Eye-Conic Multi-Finish Eyeshadow Palette

I was excited to get this when it first released but returned it within a month! There were testers at Sephora for all of these new palettes from Marc Jacobs EXCEPT for this one. Had there been, I would have passed on this for sure. All the colours but one were just really ugly on me. The wear of the shadows was impressive though. I really wanted this to work for me so I'd been experimenting, wearing this around the house without any primer underneath and I was really impressed because these did not crease on me. But they were so unflattering on me and at the price of this palette, it made no sense to keep it.

I so wish this was not limited edition because it is my perfect palette. I had eyed the ND Glam palette for the upcoming Sephora sale, but Christina cautions its not as cool as reported. As a result, I ordered a NIB backup of Steeletto from eBay. I agree that these shades do go on darker, but if I tap first in the lightest shade and then go into the others, I get the perfect shades for my fair skin with really no blending required. Jacobs wears it in the recent pandemic-in-the-life-of video his Man Friday cheekily thought up and filmed, though I never wear the colors with as much saturation. Maybe he will bring it back again because 95% of the palettes we are told are cool are coolish but never really cool and thereby always disappointing.

Unique color, a bit powdery (esp. crean and dark matte green shade). Staying powder is no problem though.
