I gave in and ordered the new Guerlain noire blush and the Rue de Rivoli palette for the spring. They look so great! I’m staying in this weekend because I caught a nasty cold – not fun. Not really wearing lipstick b/c my lips are dry from the cold so it’s just rosebud salve instead. *sigh* I look like death warmed over.

Weekend plans: taking down the Christmas Tree and celebrating my Mom’s B-day two weeks later since me and her contracted the reached flu bug. My mom was sick during Christmas (my B-Day) and I got sick on her B-Day four day later. We ended up having Christmas diner New Years day. lol

Lipstick I keep wearing: Hmmm, I wear Mac’s Bombshell a lot lately. It’s a nice color with a neutral eye. And Estee Lauder Crystal Rose. Love it.
What makeup did I get this week? Nada, zip, not a thing! Sleek’s “Molten Metal” should have been out at Superdrug, but they haven’t received their stock yet, but have promised to put one by for me.
I’m trying hard to cut down my ‘wants’ list for MAC’s Peacocky collection when it comes out here next month, and it’s hard lol. I want so many of those eyeshadows. I’m also looking forward to swatches of the Wonder Woman collection when they come available, so I can narrow that list down, too.
I started back at bellydance class this week, and had a great time. I’ve also been relieved to find out that, although my sister lives between two flooded areas in Queensland Australia, the area where she lives isn’t on a flood plain.
Oh…I did haul a bunch this week, I feel sorta bad because I’ve been trying to get a handle on my spending. Dangerous Cuvee paint pot and Prance e/s at MAC, then ordered Style Curve and Ivy and Siahi online (Siahi is backordered – hope I get it!).
Nothing unusual for the weekend. Go to my town’s new winter farmer’s market, volunteering time at the animal shelter, see a band with my boyfriend, maybe get some Thai food!
I’m obsessed with Style Curve. I actually have Show Orchid but to me they are not that similar, Show Orchid is so much more pink. This violet not-quite-purple color is amazing! I’m wearing it with just really good foundation, contour color and mascara and just LOVING it.

Haul (all Guerlain Spring): Meteorites Compact in Rose (#1); Rue de Rivoli eyeshadows; Blush G; and a Rouge G lipstick in Fuchsia Delice (#70).
I was tempted to get another of the Rouge G lipsticks, but couldn’t decide on a colour. Rose Desir (#71) is really nice, but similar to lipsticks I already own. Orange Euphorique (#45) is less intense than I expected, but it’s still a little out of my comfort zone.
Weekend plans: Hopefully just stay inside to avoid the snowfall and -25 C temperatures!

I got an email earlier this week that Sephora had the MUFE Diamond Powders in Smoky (15) and Champagne (11) back in stock. I’ve been waiting on these for several months, so I jumped on the chance to get them, even though I just splurged on the Peacocky collection last week. I’m so glad I did, since they were out of stock again later that day! To round out my $50, I also got the Diamond Eyeshadow in Diamond Purple (309) because the swatches I’ve seen online are exactly this grurple color I’ve been loving lately. All three are just gorgeous… one of the best hauls I’ve had, ever!

Haul: Took advantage of the CVS clearance sale and Wags sales and bought some old favorites and new goodies. Top picks of mine are Revlon Age Defying oncealer and Revlon Color Burst lipsticks.
Weekend Plans: Dinner w/ friends tonight, shopping tomorrow, and my cousins babies Baptism Sunday. I’m so excited to be out and about because the snow here has kept me cooped up for too long!
Lipstick: I’ve been loving just using liner to fill in lips lately. Today I’m wearing Beurre creamstick liner by MAC.
Haul: Peacocky Prance & Sexpectations; Flaunting it
Weekend plans: In laws in town, lots of food and driving around

HAUL Yesterday I got my Mickey Contractor order: Athma quad, Oomph and Saffron e/s, Sur Blush, and Mehr l/s. (Siahi is coming later.)
I also got Too Chic BP and Fusion Pink l/s.
Since up till now I was the one in a billion who didn’t have Carbon or Folie either, I wanted the quad. I really love Jaan and Vivah. They are just the camel-y colours I’ve been looking for, and they look awesome on a golden base. I have to say that all the MC e/s are such a great combination. The singles, especially Oomph and Marvel, go so well together with Jaan and Vivah.
I tend to wear a different lipstick every day, but I wore Mehr yesterday and today, and I’m going to wear to tomorrow, too! It is my first Mac matte, and I really like it. My lips are even less dry than usually.

Weekend plans: Visit my father-in-law at the hospital (coming out of a surgery) and spending time with hubbie and son 🙂

Haul: china glaze anchors away, a few zoya polishes, Orly space cadet and galaxy girl polishes, ud lip junkie in wall flower, naked and midnight cowboy, benefit bella bamba, and siahi fluidline. It’s up on the mac site again so if you missed it the first time like me HURRY!!!
Weekend plans: not sure yet but will probably involve food, shopping and drinking lol

This week I hauled two Guerlain lipsticks and two Guerlain glosses from the Spring collection; the pink and gray quint, a lipstick, and a gloss from the Dior spring collection; a pair of Tory Burch sunglasses; and a Tory Burch spring bag. Well, I guess the last two aren’t beauty items, although I think they contribute to my appearance :).
I’m looking forward to the long Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend — planning to catch up on some things at home, and maybe see a movie with friends. Yay for long weekends!

Haul: This week I hauled the Spring Collections from Urban Decay and Too Faced.
Weekend plans: I am going to take it easy. Try to finish up Fable 3 finally. Plus I’m way behind on photographing and swatching things for my blog.
Lipstick you keep wearing: I keep going back to Too Faced’s Lip Lustre Pencil in Caspian with a touch of Snow Bunny Lip Bronzer on top. It just looks amazing on me!
I’m supposed to be saving up for the MAC Peacocky eyeshadows coming out in three weeks here in the UK, but Illamasqua at Selfridges had 50% off! I might have bought two neutral cream eyeshadows (Midas and Command) and a coral gloss (Perform)… The total was 30 USD! I had to 😛 oh woe, Peacocky, it is one less eyeshadow for me.

Last weekend I scored the Naked palette, MAC’s Mega Metal Shadows in Ego and Sex-pectations, along with the 219 brush, and two Jack Black lip balms in Lemon and Chamomile and the Peppermint.
…and when I say “peppermint”, I mean the Natural Mint and Shea Butter. lol
How do you like the lip balms?!
They’re very nice! One of my friends tried my Lemon and Chamomile last night, and she loved it.

I’ve loved all your “Mellan” photos and have held back from commenting so many times….didn’t want to seem like a puppy freak…lol! we have a 6 year old Portuguese Water Dog named Rocky, who’s quite the character; he sure keeps us on our toes, let me tell you! The reason I wanted to comment here, was because in the video clip it looks like Mellan’s playing with road kill…Rocky’s favourite toy! He has a squirrel & a racoon that he just loves! Your clip made me laugh….love that Mellan! xox
Mellan had one of those until a puppy playmate destroyed it, LOL! In the video, he’s actually toting around a tug rope (which is probably one of his favorite toys).
Those road kill toys are great though – no stuffing!

Lipstick I keep wearing: Dior Voluptuous Care in Mirza Mauve. I’m SO enchanted by this lipstick – it looks kind of a boring golden tinged bronze in the tube (not even remotely mauve!) but when applied, it transforms into this deep plummy rose with golden shimmer. I find myself quite mezmerized by it… 😉
Haul: urban decay naked palette finally! i also picked up urban decay grindhouse sharpener, palladio rice powder and nyx eyeshadow base. elf concealer brush from target. and No7 tinted moisterizer. best part is i had gift cards to ulta and target!
Weekend plans: looking at apartments

Haul – ordered my Hello Kitty stuff from Sephora, L’oreal Telescopic Clean Definition mascara, Oscar Blandi Dry Shampoo and a new hairbrush, all from ULTA. I need to run over to MAC tomorrow to possibly do a quickie haul. Oh, and my CROWN BRUSH set finally arrived!
Weekend Plans: Quick trip to Target for groceries and such. Sunday, is HOME DEPOT day for paint & closet stuff for the baby’s room–only 81 more days!!
Current Lipstick: last couple of days have just been Sugar Plum Tinted Lip Treatment SPF 15– lips are so chapped this winter!

Lipstick I keep going back to: Clinque’s Bamboo Pink. It’s really the color of my lips, so it’s a no brainer when I don’t want to think too much about what I’m wearing.
Haul: NYX e/s palettes in catwalk, champagne& caviar and romance. NYX eye pencils in black and charcoal. MAC l/s in Please Me, MAC Fix plus. Weekend plans: relax and watch the playoffs. Lipstick I’m wearing MAC Please Me topped with either Wonderstruck or Flusterrose lustreglass.
Haul: all but three of the Mac Mega Metal shadows..they are as amazing as reviewed! Three of the new Kissable lip colors. My fave for theweek is the Urban Deacy 15th anniversary liner collection!!!! LOVE!

This week I actually bought some cosmetics. Neutrogena Age Shield Repair sunblock, NYX cream blush in Bronze Goddess, blush in Terra Cota, Lip liners in Deep Purple, Mauve, and Mahogany, and eyeliner in White and then some headbands everyone keeps asking about. I really like swap meets!
Haul: (MAC unless otherwise stated) My Pro Store’s last 2 Beige-ing shadesticks, Soft Brown e/s, Charcoal Brown e/s, MSFN in Light Medium, Angel l/s, Costa Chic l/s and UD Book of Shadows Vol. III… My poor wallet, thank God I B2M one of the lipsticks!
