Skin tone: Medium Warm (MAC NC30)
Favorite product(s) this month: Much to my surprise, it’s my Notoriously Morbid Vanishing Cabinet. Notoriously Morbid makes fantastic highlighters and the pink/gold shift highlighter called I Burn I Perish is beautiful. The coral blush is outstanding and lasts all day without fading. The real superstar of the month is the aptly named Matte eyeshadow pigment in Too Good To Be True. It is an absolutely STUNNING lavender color but the intensity diminishes significantly after four hours of wear. For now I just carry it in my make up bag and touch up with my finger at lunchtime to bring back the intensity. I cannot find another shadow like it or I would dupe it. I also love the color scheme this month: lavender eyes with coral cheeks. I would not have put this combo together on my own but it looks so nice for spring. Most used face products: I’ve been mixing my Prescriptives Flawless Skin foundation with a drop of Cover FX Custom Enhancer Drops in Sunkissed ( the foundation is just a touch too light and too neutral). The enhancer drops actually enhance the wear time of my foundation and help it not to break apart on the oily parts of my combination skin. I have started dipping into MAC’s blush in Pinch Me, but I am often tempted by Fleeting Romance, which sits adjacent to Pinch Me in my MAC blush palette. Fleeting Romance is probably the prettiest blush I’ve ever worn, it is so beautiful with my skin tone.

I actually don’t like the Revlon Cream Eyeshadows as much as I thought I would. But! They’re decent.
They aren’t super pigmented, but I’ve mostly been using 2 light shades: Creme Brûlée & Praline.
I would say go for it if it’s on sale and with a coupon, lol. That’s how I bought mine. I would recommend them to friends who don’t like bold makeup or prefer quick & easy makeup!
Quick take: easy to use, cream to powder, semi-buildable, brightening, doesn’t crease (but I don’t really have a crease, lol), wears well throughout the day.

Most used face/cheek product this month? I use my Color FX little stick in lavender and EL BB Cream under my makeup every day to set the tone and begin smoothing things out — that’s the boring stuff. In terms of color, I’ve reached the most for my Hourglass blush in Diffused Heat. (An inveterate mixer, today I used a bit of MAC Melba then the Hourglass on top and it was nice.)
Most used eye product this month? No doubt, Chanel Empreinte du Desert quad. Late to this quad party, but I’m all in. 🙂
Isn’t it just the most fantastic eyeshadow quad, Linda. When I first looked at it in-store, I started to walk away because I wasn’t all that thrilled with how it looked but I went about 15 steps and then thought “Heck, I’m in the mood to buy SOMETHING” – it really was that sort of impulse purchase but it’s been one of my fave purchases in recent years. I don’t know what I’ll do if/when I finish it (maybe I’ll have to come to your house and steal yours!). Chanel really would be wise to make it permanent/bring it back.

There is only one other shadow experience I had like this. It was back in early 80s with a Dior quad — gold, blue, a deepish maroon and something else. It looked great and I used that thing until it was gone. I still think about it, and would buy it again in a flash. This time with the Chanel, I got a backup on ebay. First time EVER doing that. Yep, obsessed. 🙂

I’ve only tried Rosegold and it’s a great everyday nude shade. It’s semi-opaque, it evens out the discoloration on my lids and adds a bit of glow. It’s perfect for those days when I don’t have time to do much but still want to look polished!
I LOVE MAC Tutu!!! It’s gorgeous, especially in the inner corner, it just glows so beautifully!

Do you use your Vintage Selection as a base for looks or on its own? I’ve tried to wear it as a “one and done” all over shadow, but it really didn’t show up that much on my eyes (which is weird because I am pale as a ghost!)
I only use Vintage Selection as a shimmery base for eyeshadows. Otherwise, it wouldn’t have much “pop” to the eyelid that I like!
Skin tone: Warm fair/light
Face/check products: nars Talia contour palette. Love the finely milled powders. The highlight color is not a highlight though, I use it as a blush and it’s the perfect nude blush.
Eye products: the balm nude dude palette. I’m trying to go through it fast.

Favourite product this month: Tony Moley Petite Bunny Gloss bar in the shade, something cherry! It’s already sheer and shiny, but I love to put a thick layer of lip balm on, then apply a thick layer of this tinted balm on top. And it’s a nice almost glossy tinted hint of colour on my lips!
Favourite face/cheek product: NARS Sin! Iv been LOVING it, for the perfect gold shimmered berry flush/blush. It’s a beautiful look on me! imo!
Favourite eye product this month: I bet this will shock NONE of you, but my favourite eye product this month was the modern renaissance palette! Iv used it EVERY day since I got it! Im in LOVE.
My skin tone/coloring confuses me at times. Thanks to freckles (mostly on my cheeks) and redness in some areas, and also having a neck that’s paler than my face, people usually struggle to color match me. I don’t look good in yellow/orange/brown clothing so I think it’s definitely cool or neutral leaning toward cool. I still sometimes do warm eye looks with reddish and plum shades that complement my green eyes.
My favorite product this month…I think it’s a tie between my Naked Ultimate Basics and Naked 2 palettes from Urban Decay…I just got them this month, and it’s been fun to experiment with them.
My favorite face/cheek products this month: I am really enjoying the Tarte blush that came in the Sephora birthday gift (my birthday is in December, but they ran out of the 2016 gift and gave me the 2017 Tarte one instead). It’s nice and subtle. I’m also happy with a Lorac Spotlight highlighter sample I’ve had for a while now, but just started using it.
Most used eye product: As I said, the two UD palettes have really been the favorites, but I’ll also add in my Makeup Geek eyeshadows that get a good amount of use: especially Vanilla Bean, Peach Smoothie, and Barcelona Beach. I just ordered some more MUG eyeshadows in nude colors. All the mattes and nudes I’ve gotten this month led to buying the UD Electric Palette. 🙂

Favorite product this month: Babor Super Soft Eye Shadow Duo (Nude). Gorgeous duo for the eyes, half mat, half shimmery. The eyeshadows are so buttery and silky. They feel like a cream upon touch but they apply like a powder. Babor products are made in Germany.
Most used face/cheek product this month: Inglot AMC Face Blush (Liquid) in shade 93 (rosy-peachy shade). It is a liquid blush but it dries fast and it’s not tacky.
Most used lip product this month: Inglot AMC Lip Pencil Matte in 24 (MLBB).
