Storage Solutions: How-to Store Your Brushes
Sephora Brand Makeup Artist Brush Belt Make Up Artist Brush Belt ($42.00) This is a nifty way to store all of your brushes in one fell swoop. You can wear it around your waist for easy grab and go. You might even feel like a bit of a super hero 🙂 If you don’t have quite as many brushes as the image above, you can probably roll it up, too!Otherwise, if yours is so full, you just fold it in half and call it a day.
Check out another brush storage solution…
Make Up For Ever Dany Kit ($35.00) This is a brush canister/case. It reminds me a lot of a pencil case (and by all means, seek out a back-to-school pencil case instead for a cheaper alternative). These are also really great for travel. The big drawback for these is simply they’re not that large, so you might need multiple ones or different solutions for all of your brushes.
Aw I’ve been looking for a belt like that but I don’t think Sephora ships to Ireland! 🙁
🙁 BOO!
I know that brush belts are really convenient since they can be worn around the waist.. but oh my! They are pricey!
What I do (especially since I’m an art student) is buy cheap brush rolls/brush cases used for storing paint brushes… and then I clean them (even though they’re new) so that I know they’re safe to use for storing my make up brushes. They have exactly what a brush belt has – all the slots and holds designed for brushes. Just not the belt itself! But that’s okay with me since I won’t be wearing it as a belt anyways 😛
Good idea! I’m going to check the craft store next time i’m in there. I use a lot of artists’ brushes for makeup too, they are wonderful and SO much cheaper than MAC brushes!
I use a few myself! 🙂 I do prefer my MAC ones, though – they’re just a lil’ softer.
That’s true, they can be pricey! I had one, but I just didn’t have a place to store it, so I turned to canisters instead myself.
Great idea, Viv!
I would definitely feel like superwoman wearing that belt
🙂
Haha ;D
