Say what you will about Becca, I really like that they listen to customers and make popular LE products permanent, as well as having a huge range of shades across many depths (very rare for highlighters, I feel). I mean, this is the 7th permanent shade, and they’re not all just reiterations of pale champagne gold.
I hope this version of Prosecco Pop has better texture than the Jaclyn Hill palette. While I LIKE that palette, the consistency is different from their single pans. Maybe its just me.
Oh good lord… And after Jaclyn said it was actually going to be limited edition for once. /awaits the backlash
They don’t have her name on the packaging like they did with Champagne Pop. It looks like they cut her out of the project on this one which is pretty shady seeing as she designed the color.
I’m trying really hard to resist these after seeing the Colourpop swatches from a few days ago.
I’m actually happy they made this a single (with more iterations too!). I never wanted that bulky palette but I was interested in the shade. I had a feeling they were going to make it permanent! Looking forward to your swatches 🙂

Prosecco is such a beautiful shade that I suppose I’m glad for options, but not too happy with Becca sort of throwing out JH’ s credit for the shade.
Oh well, I’ve got all those golden highlighters in EE G&G Palette, plus fully intend on getting the Nicole Guerra (I prolly misspelled her name?) palette!
Jaclyn Hill threw Becca under the bus with the eyeshadow palette; first she claimed she was involved in every, single aspect, including quality, but as soon as there was backlash on the quality, and the fact it was made in China, Jaclyn then claimed it was just the one shade she chose the color of only, and the rest was Becca’s decisions. Then, she had the audacity to say she was behind the “recall” of the “faulty” palettes ( because every one she personally received was flawless…), although we all know how generous Sephora’s return policy is… I personally wonder how much input she actually did have, or did Becca just “license” her name…?
Jaclyn said she didn’t know they were coming out with this….definitely gives me bad vibes about the brand. Seems wrong since it was her collaboration in spite of (probable) legal technicalities. I won’t be partaking in this launch. This color wouldn’t work on me anyway.
I’m not that impressed with the champagne pop and prosecco pop in the Jaclyn palette. I don’t have the singles to compare but they are supposed to be the same.
In term of color, I prefere prosecco pop to champagne pop (too gold).
For me, they are dupes of Burberry’s Shell (eyeshadow), but Shell is more finely milled.
I don’t mind that Becca is releasing this without Jaclyn Hill. If they are able to do this, it must be because they are legally entitled to do so in their contract with her. Which she signed. For money. So the girl got paid either way and I don’t believe that she would enter into these deals without having the contract handled by a business lawyer so I doubt she really got taken advantage of by Becca.
Frankly, I’m having Youtuber-collaboration fatigue, not only is it so common these days, the product quality of those seem to have really dropped as well. It’s just a more manipulative form of celebrity endorsement to me. I was sort of interested in the Becca/Jaclyn palette, but I read mixed reviews while items in those categories from Becca’s permanent line consistently reviews well. I’ll be waiting on Christine’s review to see if I’ll pick up Proscecco pop since it is actually the main reason I was interested in the palette at all.
Purchased the pressed powder version and I like it. I tried it on with a salesclerk and we swatched it too comparing it to the Opal shade which I also own. I felt the Opal is more pearlescent than the Prosecco Pop which to me has more of a matte finish. They both have their place in my makeup routine.
