Stellar Beauty Beam & Flare Cosmic Blushes Reviews, Photos, Swatches
Beam
Stellar Beauty Beam Cosmic Blush ($25.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a medium pink with warm undertones and a satin sheen. The consistency was very soft but incredibly powdery, so there was a lot of excess powder that came away from the surface, even with a light touch, which made it messier to work with. (I’d also be slightly concerned for anyone who has much drier skin than I, in case it exacerbates flakiness.) It had semi-sheer, buildable coverage (up to semi-opaque) that applied evenly and blended out easily. It wore well for six and a half hours on me before fading.
The formula is supposed to have a “translucent wash of pigment” that has a “subtle glow” and “long-wear” that “builds easily to a strong, lustrous finish.” There are only three shades in the range presently, and the pigmentation was more semi-sheer to medium in coverage, buildable with a very soft texture–but so soft that there was a ton of excess powder kicked up in the pan even with a light touch and a soft brush. They have a luminous finish on the skin, but they only last six to seven hours on me, which is shorter than average.

Flare
Stellar Beauty Flare Cosmic Blush ($25.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a medium pink-coral with warm undertones and a fair amount of gold shimmer. It had medium coverage, which was buildable to semi-opaque coverage, if desired. The powder felt silky to the touch–very finely-milled–but was much looser in the pan and ended up somewhat powdery. When I applied to my cheeks, it blended out nicely and ended up looking luminous but not dry or dusty. This shade wore well for seven hours before fading on me.

It is pretty, especially as an “everyday” type of shade. But also super easily duped, it looks like. I own Nars Orgasm, which has Nyx Pinched as a dupe, and I’ve got that one, too, plus WnW’s dupe.
If I were to get something new in a similar shade, I would go for Benefit Galifornia if it reviews decently.
Definitely the type of shades most ranges have!
These just don’t look worth $25 to me. They look like drugstore products.
Totally understand, Rachel! I wish they included more product in them at this price point.
Agreed!
I fell in love with Flare, but then I saw Bella Bamba is a dupe, and now I want it even more 😛
I only have a travel sized pan of Bella Bamba left, and it has a huge dip in it. So I might have to get this to replace my beloved!!
If you use Bella Bamba that much, you might consider a dupe for it that has more product in it!
DUH! You’re so smart Christine!!
I’ll look into that tonight!!
Also, I used the foundation Matrix tonight for the first time (I ordered a ABH Foundation stick off sephora tonight, without seeing it in person first!) as I was between getting two shades, and it helped me decide, and go for the one shade!!
So thank you so much for all that you do!!!
I really like Flare! Just what I need – another blush – but this is gorgeous on you so I guess I will cave : )
Aw, thank you Deborah! I bet you have a dupe 😉
All of my blushes are in the pink family so I wouldn’t have a dupe – : )
Oh – your picture using Flare looks rather pigmented which I like – So it’s buildable to so that it looks like your picture? Lovely!
Yes, you can build it up!
I hear Stellar is a Canadian brand so I’m keen to support homegrown brands! Looking forward to reading more reviews on the product range!
It is a Canadian brand!
Really pretty blushes Christine, but a little low on the rating side. Gorgeous eye look too.
They have a great end result, but they aren’t quite as described!
The blushes are nice, not that special looking, But the St Sebastian lip with this eye look is a great combo.
