Sneak Peek: MAC Cremeblend Blush
MAC Cremeblend Blushes
Sneak Peek: MAC Cremeblend Blush
Since it’s been awhile since these were originally out, I’m still testing out the wear, but I will have full photos, swatches, and reviews for you tomorrow. 🙂 Please, please, please hold all questions until I’ve actually had the chance to review them, at which time I will also suggest dupes. I can’t answer questions until I’m prepared, which means I have to finish testing the product, do cheek swatches, etc. I hope you understand 🙂
See more photos & swatches!

I know you are waiting to review them and answer questions, but i’m just requesting at the time you do a review that you include a comparison to the creme blushes that were recently discontinued, because I really did not like the texture of those! That would help me out, thank you!
I do not own them, so I cannot help you out. I’m sorry, I wish I could be helpful but I am afraid I am not much help. I threw all of mine away because they were too old.
They’re definitely less sticky (actually not sticky at all) my MAC counter still has the old ones and the MA said they got the new ones in and was nice enough to let me swatch and compare.
No worries, you’re doing an awesome job!
I agree!
i am really not liking the colours! ladyblush looks completely different! luckily i live in the uk and theyre still instock so im gonna definately pick up ladyblush before it gets sold out. something special looks like the only one i would consider buying but will wait till u post the proper reviews. thanks for the sneak peak!
Are these being reformulated, or something?
YaY! I’m so glad test block is over so I can get back into makeup! Thanks for doing all this stuff for us Christine. VERY much appreciated!
Oooh I’m happy to see that newly formulated Ladyblush seems to look like the blushcreme. The description had me a little frightened over here 😛
these are gorgeous! But I just dont know how to work with creme blushes~ 🙁
Watch someone will still ask you a question Christine! lol
If I get too many, I’ll just stop doing sneak peeks & wait to post all at once! It’s just frustrating because I’m not ready to review, and thus not really equipped to answer questions, but I know that some want to see swatches as soon as possible – always hard to balance both sides.
I enjoy seeing the swatches, thanks for posting them while you are reviewing the products.
Aww don’t do that. Don’t let the few ruin sneak peaks for the rest of us.
Don’t do that! I love the sneak peaks, they get me so excited! I feel like most of your readers are patient and look forward to your reviews!!
Can’t you just not include a link where people post questions?
I still want people to be able to post comments – I just don’t want to have questions like, “What’s the formula like?” because it’s something I will cover in the full review.
i love sneak peaks!
I think the way you do it is fabulous. I enjoy your sneak peeks… and it makes me look forward to the review!
Are they changing the color of Posey, then? It looks pretty different than older swatches I’ve seen.
Oh oops, sorry, just read that you said no questions yet. I’ll ask another time. 🙂
very nice!! thx C!!
I’m loving these sneak peeks =)
AHHHH!!!! I started to jump in my chair when I saw this! :DD So excited! 🙂 Thanks Christine SO much for being able to post these so early 🙂 It means alot to me, you just made my night! 🙂
so excited to see your full review of these!! 🙂 if possible could you include an ingredients list as well please 🙂 mac’s site lacks such information Thank you for all your hard work!!
I already threw away the boxes, sorry 🙁
Aaaah I want I want I want!
Why is there so much condensation on 2 of the blushes? Were they under a light or is that just the way the picture was? Just curious.
Brit Wit and Posey look lovely though!
Nope, that’s how they were. I even left them open to see if they’d dry out but they didn’t really.
I think that’s a complaint some users had with the “old” formulation – the cremeblend blushes would “sweat”, especially in warm weather. I’ve never tried them either – I’m happy with the MAC powder blushes – but was regretting it when I saw they were discontinued and sold out online. Then I saw that my in store MAC counter still has plenty of them.
look like make up for ever liquid blushes
i just might get one of these…at first I didn’t like them, but now i think they look nice
Hey Christine, would you happen to know how the So Sweet, So Easy colour compares with Tickle Me Pink from the Stylishly Yours collection?
Sorry Christine, I saw that you will post dupes/similar ones later. No need to answer this now!
Tickle Me Pink is darker and pinker.
SOO excited for So Sweet, So Easy … I’ve been looking for the perfect baby pink cream blush FOREVER!! Thanks Christine!!
Something Special and Lady Blush are both so pretty.
I’m so sad they discontinued their Blushcreme formula. I absolutely love them; Brit Whit is my favorite everyday blush, paired with Coygirl, it’s perfect! I didn’t like the Cremeblend blushes with the Lilyland collection and I’m assuming these are the same. Blah…so disappointing.
I don’t usually use cream blushes, but these look so pretty, I may have to try a few. I’ll wait for your review to decide. 🙂
brit wit looks gorgeous. waiting for your reviews!
OMG ..i love something special …so sweet so easy is gorgeous too…when are these releasing internationally?
March 2011.
Ladyblush and Something Special look great! I’m going to wait for your review, but I think I may get one or both.
Ah I love all of these!
Can these cream blend blushes be put into palettes?
Yes.
In the future, as per the post’s intro, please hold questions until I’ve had a chance to provide you a full review, at which time I would have answered your question.
Oooh I really like some of these! Brit Wit & Something Special look promising. 🙂 I am loving my UD afterglow cheek tints, so I’m hoping these are good too!
So sweet so easy looks so much paler and blue toned than the Lillyland swatch 🙁
was their a problem with the old blushcreme formula? as in, was something in the old formula dangerous? because i believe i have posey and i do like it, it’d be a shame to have to throw it out
If there was something dangerous, there would more likely be a recall. They’ve been around for many years, but MAC is constantly reformulating and revamping their product lines.
i love posey, so sweet, and something special!! they are soo beautiful!!
thank you for the swatches christine!!
Something Special looks really pretty!
agreed! It’ll be something I’m hoping to pick up 😀
Nice colours but unfortunately I don’t think creme type blushes work for oily skin plus I live in a tropical weather so definitely a no no. What’s more these cream blushes don’t have a long shelf life, if you don’t store them properly they will melt, can already see the oil on the surface in the pics.So again I ‘ll pass this collection!
It’s not oil – it’s water…
Ha ok
It actually looks like condensation on the top.
I totally disagree that oily skins can’t wear creme blushes. As long at you have a great base and set with powder, I can’t see why they wouldn’t work. I’m a huge fan of creme blushes and I live in the tropics and have never had a problem. I find they’re easier to use when they’re warm anyway. Never had any trouble with my products going off or melting either, but I can’t say that I’ve used MAC’s blushes before, so it might be a different story.
So pretty!! I can see myself wearing every single one of these colors!! Thanks for the quick swatches to tide us over 😀
Thanks for the preview! I’ll be interested to see how these compare formula-wise to the old ones. I found Blushcremes way too sticky for my liking. I’m sure there will be lots of chatter about it : )
sorry if this might sound stupid, but how or what do you use to apply them?
These are blushes, so you would use them on cheeks. I use the 188.
they are awesome all of them,.
Nice colours ! I might consider buying lady blush.
so.. Mac discontinued their cremeblushes, so they could relaunch them as permanent with 3 of what may be the exact same as the old ones… *confused*
They wanted to launch a new formula – but why should they discontinue colors if they feel they’re popular or solid shades to have? I’d rather MAC reinstate colors than rename them or discontinue them altogether. The formula is completely different!
Ah.. I’ve seen the new swatches.. that the 3 colours already existing have slightly changed ;O I’m going to have to get a backup of Lilicent before it leaves forever!
i have posey and looove it
please include names with the pic in the pots so i can see the colour in the pans , thankyou x
Could you please let me have some time where I can post the full post? This is just a preview post.
Posey is such a lovely color, it also looks like a fabulous lip color! =)
Thanks for the sneak peak Christine! I can’t believe how much work you have to do! Looking forward to the review, but no rush 😀
I love sneak peaks, but if they get to be too stressful, I’m pretty sure most of your readers can wait the time that it takes (or at least I can 😀 )
Will these be permanent or limited edition?
Permanent.
Posey looks excellent!
prettyyy
