Sneak Peek: MAC Prissy Princess Palette Photos & Swatches
MAC Prissy Princess Eyeshadow Palette is one of six “Personality Palettes” the brand is releasing for the MAC Girls collection, which officially debuts today online and at select MAC stores. I’ll be sharing sneak peek swatches of all six palettes with one per post to keep everything organized. Each palette has eight eyeshadows and a highlighter, and it seems like the formula is new as the finishes are listed as Satin Shine, Smooth Pearl, Foiled Shadow, and Creamy Matte. It seems like a “cooler” neutral palette, though I’m not sure it’s truly cool-toned!
I really like some of these colors, but there is no way in the world I would ever buy a product called Prissy Princess! I’ll be looking for their dupes.
These certainly do well in the cohesive, easy, and pretty overt departments. But, that’s a good thing. And, yeah, the cooler in pan does not translate into a cooler swatch at all. Another good training palette. MAC really understands the target market so well for every one of their launches. We get so annoyed by LE fiascos, site crashes, or subpar product, that we tend to forget how BRILLIANT MAC really is.
Between Prissy Princess and Fabness, this palette is going to be a total skip unfortunately! Those swatches are just not up to the MAC quality I love!
Totally agree! One of the first things I thought when looking at the swatches, was…where’s the pigment? What is going on with their shadows? They used to be my favorite…not anymore 🙁
Are the containers plastic or cardboard? I’ve never seen mac put out cardboard but that’s what they look like.
Cardboard!
Boring as… yeah, you know. These shades look perfect for either an amateur or someone who just needs a palette to keep at their desk for a quick easy blah look. Not my speed.
Ditto.
Hahahha!
Yes! You took my thoughts and put them into much better wording than I ever could.
Well said Nancy! Total snooze fest.
You nailed it, Nancy. If I had a 12-year-old daughter just starting out with make-up, maybe I’d get it for her.
Skip 🙁
This looks like a Bare Minerals palette, except Bare Minerals is better quality
Hahahaha Katherine!!! True and true again!
The only thing really catching my eye in this palette is the highlighter. I’m also partial to anything rainbow related lol.
A well co-ordinated palette, but sadly lacking in quality.
