What?! How do you make brushes whiter?! I use baby shampoo on my brushes about once a week or two. They are white but not as white as they first were when I bought them!

p.s…which cleansing oil do you use for removing make up??!!!

Before beauty blogs, I used to use sponges and sponge applicators for face and eye makeup. Since then, I use only brushes to apply my makeup. Best decision I ever made, hands down. The net best thing I learned is how truly important eye primers are. I could never wear eye makeup without it!

I thought that was kinda gross when I saw that as a tip but lo and behold I forgot my blotting papers and powder and was out and getting all shiny and I ended up doing this, lol! I grabbed one from the back and tore off a piece and it worked. Of course someone walked in while I was doing this in front of the mirror but since I only had a scrap it didn’t look too crazy.

the best I learned is so embarrassing but I only learned about using eye lid/shadow primer from blogs. I’ve been in the dark on this one for such a long time!!!

I’ve learned lots of make up looks but the best tip was from Clumps of Mascara. She showed me that if I cut my UDPP open there’s SO much product left in the container. LOVE IT! Genius.

I use highlight and contour more often then blush myself since I’m always trying to hide my flushed checks/sides of my face. ^_^ I wouldn’t be so bad if it wouldn’t be so bad if it was just the apples but it gets red from my check bone down to my jawline and it not flattering. lol

I pretty much learned everything I know about makeup from blogs and youtube. 😉

• White or nude eye liner on you waterline to look more awake.
• Using Jojoba oil as a makeup remover as well as a leave in conditioner for your hair ends.
• using grease pencils or paints to intensify powder eyeshadows.
• the plop and plunk method for letting curly hair dry.

I get so much enjoyment out of beauty blogs! The best tips I’ve learned:
– Use eyeshadow primer
– Using brushes to apply eye makeup takes your look to a new level
– Apply a highlight color such as Shroom to the the inner corner of your eye to brighten your face and make you look more awake
– Think of makeup as a hobby or a collection

The best thing I’ve learned is that makeup is fun! Seriously. I hated makeup, thought it was the most boring and shallow thing in the world, and only wore it to conceal flaws until I was 26 or 27 and accidentally discovered the world of beauty blogs and Youtube gurus. Now, well…I’m here aren’t I? 😉

Using jojoba oil as an overnight moisturizer. It’s such a multi-tasker, too. I use jojoba oil to tame frizzy hair, treat dry spots, and even condition my makeup brushes.

to put my de-puffing eye roller on at night before I go to bed; when I wake up, the puffs are’nt there, with no wait time for the stuff to work 🙂

castor oil on eyebrows make them grow.
stippling brush is invaluable when applying foundation and cream blushes
eyelash curler is not a necessity
simplicity is always in.

Washing my brushes with antibacterial dish soap and olive oil is the BEST beauty tip I’ve ever received. It not only disinfects, but it gives the brushes moisturizer and helps them from shedding/drying out!

Michelle Phan has a video on it! It works very well, I prefer it to brush cleanser – much better value too! Alternatively, many people use baby shampoo as opposed to washing-up liquid(uk)/ dish soap. 🙂

1) Setting my eye liner with an eyeshadow
2) Using an NW concealer to cover blue under eye circles and NC concealer to cover red spots/blemishes

A few: Using shadow primer is a MUST; using the right brush to apply liquid foundation, using a concealer brush to apply concealer and to “highlight” the NL lines and other areas that need more light.

I learned my favorite tip from you, Christine! You taught me how to make my own mixing medium. I also bought Ricepaper eyeshadow after seeing it used in many of your looks. I love it!

I’m learned sooooo much from forums and blogs! The top three being applying my eye makeup before anything else, small brands, and mineral foundation.

Eyeshadow primer- TFSI not udpp
Tubing mascara
Cleansing oil
Different concealer for eye bags than blemishes
Loads of other things like Lipstick Quedn Medieval, EL DW

Thanks to beauty bloggers I now use face and eye primers, which are a godsend for my oily skin, and apply/blend my makeup with the right brushes. I also learned that I look better in warm colors than cool ones.

All the good things that TCA peels can do for my aging and sun-damaged skin: they’re fantastic (once I got over the initial fear) and really do reverse the damage!!
