What is your current brow routine?

I tweeze any stray hairs but like my current shape so I’m in maintenance mode there. I usually tweezer every other day at my desk, since I take close-up photos of my eye area often. I use Anastasia Dipbrow with an angled brush to fill them in and then clear brow gel (varies on what I use) to keep them in place. I trim the brow hairs with brow scissors every week or two.

I have to admit that I don’t really have a brow routine. I don’t really worry about them much as I have several completely bare spots where my brows did not grow back in after my chemotherapy which was 17 years ago. I tend to buy a drugstore brow pencil and mostly fill in the bald spots and then a little ABH dip brow in blonde to fill in the rest and call it a day. I don’t really love the look of the “Instagram” brows having grown up when most people plucked their brows to very thin lines or shaved them off completely and just penciled them in. I have used a hair regrowth product on my brows for over a year and haven’t noticed any hair growth in the bald spots. I do think it has helped make the hairs that I do have appear a bit thicker and maybe longer. Too bad they aren’t long enough to do a comb over, LOL.

Pretty similar routine to yours, Christine, except different products.
Tweeze any strays, some of which are a sheer white, so it’s not always easy to spot those. I use a pair of safety scissors and a plastic eyelash brush for trimming any long hairs probably once every few weeks or so.

As for daily: Rimmel Professional Eyebrow Pencil in Black-gold to fill in the shape, using the brush end to move it into place, then to set it, L’oreal Infallible Eyeshadow in Continuous Cocoa on an angled brush applied over it.

i’ve not shaped my brows in the longest time as i like the natural shape. i tweeze any stray hairs above and below the shape and between the brows (hate those!). then i fill them in with nyx brow gel which i love, before smoothing with a spoolie. lasts the whole day on my oily face.

I get them waxed (prefer threading but I can get them waxed by the woman who washes my hair and the chair there is less painful to my neck) when I need to clean up the edges as I have quite full brows. Otherwise I don’t have to do much. I don’t usually use brow products, but I have the ABH Brow Wiz, ABH Clear Brow Gel, and Glossier Boy Brow in Brown on hand if I need to do any super-polished look. Generally I use the Anastasia pair for the most put-together look, but have recently gotten the Boy Brow to try out as a two-in-one. Verdict is it’s not as polished but it’s faster so that’s good for if I’m pressed for time but still need to do something with my brows.

I also use Anastasia dip brow with an angled brush to fill in my brows. It usually does a good enough job of holding them in place on its own, so I don’t use a gel.

My brows are dark and reasonably full and my big problem now is the white hairs popping up. I tint them at home about once a month but there are a few that will not take the tint so I pluck them (which I know I am not supposed to do). I get them waxed once a month by the woman who cuts my hair because plucking the fine hairs that show up with make-up was too much of a chore. I maintain during the month. The NYX Micro Brow Pencil in Ash Brown works for me. There is a spoolie at one end. I brush my brows up and fill in a few sparse spots. They don’t need gel. I wear glasses with bold frames and those hide a lot of issues.

I’m almost embarrassed to say, but I groom my brows with a straight razor – not the ones with the handle… not sharp enough. I’ve tried tweezing and threading – no ma’am not for me lol.

To fill them in I use ABH’s dip brow in medium brown, clean them up with some concealer (usually Maybeline’s Fit Me concealer in medium) and go back in with ABH’s Brow Wiz (also in medium brown) to fix any mistakes.

I pull strays outside natural brow. I have crazy squirrely Eintstein brows that grow in the middle section and I lay those suckers into my tails which are very very sparse. I have naturally quite thin brows so I really do not have to trim. I prefer to build up to a thicker looking brow that I actually have.

Products: iT cosmetics skinny brow pencil, or Benefit Ka-brow. I like the shades; feel they work better for me than any of the ABH offerings. I’ve upped my brow game with the gel and tend to go Ka-brow most days as I’ve become faster/softer with application. It’s pretty much budge proof. Clear gel. What happened to the little gold coloured ABH which was amazing. The silver tube is all I can get and it isn’t remotely as good.

Seriously toying with blading. Took the dive recently with eyelash extensions and super happy with results. Next hair cycle I’m going rooted blonde. Need a change, like the idea of low daily maintenance for lashes and brows.

I wax with a sally’s face wax kit! I really like it because it doesn’t require a piece of fabric. Just let it try and then take it off. It’s painful just like any other but I prefer it to tweezing alone. I usually just fill in my brows with Elf’s mad for matte palette and clean up with concealer when doing my makeup 🙂

Brush w spoolie and fill in sparse areas w little strokes using ABH Brow Wiz. Comb again. I never set with a gel or anything.

I tweeze stray hairs. And trim brow hairs every now and then too. Just brush brow hairs up and trim.

I tweeze as necessary (probably twice a month) and sometimes use a fine razor to shape and get any thin hairs that I can’t get with the tweezer. Then I comb the brow hairs up and over and use either a thin brow pencil (Anastasia Brow Wiz in Chocolate) or a waterproof mousse (Tarte Amazonian Clay Brow Mousse in Medium Brown) to fill them in. The Tarte mousse is my favorite as I have the Anastasia pomade and Benefit’s and I find they are too thick for me to use daily–they darken my brows a bit too much. The Tarte one is the perfect color and I don’t need to add anything to it to have it stay all day.

I have very thick, bushy brows naturally. (Thanks to my Hungarian/Native Canadian heritage! HAH) So I tweeze them every 2 or 3 days.

Everyone says you shouldn’t tweeze above the brow, but I do it. Because my brows are SO thick and full. I have to ahaha. I’ll also do under the brow bone, and between the brows!

For my actual filling in routine, I take a spoolie and brush any powder or foundation out of my brows, then I take a very small angled brush, and I tap it into Annabelle’s Brow to Go Kit in dark, into the cooler darker shade. And I’ll tap off excess then I start with a line on the bottom of the front of my brows. Then slowly fill them in!!

I twist and turn the brush to fit my brow shape. That’s my biggest tip!!! You work the brush, not the other way around!!

After filling in with powder, I’ll brush through with a spoolie again. Add some tinted brow gel to keep my long bushy brows in place and BAM good to go!

I have full brows with a nice shape I may tweeze a few hair that grow in between brows other than that I like a very natural brow & I am lucky that I have a great shape to my brow so I don’t do anything. I don’t like trimmed brows even though everyone trims and grooms their brow hairs I prefer them to be more natural. I don’t like wearing eyebrow pencil unless it is very very little to fill in between but I don’t need it so I leave it alone. I like to brush them with a brow brush.

I use my Wayne Goss #8 brush with my Anastasia Dipbrow in Granite to fill in my brows then deepen the product with some generic cheap black-brown eyeshadow. I then go over my brows with Essence Make Me Brow in Browny Brows or Etude House Dr. Mascara Fixer with NYX Brow Gel mixed in for color.

Also: I love using my Dipbrow dried out. It goes on like a natural pencil yet stays forever! Also, this one pot which I use literally 95% of days has lasted me about a year now and I still probably have tons–TONS–of product left. (I know it has an expiration date of 6M but I haven’t had any issues and am pretty sanitary so I don’t have any problem still using it!)

I’m blessed with a good brow shape (the Ukranian half in me 🙂 ) so all I do to maintain the shape is tweezer really stray hairs when I remember to do it.

They have gotten more sparse as I age, so I do fill them in. I really like MAC brow products, price and quality wise, so I do not go to extensive length to try what else is out there. Anastasia BH is waay to expensive here, I don’t try it, cause will not be able to afford it anyways.

So, at the moment I use MAC big brow pencil in Lingering and MUFE clear brow gel. No complaints whatsoever, happy camper.

Very, very sad is my current brow routine! My eyebrows are very pale, blonde-grey and the last time I had them shaped was a disaster. So I have experimented with brow gels – which just don’t last and I am back to using brow pencils. At the moment I am using up my Innika brow pencil in taupe and I use a spoolie to make sure all the brow hairs are going in the same direction.
