I love to do a neutral eye, usually with some sort of gold, on the eye, black mascara, a coral-pink blush, then finished with Chanel Dragon!!

The one I like lately is perfect, dewy skin with a soft pink creme blush and Truth & Light Magically Cool Powder or Chez Chez Lame. Then I use black Superslick liner in an extended wing on upper lid, and Black Swan or Feline smudged into the wing from the lower lash line, with Feline in the waterline. Flaunting It Kissable Lip Colour on the lips, which is my new go-to sexy lip color.
This look always gets results!
I really like to play up my eyes with a sexy smokey look. I keep the rest of my face bronzed and neutral. Lips are blotted with a nude. No lipgloss cause guys usually hate sticky wet gloss lips.
A dark smoky purple eye with lots of lush lashes, nude plum blush with soft golden pink highlighter, dark brows and sheer soft pink lipstick.
Nars Etrsuque on the lids, Buck in the crease, gold eyeliner on the lower lashline and waterline, and dramatic black cat eye liner with tons and tons of L’Oreal Voluminous mascara! Then paired with Chanel Mandarin (my power colour, seriously! thanks so much for introducing me to this line 🙂 though my wallet does not! LOL) and if I’m feeling especially glam, some Illamasqua Ore patted over the eyelid. Cheeks are light — either with Mac Virgin Isle or Prim & Proper. If I feel like I need highlight, I use either an eyeshadow or Physician’s Formula Shimmer Strips. Then I might bronze up my skin with either ELF’s Bronzer or NYC Sunny!

That’s what my bf told me lol. He was like O___O (not in a good way) when I tried on a super bright red lippie. He’s just happy when I look “fresh” and use corally-toned makeup.

Purple smokey eye, rosy pink blush and rosy pink lips
a deep smokey forest green eye (MAC Humid) and a dark navy in the crease to smoke it out (Deep Truth) with black liner in the waterline and black lashes. MAC Peachtwist blush with Chez Chez Lame highlighter and a ‘mlbb’ lipstick (MAC Modesty) to let the eyes do all the work.
I’m all for crazy makeup, bright colors, experimenting, etc – but not for a date. My go-to look would be a neutral eye with softer gold colors (nothing too shimmery or glittery), with a chocolate liner and black mascara. I’d also do a light pinkish-coral blush, a touch of Guerlain bronzer to the forehead/temples/etc, and a really easy nice baby pink or nude lip, nothing too goopy or glossy. This is basically my every-day look amped up with some shadow, which is nice because it’s pretty but not fussy, and doesn’t scream “look at my makeup!” Also, I like it since there’s no worry if your red lipstick is on your teeth or anything like that!

My favorite date look consists of very natural eye with fine lined winged eye liner in black track or blitz and glitz with a natural cheek with a glow and a pinky nude mauve lipstick or lip gloss!
wow Dragon is purty! I’m fair/light & am looking for a red – any suggestions? I didn’t see this on Chanel’s site..maybe it’s DC? Anywho, I like to do a deep brown smokey eye (the look is on my blog at fairbeauty.org :)) with NARS Galapagos being a crucial part of that smokey eye & a pink lip with a shiney l/g on top (like Chanel Fluorescent)!
I’m not a big make-up experimenter so I pretty much have two looks that I use for both night and day. You happened to describe one of them.
At first when I read this, I thought it was “best first date look” so I was going to say that I love that you’re bold and wear red lipstick on first dates (I used to as well). But I also love that your everyday date look is so simple and classic. Sometimes I chicken out and don’t wear red lipstick when I’m with my boyfriend anymore because it means I can’t kiss him. But other times, red lipstick trumps smooches.
A gray/black smoky eye and a nude lip.
I like doing Amber Lights on the lid, Sketch in the crease, and Phloof to highlight. I normally pair it with a neutral plum blush (Secret Blush BPB) and a golden toned highlight. I finish off with a neutral lip, my fav is Marquise ‘D and Love Nectar 🙂
Mine is a smokey eye, either green, brown or violet, and faux lashes. Paired w/ nude peach lips and peachy cheeks.
If i’ve known the guy, then I go for bright colors. It’s what I love, and I get bored with wearing neautrals
Can’t go wrong with KVD Lucifer shadow in the crease and outer v and Fyrinnae Newcastle shadow on the lid and inner v and I like to smoke it out. Mac Refined Deeper Bronze bronzer and top it off with MAC Lychee Luxe Lipglass.
Oh I forgot to add lots of Lancome Hypnose Drama mascara.
