Well I am tempted to order Urban Decay goodies since they didn’t do their spring sale! Not sure if I should spend the money though.

what is a friends and family sale? do you have to be signed up to something? I don’t think we have them in the UK. I’ve never come across one anyway.
Nothing really special in terms of the name – it’s just a sale that’s extended to “friends” and “family” but that pretty much includes everyone with most brands’ sales.
I might consider partaking to get a few Deborah Lippmann polishes at a discount! I am hooked on her polish but it is so expensive, getting a few bucks off some of my most sought-after colors would be nice.
Does the 20% include fragrances?
Oh! I’m really excited for this since I’ve never looked into beauty.com before. I am going to buy a nars duo, some voluspa candles, and finally try some jack black lip balm.
So far I’m looking at butter london & lippmann nail polishes.

I tried the link on this page for the discount and when I land on beauty.com, I get a message that reads: “We’re sorry you missed our friends and family event.” The sale was to start hours ago today, May 10, so I’m confused. I called Beauty.com and they said that all of their friends and family events are currently inactive and they don’t know what I’m talking about.

Man, I need to look into ebates! I just placed my order, wish I would have stopped by your site first! I use myluckyrewards through Lucky magazine and saved 5% though. I got 3 perfumes, (2 limited edition for summer) and saved $31! SUPER KILLER!

I just purchased Deborah Lippmann lacquers in Happy Birthday, Between the Sheets, and Today was a Fairytale, as well as butter LONDON nail lacquer in Victoriana. It’s really hard not to go back for more! If they had Lippmann in Lara’s Theme in stock, I would be all over that shiz haha

I picked up a large black Z palette, blinc eyebrow mousse in black (which was already on sale, so I got it for $15 after the discount!), Jemma Kidd light as air foundation in light, Peter Thomas Roth glycolic acid 20% hydrating gel, and a Jack Black lip balm. I’m super excited about the glycolic acid gel…the $10 discount is really fantastic and I’ve been wanting to try an AHA product for a while.

UGH I got the page telling me to start shopping now to get 20% off my offer, and I thought it was strange no 20% discount appeared in checkout but I submitted anyway thinking perhaps the discount would appear after that (I cleared my cache but the discount didn’t appear in checkout either) and so I have no discount. Sad! Thanks though!

I just called beauty.com to ask about combining the ebates discount with the 20% discount and they said it was not possible.
They’re totally wrong – if you sign into your ebates.com account and go to the beauty.com section, there is a link that’ll take you to the 20% off right there!
I would never recommend this site. I wanted four products and talked to online chat reps about the fact that 2 of them were out of stock for 1-2 weeks. They assured me that they would be shipped later with discount. So I ordered Wed and on Thursday, my backorder was canceled. I called to complain and they said, “Oh, sorry, we’re not getting them within two weeks so we just canceled it.” Poorly done site and even worse customer service. Now I’ve missed my Sephora discount coupon so I’ll have to pay full price if I still want those items.
The link still worked for me until the 14th! 🙂 It wasn’t visible on the site anymore, but following the banner on here allowed me to get it still. Huge thanks, Christine! I ordered the BeautyBlender set that comes with the cleanser and a pair of the blenders, some dry shampoo, and the Too Faced Chocolate Soleil bronzer (had been eyeing it for a while at Sephora, but never caved in because I still have a new box of Hoola I need to get through. I figured why not though, it being 20% off and all. :P). Can’t wait for them to arrive. 🙂
