time you changed your hair style? In November. I got a middy cut so I could wear hairstyles from the 1930s and 1940s.

Your skin tone/coloring: fair with neutral undertones.
Last skincare product you changed? I’m currently hunting for a good daily non-chemical body sunscreen, I’m a red head with fair skin and must wear sunscreen daily. Today I purchased Elta MD UV Pure, hoping it will work out as most natural non-chemical sunscreens seem to leave my skin dried out.
Last time you changed foundations? Last summer…I switched to the Make Up For Ever water blend foundation and love it!
Last time you changed your hair style? Never, I love my hairstyle and don’t think I will ever change it!

MoMerrell Avatar

Your skin tone/coloring: Dark/Cocoa

Last skincare product you changed? I have actually started introducing a lot more skincare products to try out so while I have my usual routine I’ve added a few items here and there while I try them out; mainly Caudalie, Murad, and Boscia items.

Last time you changed foundations? Ha, I have like 4 different foundations so which one I use depends on the day and what kind of coverage I want. I was using only DIOR but now I have switched to Clinique and when I am done with this one, I will hopefully choose a Fenty Beauty one or Lancôme.

Last time you changed your hair style? Another HA! I did a big chop 3 years ago so my hair stays in a tiny curly lil fro without about 2-3 inches of hair or shorter. I wear wigs a lot. This week I am wearing my thin braided black, 30 inch lace wig. Two weeks ago I wore my thick braided brown wig. In August I wore my curly lace front wig before I colored my hair from brown to blonde. I want to shave my head again so we’ll see what happens. My job is pretty used to it now but my first few months here were the funniest – people would walk right past my desk because they didn’t see the bald girl who started LOL.

Last time you changed foundations? I recently purchased the Estee Lauder Double Wear. I plan on trying it this weekend.
Last time you changed your hair style? Everyday lol #TeamNatural
