I’d put it on the lid, making a really dark eye makeup, black eyeshadow on the crease and on the outter V.
A lot of black mascara -maybe false lashes- and a light pencil in the waterline and under the brow bone -to illuminate the eye-.
I’d put some Hoola all over the face, just to contour, and a nude-goldish lipstick.

Michelle Avatar

I think I would do a sheer/shimmery neutral all over the lid and use this pigment as a winged liner on top, and maybe a gold liner on bottom or the water line. It’d be great for a sophisticated yet fun holiday party look for work!

nat Avatar

Of course, I would use it as an eyeshadow. But I think it would look really cool if you mix it with a clear gloss. A look for Halloween. Instead of wearing a black lip color for a witch, why not use a dark green lip color?

Thincspot Avatar

I would use antique green as a French tip on my nails with the new Earthly Harmony polish that MAC just released. Metallic pigments are awesome as nail color.

elizabeth Avatar

id use it wet as eyeliner on days i go to class, wet with some glitter for a green halloween smokey eye, and occasionally when i am going outin different looks!

Beryl Avatar

I’ll use this one as an eyeshadow, either on the lid with dark brown/grey on the crease, or neutral light beige/naked pigment on the lid with antique green on the crease. I think this one is pretty neutral and versatile.

Kim Keller Avatar

I love greens! I can think of a ton of ways to use MAC’s Antique Green pigment. How about Gorgeous Gold on the inner corner, Antique Green on the lid, with Parfait Amour in the crease? Or Amber Lights on the lid, Bronze in the crease, Espresso lightly in the outer V, and Antique Green as lower liner.

Nadia Avatar

Antique Green is such a fab color that I’ll use it alone with a touch of naked lunch into the inner corner… mascara and some black pencil underneath. there you go!

Rebecca Avatar

i would use it with a mixing medium on my lids to really bring out the colour and change the texture. pair it with a lighter green and a black in the outer corner 🙂

Kathy Avatar

Oh wow, there’s a lot of cool things to do with this pigment. I’d use it as a crease color, as an eyeliner (I’d have to apply it wet in that case), and as a nail polish!

Maggie Avatar

I’d love to use Antique Green in a green smokey eye! I love doing smokey looks in colors other than black/gray, and this would be a gorgeous one 🙂

Kajsa/Monticka Avatar

I’d use it together with Urban decay Graffiti on the lid and Antique green in the crease. And then darken the whole thing up with Carbon.
Graffiti is my favorite eyeshadow of all time!

RT’ed, nickname: Monticka

Mimi Avatar

I’d pop it over the deep green pigment from the moonlit jewels quad by revlon. Then I would apply a matte brown (Loreal HIP duo in Poppy) in the crease, then layer a matte black from my coastal scents palette for a deeper night look. Black winged eye-liner as well, and my new fave mascara, covergirl lashblast fusion.

Julianna M. Avatar

In the crease with a toasty golden color. A nice antique-y look to set off my green eyes. I’d also use it as nailpolish (loooooooove dark greens)

Molly Avatar

I would do a deep smokey greenish look using: Blackground paintpot on the lid, Antique Green pigment in/above the crease, Dark Soul pigment on the crease and lower lashline, then Deep Blue Green pigment on the lid and lower lashline and Vanilla pigment as a highlight 🙂

Ricci Avatar

OOoooh this is one of my fave pigments . I only have a sample of it ,,, but this color looks wonderful with my brown/black eyes..
I would apply a bit of a silver pigment..

Nadia Avatar

I’d use it all over the lid with Retrospeck in the inner corner. Then I’d add a matte shade like Cork just to blend it out and add some definition to my crease.

Shannon Avatar

I would use Sumptuously Olive on the lid, Antique Green in the crease and Treat Me Nice eyeliner & Bisque at the brow. Good luck everyone 🙂

RUTHIE IZHAR Avatar

I WOULD USE AS A BASE GREENSTROKE PP; THEN COMBINE THIS PIGMENT WITH PASTORALE PIGMENT ON THE INTIRE LID AND ANTIQUE GREEN IN THE CREASE AND OUTER V. LOVE THIS SHADE OF GREEN AND GREENS IN GENERAL, ALTHOUGH I HAVE GREEN EYES!

April Avatar

I would use it as liner all around the eye and smoke it out with black e/s and mascara. I would then use Smitten lipgloss (smashbox) and madly blush by NARS.

Kat Avatar

I’d blend it with a dark shade like Carbon on the outer V and in the crease for a super dramatic look. For a more subtle look I’d use it only as an eyeliner with just a hint of gold all over the lid. I’d also love to try the nailpolish idea 😉

Lisa Avatar

It’s so so gourgeous!! I think I would use it as eye liner or to make a nail polish.. Or even to darken the crease, combined with a sage eye shadow. Or simply as eye shadow, a smokey wuold look amazing 😀

Ashley Avatar

There are so many ways to use a color like this! It would make an amazing crease color or just a full lid color. I find this to be a color I’d use more than others I have. Green looks amazing with my skin and I don’t have one like this. This would make a great fall color!

Casey Avatar

I’d use Antique Green on the lower lashline, with a neutral smokey eye on the upper lid. Perfect for fall! And I definitely wont forget to use it with my beloved Feline eye kohl ;D

Kim Avatar

i like to wear duochrome-like pigments alone, just packed on the lid and then buffed out in the crease, so you can see the dynamics of the colors. i’d definitely try antique green this way to see what happened!

Michelle Thao Avatar

love dark lids so i would use it all over the lid and use either a light brown or gold on the crease to transition the color into the highlight color. if don’t use it that way, maybe mix it with a clear gloss and use it as a lipgloss for a halloween look!

Lacey Avatar

Maybe not the most original, but I’d pair with gold on the lid, bronze, cranberry, or a berry-purple in the crease, and use AG as an outer V or liner. Love those colors in the fall.

molliee Avatar

I would use it as an eyeliner or maybe for a weekend green eye! i’ve never had a mac pigment but id love to have one 😀 love your youtube videos and your blog
~ mollie 🙂

auroragyps Avatar

I’d use UD Shattered on the lid and Antique Green lightly in the outer corner & crease. I’d line the bottom lid with UD 24/7 liner in Covet.

Reza in StL Avatar

I’d use Antique Green Pigment in the crease with a gold/bronze eye look. And the lovely brown liquid liner from the Fabulous Felines release!

Jennifer Avatar

Oh this color is so versatile. I would wear it as an eyeliner, the main eyelid color for a green smokey eye, a crease color, a nail polish. So many things can be done with this beautiful color. 🙂

Alis Avatar

I recently discovered a sight called ‘Frankenpolish’ where the author uses pigments and whatnot to create new polish colors…I would definitely like to mix this pigments with some of the polishes I own to see how it turns out 😛

Nicole Avatar

There is so many ways you could use this, definitely on the eye with some gold, and dark browney-gold shadows. Nailpolish, and I even think it would be cool on the face for a Halloweeen look. Maybe if you were going for a stylish zombie look, I would love to see it as that.

Meheen Avatar

I’d use it on the lower lash line, outer V, crease, or as a liner. Or if I was feeling bold, on the lid with a black in the crease for a smokey look.

Nikki Avatar

I’d use it in the crease for a green smokey eye, especially because my brown eyes have a hint of hazel. Also, for photoshoots because I love to incorporate nature-inspired makeup into them!

redambition Avatar

I could definitely see this pigment used in a dramatic eye look. I’d start with Antique Green at the outer corner in a sharp, large cats-eye shape, slowly fading it into some Shroom eye shadow as it comes in towards the inner third, with a little more Antique Green blended into the inner corner. Black liquid liner added in a cats-eye shape with a swooping wing at that outer corner, with a touch of shroom also added in as the highlight. Plenty of volumising mascara, of course, with false lashes added if extra drama is wanted! Brows would be sharply groomed and made to look as angular as possible.

Gentle contouring of the face to add shape with little to no blush, and a nude-y pink lipstick to suit the lips but give them a slight flush of colour to complete the look.

Danielle Avatar

There are so many ways I would use this!

definitely a nail polish
a nice thick liner
in a smoky look on the crease
straight on the lid

the possibilities are endless! I love this color!

heather Avatar

I love to use Antique Green as a shadow, I apply gold satin shadow first then mix Antique Green with medium that can make like eyeliner, then I apply Antique Green as very thick with cat’s eye looking which is looks like 80’s make up.

Chrissie Avatar

I would use this in the crease for a smokey green eye and the beige shade in NARS Rajasthan eyeshadow duo on the inner eyelid or use it wet for a green cat eye

Carmen Avatar

I would use Antique Green piggie in the outer third of the lid with Rate R on the inner lid. I would bring it all together with a dark blue shadow like Nehru or Contrast in the crease and the lower lash line.

Miss Silver Avatar

I’d use it with a mixing medium as an eyeliner for a cats eye look. Love green, love cats eye, and this is absolutely perfect for that. 😀

kim Avatar

I would use Antique Green over a black base all over the lid with a touch of golden yellow in the tear duct. Added with a rosy color blush and some pinky nude/natural lipgloss

Vlcatko Avatar

I would pair it with Lithe pigment (Lithe all over, Antique Green in the outer corner and crease) and Treat Me Nice superslick liquid eyelier 🙂

Eniko Doring Avatar

I would definetley create a wild smokey eye with it, nothing too complicated, just a dark base, antiqe green, and a nude shimmer as a highlight.

Joanna Avatar

I’d use Antique Green on my lower lash line. Hmmm, I’ve never thought of using pigment as nailpolish but looking at these comments, think I’ll give that a try 🙂

Lyndsay Avatar

I’d use it as a wash across the lids with a deep brown in the crease or I’d mix some with clear polish to create a deep green polish. It looks dead on some of the greens we’ve been seeing for fall polishes.

kat Avatar

i would put a sheer wash of it over my eye lids then take cork and place that into your crease then take some liquid eyeliner and do a very dramatic cat eye…………………then on your lips put the best cherry red lip color you have and you have 1950″s Barbie!!!!!

Hope Angela Avatar

With a MAC 208 Brush i would take Deep Blue Green and apply it as a thick winged liner with Chanel Sand eyeshadow on the lid, on the cheeks i would put MAC Blush of Youth beauty powder all over my cheeks, and then MAC Enough Said beauty powder blush as a contour/bronzer.

For my lips i would take MAC Hue lipstick & NARS Turkish Delight as a gloss..

Thanks so much for the contest Christine

Natalia Avatar

Hi ! I would use it for giving a more glow-ish look to my eyes , combined with a green-olive eyeshadow on the outer 2/3 part of my lid . I would place the pigment onto the inner 1/3 of my lid. Into the criese I would apply a yellow shadow to blend the green-olive one out!

Good luck to everyone ! 😀

Lyza H Avatar

This pigment would make a really great smokey eye paired with some other greens from the Coastal Scents 88 Metal Mania palette!
With some gel black eyeliner that would be totally fall/winter hot. =]

Petra Avatar

I think i’s use it blended out for a smokey eye look, or maybe try pairing it with some red toned browns, like Glamour Check, Mulled Cider, Gold Stroke, and a nude-rosey lip. Hm, maybe even a coral lip!

Allie Avatar

I’d definitely use it for a take on Poison Ivy I’ve been thinking about doing for Halloween, probably on the outer v and crease. Then I think nails too. Lips would probably be a dark red.

Anita Avatar

Oooh, with Pixie Epoxy as part of a smokey eye. I’d pair it with Woodwinked and Smut, and use it in the crease. I’d then use black eye liner, skip the mascara and have a muted plum glossy lip and minimal blush to even out the face. oooooh this is a gorgeous colour!!!

alyssa Avatar

poison ivy costume for halloween. Mac amber lights on the lid, gold mode pigment in the inner corner, antique green in the crease, blending and extending it out super far, past the eyebrow (length-wise), and smudged out underneath the eye to high heaven. paired with dollymix on the cheeks and ample pink plush glass.

pharaoh_ducky Avatar

I’d use it as a blush or contour for my face. Lol jk. I’d probably use it to accent nail polish, as eyeliner, or in the crease. Maybe on my lips if it was Halloween.

Vale Avatar

I would go for a smokey make up. Lids completely black, with this pigment put over the black in the firsts 2/3 of the lid starting from the inner V. Then vapour as highliter!
Vale

Alessandra Avatar

I’d use it in the crease with a light green on the lid (like Graffiti from UD) and a black eyeliner on the waterline, a coat of YSL Faux Cils et voila!!

Jamie J Avatar

I’d use MAC fix it plus and pack that beautiful color onto my lid, with MAC Defiantly Feline Superslick Liquid Eye Liner it would look totally gorgeous!!!

Kristen Avatar

Def. as a crease color. I don’t think I can pull off such a dark shade all over my lid.
Tap the glitter off of UD’s Urb on the lid with the green pigment in the crease . 🙂

Kim Smith Avatar

I am a green fanatic. I would place burgandy all over the crease and wear the Antique green in the outer V blended out soflty and connect under the lower eye. I would use a light green with shimmer on the lid and in the 1st 1/3 under the eye, I would finish this off with Mac vanilla on the brow bone.
I think burgandies and dark greens have a nice smokey effect.

Natalie Avatar

I would pair it with A glossy cool neutral lip. I have this great gloss from Lancome called Mesmeric. It’s absolutely gorgeous, but would put the focus on the eyes. Thanks for the chance to win!

Elisabet Avatar

I’m going as a witch and this would be apart of my halloween makeup!! I would prime my lids with a dark/black primer and blend out following with carbon on top. I would then take antiqued green and blend it into my crease and up. Line my eyes with a black eyeliner, tightline and waterline too. Then I would smoke out antiqued green below my bottom lashes along with a lighter green for an added POP! of color. Lots of mascara and false lashes would finish off the look.

The miaomi Avatar

NARS cream eye shadow – Nomad on the lids
Antique green smoked out on outer corners
Stila Gold Glows gold on inner corners
TheBalm Hot Mama on the cheeks
MAC Fulfilled on the lips

Abigail Avatar

I’d do a golden bronze eye with some brown smoking in the crease and throw together a little Antique Green and Fix Plus and use it as an eyeliner for the lower lash line. It would be an awesome balance of warms and cools.

Amber Avatar

I’d use Antique Green as a heavy wash all over the lid, Sketch eyeshadow on the lower lashline, completed with a neutral lip (maybe just a gloss). And mascara to make it pop, of course!

Amber Avatar

I’d use this as a heavy wash all over the lid, Sketch on the lower lashline, and a neutral lip, maybe just a gloss. And mascara to make it pop of course.

Kathy Avatar

I would use this as a nail polish! I have been dying for a green nail color. I would also use this on my crease with MAC’s Bronze or Bronzescape on the lid.

ledonatella Avatar

I am dying for this to be used in the crease with a lighter green on the lid and a light gold-beige shade for a highlighter (not sure which ones yet, i want to play around a bit!)

Cayla Avatar

In a smokey look, I’d use AntiqueGreen on the lid, MAC Club or BurmeseBeauty in the crease, a matte dark brown in the outer V & MAC Mystery eye kohl on the lower lashline & waterline =)
Or as nail polish!
I love teals & darker greens!!!

Justme Avatar

I have a sample of antique green and fell in love with it!I love to wear it over a black baseor wet and smoke it out dry in the edges. In the inner corner I love to pair it with gold or Museum Bronze Pigment
