Sponsored: Bergdorf Goodman Rewarding Beauty Event & Limited Edition Picks!
Bergdorf Goodman just kicked off their Rewarding Beauty event, where you can receive up to $200 off your beauty purchase with code BEAUTY, now through 12/4. There have been a lot of launches this year, but here are some of my top picks for holiday sets and limited edition shades from Bergdorf Goodman:
Tom Ford Soleil Lip Color
Tom Ford Soleil Lip Color ($53.00 for 0.10 oz.) is a new, limited edition metallic lipstick available in six shades. If you love your Tom Ford lipstick and shimmery, lightly metallized finishes, I think you’ll quite enjoy the new Soleil Lip Foils. My top two picks are Aperture and Seadragon!

Guerlain Rouge Saphir Rouge G
Guerlain Rouge Saphir Rouge G ($56.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a bright, medium-dark pink-red with cooler undertones and a natural finish. It’s a specially packaged Rouge G with a blue “jewel” as the clasp, while the rest of the packaging is the same signature Rouge G component. The formula is supposed to be hydrating and pigmented, which it is. The Rouge G formula has been a long-time favorite for me, and I wasn’t disappointed with the performance of this year’s holiday shade at all.

Guerlain Perles du Legende Meteorites
Guerlain Perles du Legende Meteorites ($65.00 for 0.80oz.) is a translucent, gold-sparkled finishing powder. It is dominated by a lot of smaller gold pearls with a few larger pink and minty green pearls, and when I swatched and used it, it was mostly a translucent, yellowish powder with gold micro-sparkle. I think those who enjoy using this product and aren’t as concerned about a noticeable effect will be happy with their purchase.

Estee Lauder x Victoria Beckham Eye Palette
Estee Lauder x Victoria Beckham Eye Palette ($95.00 for 0.25 oz.) contains six, shimmery eyeshadows that feature a wet/dry powder formula. I think if you like more pigmented eyeshadows that are blendable and wear well, you will enjoy this palette. The formula was soft, smooth, and finely-milled and felt almost velvety to the touch, as it didn’t kick up powder but wasn’t really dense or cream-like either.

Laura Mercier Layer Up Set
Laura Mercier Layer Up Set ($38.00 for 0.12 oz.) includes four miniature sized Caviar Sticks, which are cream eyeshadows in twist-up, jumbo pencil form. The brand’s holiday set is a great way to try several shades without having to purchase them individually. These are ideal for someone who uses a cream base or likes one or two-shade looks.

Bobbi Brown Highlighting Powder
Bobbi Brown Highlighting Powder ($46.00 for 0.28 oz.) is a new, limited edition highlighting powder with “high-impact, buildable radiance.” The texture was very soft and smooth, while it had a firmer feel to it overall, so it seems like a product that would take awhile to get through, but the firmness didn’t make it hard to apply or get color payoff out of the powder. It had medium, buildable coverage, which is in line with the brand’s description of the formula. It’s available in three, limited edition shades.

Tom Ford Lips & Boys Holiday 2016
Tom Ford Lips & Boys ($36.00 for 0.07 oz.) are back with 25 new shades (plus, 25 previously released shades to complete the next year’s set of 50). They’re miniature-sized Lipsticks in a range of shimmers, creams, and mattes. Some of my favorites from the new shades are: Ashton, Mitchell, Snowdon, Ryan, and Elliot.

simplehuman Sensor Mirror Pro
simplehuman Sensor Mirror Pro ($250.00) is the latest and greatest in the brand’s mirror family. I’m so, so pleased with what they’ve done to improve in the latest model, because I feel like they addressed the major issue I had with the original as well as a disappointment in a lack of features–and for the price point, I wanted to love it through and through. It’s a large, 5x magnifying mirror that comes with a smaller, magnetic 10x mirror with a ring of light along the outer edge of the larger, 5x magnifying mirror. It’s available in stainless steel as well as a new, rose gold hue (which I’d say is not quite as coppery or as warm-toned as most rose gold jewelry).

Jack Black Balm Squad
Jack Black Balm Squad ($25.00) contains four different scented Lip Balms. This has been a long-time favorite formula for me–I have gone through dozens of tubes since I tried it! I always pick up their holiday set to help replenish my stock!

Tom Ford Cream Color for Eyes
Tom Ford Cream Color for Eyes ($45.00 for 0.17 oz.) is one of my all-time favorite cream eyeshadows (and it’s always limited edition!). Some of my favorite shades are Platinum, Spice, and Burnished Copper.
The ELVB for those who missed it. Nice. Bergie’s always has a good selection. I’m fortunate NOT to have one nearby, or my plastic is. How is their online service/policy?
I have had good luck! I had a bronzer arrive shattered, and they resent it and overnighted it – no fuss at all!
Seadragon is so beautiful. But too expensive, sadly. I wish there was a strong metallic dupe.
It is a gorgeous color!
Great set of recommendations, Christine! Appreciate the compilation along with the category recommendations published earlier. Have yet to get the VBxEL eyeshadow palette – will be in my hands soon. ?
My pleasure as always, Tracey! 🙂
Hi Christine!
When I click on the dupe list for Seadragon it’s saying the price is only $0.10 (don’t we WISH haha). I’m really considering splurging on Seadragon and Aperture – I always agree with your top picks as my favorite too!! Quick question, do you think MAC’s new I Get So OOC is as complex as Aperture?
Fixed – I had the price and size switched for some reason.
Aperture has more nuance to it – I would say I Get So OOC is more metallic overall, though.
