The Body Shop's Community Trade alcohol is handmade from sugar cane by the 200 farmers of the Consorcio Agro-artisanal Dulce Organic (CADO), in Cotopaxi, Ecuador. The organic sugar cane here produces a pure high quality alcohol that provides a quick drying finish to our fragrance products, and their trade supports CADO in its aim to give its members "a chance to fight poverty without losing their traditional way of life or destroying the environment.
