Dior Spring 2011 Makeup Collection - Montaigne

Dior Spring 2011 Makeup Collection – Montaigne

Inspired by the elegance and refinement of Christian Dior’s original Paris boutique at 30 Avenue Montaigne, Dior’s new spring color collection features the iconic greys of the House of Dior paired with fresh, feminine shades of pink. In a very Parisian spirit, the new spring look incorporates the all tones of Avenue Montaigne on a perfect spring evening: smoky and pearly grey eyes subtly enhanced with powdery touches of baby and boudoir pink and a natural glowing complexion. The overall effect is very soft, very sophisticated and very Dior.

am i the only one who thinks that Dior’s collections and looks never change, dont get me wrong i love it very classy and elegant look but the should add a tad more of spice NARS-it-UP a bit…

I thought the collection this spring would be neon colours like at the catwal. Although I am glad they are not neon, I think this collection is a bit too plain.

Love the colors in the photo. I love the cool colors & am hoping I can wear some of the shadows for daytime. Can’t wait to see all of them–thanks for posting!

To me, it just looks like a cooler version of Chanel’s fall Enigma collection or perhaps it’s more like the L’Wren holiday collection but with lighter lips. In any event, it doesn’t seem very innovative. As pretty as it is, it seems out of sync with the season for which it’s intended.

I think the model looks old.. Everyone one the Diors promo look old.. :/ The make up looks good, but it looks the same as Dior always have.

And the collection.. Just.. Nothing we haven´t seen before.

And thats my opinion.

Any news about the launching date? I’m gonna be super broke this 2 months. First, there will be MAC releasing 2 collections at a time (Cham Pale and Stylishly Yours). Then Chanel is gonna release their Spring 2011 in Jan. Expecting Dior to release theirs around that time too.

Sorry, but I thought that this was for winter too! Why so smokey colours AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN… Jesus! Not anymore! Too cool tones for me but could use something more vibrant for spring that is coming…!
