Cool Down with Mary Jane!

Urban Decay Mary Jane Eyeshadow ($17.00 for 0.05 oz.) is a steely blue with a frost finish. It’s a pale, icy blue with a silver sheen–perfect for the cooler season and for brightening up eyes. Mary Jane has a very soft, smooth texture with rich pigmentation. Easily one of my favorite Urban Decay eyeshadows!  This is a stunning example of why Urban Decay’s eyeshadows are often listed as readers’ favorites–especially if you love yourself some color.

I’ve found Mary Jane to be one of the most pigmented shadows ever made. Very nice with Adore on the outer lid and crease, Vapor under the browbone, and Deviant 24/7 liner.

My thought EXACTLY! I love MAC’s Tilt. It’s the only powder blue-gray that doesn’t turn ‘ashy’ on me. This color from UD I’d have to try on first but from looking at it, doesn’t make me want to kick my Tilt to the curb…

I have MAC’s Moon’s Reflection & Tilt-I think im good & dont need another of this particular shade.I do love UD shadows though,ty for the review.

sorry for the random question Christine; but emergency shopping list from MAC required. what blush would you recommend for a warm toned nc32? i love glowy, shimmery cheeks and which blushcremes would pop? which of the following would you recommend from ladyblush, virgin isle and posey? thanks!

Thank you, Christine! I’ve been wanting this color for several reasons [i.e. it seems pretty, I want an Urban Decay eyeshadow, and the name- hehe], so I think I will definitely check it out now 🙂

Such a pretty blue, but shades like this turn a weird muddy gray on me. I stick with Strip, which is a bit more silver, but it stays the right color on me.

I think this is one UD’s best colors. I am surprised it does not get more attention. I don’t think it looks like tilt at all. Its way more silver. It’s like silver but with a blue tone to it so it looks good paired with dark blues like deep truth. But not the kind of tacky blue that I think tilt and moons reflection looks like.
