Chanel Dragon!!  If it ever gets discontinued, I will be one of those people who has to buy twenty of them to last for life… and store them in the refrigerator.

Mine would have to be all MAC items. My beautiful Pleasureflush msf, 3N lipstick, the original Heatherette lipstick, and….of course my ugly Mustard pigment 🙂

Halston blusher bought when I was about 15 years old. Yes, there was a full Halston line back then. Plus color makeup by Ralph Lauren, the makeup by YSL with real gold gilded containers, Tarte face powder/ cream foundation duo set when Tarte first came out. YSL crayon eyeliner- refillable. Cle de Peu single eyeshadows where you can coordintate your own colors.

Tracy Avatar

OMG.. I had a Halston blush. It was beautiful. I just freaked out when I read your post. I loved that blush. There used to be a gorgeous line from Ralph Lauren too. The cases were leathery. Halston.. ahhhh.

Jackie Avatar

Benefit’s High Beam and Urban Decay eyeshadow in Secret Service (I believe that’s the name, it’s a matte brown and it’s my perfect brow shade)

Maya C Avatar

Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua foundation. I recently got it and I can’t imagine anything that will outdo it.

Oh and Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliners. I bought the set of 15 and they’re completely ridiculously amazing.

Janette Avatar

I bought the 15 set too and thought OMG so many colors I will never get thru them. BUT Perversion is almost half way done! Ill be sad when its gone, its the blackest black eyeliner that stays put and glides like butter on the lids!

Kris Avatar

Ok, I just have to know; am I just not using these correctly? I have been staunchly on the side of UD 24/7 pencils because they get amazing reviews, come in so many colors and I bought the 15 set and considered it a steal.

But damnit, they slide *everywhere* on me and I have tried every trick I can find. I have decided it is my fault, not the pencils, but frustrating!

Emily O. Avatar

This has been my experience as well. I have like, ten, and they apply messily, smear and crease. Even given a little time to dry they just mix with my crease color for an unholy mess.

Angelcat47 Avatar

I have very oily lids and although I use eye primer, i still had problems until I happened upon these two tricks: After applying primer, lightly dust over it with powder. After applying pencil, lightly dust over it with powder.Since doing this,I can use the cheapest or oiliest of pencils without transfer!!

Benefit’s Gilded highlighter pencil. I think it’s discontinued but it’s so gorgeous. I am a die hard silver person but this is my holy grail

Anitacska Avatar

Nothing. Some would be harder to replace than others, but I have managed to find very rare limited edition items on eBay and MUA, so don’t think anything is irreplaceable.

Krista Avatar

I’m a liner junkie. I’ve been through pencil liners, liquid liners, and gel liners but I’ve never had something near comparable to MAC’s Blacktrack Fluidline. My only HG product together with Rubenesque Paint Pot also by MAC.

Monika-Luiza Avatar

benefit’s erase paste, the first real HG concealer I found and mac’c venetian lustru glass for the perfect strawberry lips

Mariella Avatar

either Craving or Capricious lipstick from MAC. I think that in a pinch, I could use either as a cream blush as well. My 2nd choice would be the Balmbini palette from TheBalm (this is cheating, I know, but it IS a “beauty product”) because it contains almost everything you could need for your whole face. And a 3rd (I know it’s supposed to be ONE product but I’m thinking this through as I type) would be either MAC’s Prepped for Glamour (LE) – I bought a back up! – or Painterly Paint Pot.

MAC Fleshpot lipstick! I know it’s already discontinued but strangely/luckily they still sell it in Japan. Only in Japan it’s a permanent product! I’m obsessed with nude lipsticks and fleshpot is definitely my all time favorite- colorwise and finishwise. It’s super matte 😉

Líria Avatar

lol! Chanel Dragon is a good one! I have to say, the MAC 187. Which is a shame, because it costs 50€ here (obscene!)but no other stippling brush is as dense and firm as this one.

Amanda Avatar

If Dragon ever gets discontinued, I fully encourage you to buy twenty of them, because it looks AMAZING on you!!!! LOL

For me, it’d prob be MAC MSF Natural…or the 224 brush!

Karla Avatar

Gosh I can’t think of anything I couldn’t live without. The only item I’ve been truly loyal to, and keep coming back to (although admittedly I do jump around but always come back) is Revlon ColorStay Foundation for Oily Skin.

Kay Avatar

C.O. Bigelow Mentha lip shine. It’s got a moisturizing shine that I can’t find elsewhere. Jack Black is a favorite here and good for overnight treatment/beach/outdoor exercise, but it doesn’t have that shine! And lipglosses are too dressy at times.

Kirari Avatar

My MAC Lightscapade. This is my HG highlighter/I want to look glow-y product. I know people claim that there are several dupes out there, but I’ve not found one that comes close on me.

Shi Avatar

MUFE HD 127! It’s the only foundation that has consistently looked good on me regardless of weather and hasn’t broken me out even after accidentally falling asleep in it.

Brie Avatar

My Chanel eyeliner in Rose Platine (which is limited edition unfortunately)…I use it on my lower lashline every single day. I bought all the ones they had available at both my Macy’s and my Nordstrom store nearby–Wiped out their inventory! I really hope to find something very similar or that Chanel will re-release eventually, otherwise…Oh, the horror!

Lulle Avatar

It’s not makeup but skincare : my face cleanser, Aquamarina by Lush. I tried to change, you know, the urge of testing something new, but this one is really made for my skin! It was combination with a very oily T zone, and with the use of Aquamarina it has become normal throughout time.

Leslie Avatar

I have yet to come across anything that’s solidly irreplaceable, but the closest thing would be my Slimshine in Urgent. I found it at a CCO a few months ago and it’s already halfway gone…so pretty, so discontinued. Wah.

Christopher Avatar

MAC Marquise D’ lipstick that came out with BBR and Wonder Woman. It’s my perfect slightly nude shade. I’m NC40 and most ‘nude’ lipsticks don’t work. This one is a soft peachy pinky nude with gold shimmer, looks good no matter what. I’m gonna have to stock up when WW hits the CCO!

Finally! Someone mentioned what immediately came to my mind – my Clarisonic Pro! I was thinking no one was thinking anything but make up products. I would not want to live without my Clarisonic – of course I could – but what a difference it has made in my skin and the way my skin care/makeup work. I am so in love with it, am thinking of getting a Mia despite it’s no biggie to travel with my Pro. I just keep thiking some day it’s recharge on the battery will die and I will be caught trying to find a deal on a new one and have to go without use of one for weeks. Ah, I guess if that were to happen, I would RUSH to the nearest Sephora or get overnight shipping on a new one. LOVE the new deep cleaning brush heads for Clarisonic if you all missed the launch of those.

Saffy Avatar

My Clarisonic, Nars blush in Douceur, and Nars Sheer Glow in Siberia. Douceur and Siberia are perfect matches for my natural flush and skin tone, and my Clarisonic has made a huge difference in my skin’s clarity.

Leenie Avatar

Eve Pearl concealer I went through a few already, but I still want to try Kevyn Aucoin concealer I heard that’s a great product

Glowey707 Avatar

For drugstore it has to be my Milani powder foundation in 01 Shell, I have been using this powder as a setting powder ever since I started makeup. As for higher end it has to be my MAC gel liners, I use these everyday. Also I want to give a shout out to my Urban Decay De Slick Oil Control Setting Spray!

Tina83 Avatar

My Urbban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion. Can’t do my makeup without it. I love it becuase I am a grad student and I have two jobs; I don’t have the time to touch-up my makeup through the day. The primer potion keeps my eyeshadow in tact all day long.

May Avatar

OPI Merry Midnight, I discovered it after it was discontinued and I purchased it on ebay for $16. Last time I checked it was up to $30.

John Avatar

My Laura Mercier Silk Creme foundation. I would definitely cry if that was discontinued! And because it’s a foundation, I can’t buy too many backup bottles because they’ll expire before I get to them, even if they are refrigerated. Since one lasts about 4 months with daily use, I’d probably pick up like… 6 of them (or a two year supply) and refrigerate them all. Haha.

Erica Avatar

My Clinique clarifying lotion! Before I used this I had dry, flakey splotches on my face for MONTHS that wouldn’t go away with any type of medication or cream. I bought this stuff and it was gone in days and hasn’t come back. It’s also taken my skin from always having 2 or 3 pimples, plus a massive breakout with my cycle to clear skin, with 1 or 2 pimples during my cycle. I will use this product until I’m 100!

Sarah C. Avatar

MAC’s Romping…it is my all time favorite eyeshadow (especially for my crease) and I will not know what to do when I run out of it.

S. A. Avatar

MAC Studio Stick foundation. So convenient. Such a perfect match to my skin. So tragically discontinued. I have three. Studio Tech has the same texture, finish, and feel on my skin but is much deeper toned. I initially suspected this, and swatched to confirm. It blends out to about the same on my skin, but I suspect come winter it won’t.

Still eternally on the hunt for a replacement, but I’m terribly picky.

I always thought eye shadow primer was just another needless product for us to spend money on but ever since using UD’s eyeshadow primer potion in sin, I am hooked. It’s awesome alone as well. I want to try greed. Don’t like Eden so much worn alone because it tends to disappear in spoltches during the day and looks weird. I would be very sad if they ever discontinued the sin color.

Elle Avatar

I’m obsessed with Geisha Ink eye liner and Giorgio Armani’s face Fabric. The eye liner doesn’t come off until you want it to.

Lindy Avatar

The dermadoctor KP body scrub! It has been amazing and has reduced the horrid bumps that were on the back of my upper arms. I will stock up if they ever discontinue it, because nothing else has come close to the KP scrub and the lotion that goes along with it!

Jen Avatar

Urban Decay Primer Potion, for sure! My oily eyelids provide quite a challenge for primers and pigments, and I’ve tried just about everything to make my eye makeup last. UDPP is the only one so far that has worked, and worked beyond my expectations! 12 hours after applying my makeup, my eyes looked the same. LOVE it. I also love my Clinique gel lotion. It’s moisturizing yet doesn’t make my skin oily. Lovely.

Ericka Avatar

I would have to say my MAC Lipmix, the old MAC pigments and glitter, MAC 180 brush, MAC 272 brush, MAC Carry All Case, Urban Decay VIP and Velvet Rope sets,Urban Decay Adore eyeshadow.

Niki Avatar

I would have to say L’Oreal Voluminous Waterproof Mascara in Black – this is the first mascara I ever bought and wore in 1988 and I keep coming back to it and now its the only mascara I will buy (no more experimenting for me).

Amanda Avatar

Christine, are you going to buy 20 backups now??? 🙁 I just bought 1 of chanel dragon because I figured…. now or never, and wow, it is so stunning. I must admit, I do not wear makeup often, so this lip color was shocking to me, but it’s so beautiful i’m keeping it. Maybe a special occasion will pop up where this color will be perfect 🙂 🙂
