I always pick up the Caviar stick holiday kit, but I’m not sure about black in this year’s set. I rarely use the darkest colors in the kits. Hmm. Decisions, decisions!
Right? Black – I guess as a thick eyeliner smudged out on the lash line. I really wouldn’t know what else to do with it. I’m bummed.
Black is a great liner — just use a brush. This is a great little kit.
I also use the tuxedo to tightline.
Oh bummer, I look forward to the Caviar sets every year, but I already have 2 of the shades so can’t justify it
I’m in the same boat on this one!
Same!!! I wish she’d included new colors
I’m such a sucker for value sets and I think that Caviar Eye Stick is going on my wishlist this year!
It all looks so good! Any plans on reviewing these? Looks like a lot of work…
I wish the Caviar Sticks set had different colors. Three of those are repeats from last year. Maybe this is the company’s way of telling me that I should actually just buy full sizes.
I bought the Masterclass Colour Essentials Collection last year and this post inspired me to break it out and use it-these shadows are so pretty! I would probably buy this year’s palette, except that the shadows actually remind me of more muted versions of the Viseart theory palettes, which I own. Also, Etoile and Minx were in last year’s Essential Collection, so not much of a value there for me. The Double Impact Eye Colour Collection palette looks really pretty. I’d love to own more Laura Mercier matte eyeshadows, so maybe it would be a good value? But I have a feeling that between last year’s Essentials Collection and the Viseart Theory palettes I could dupe every one of those colors. I’m kind of sad about that. If that second row of the Double Impact Eye Colour palette were more blue I would get it. Am I the only one who loves blue eyeshadow, especially when it’s muted down by browns?
No you aren’t alone Nicole blue eye shadow is one of my favorites. And brown contrasts well, makes my brown eyes pop! I also own Viseart palettes with similar colors also.
I like the Caviar stick range and some of those cheek and eye palettes. I think you have to check them out in person to see if the shades are what they seem on screen and their quality. But these are really lovely.
If we get these, I might get the caviarstick set. I don’t have any, and they seem to be very good. I only have one palette from LM and I’m not impressed with it. These palettes aren’t really tempting, I think they are quite dupeable. I must contradict myself, as I do think the Going Glam set could be really nice. Depending on performance, of course. The lip set, Kiss of Shine looks nice as well.
Soon I’ll spend hours at the counters happily swatching away 🙂
The Caviar Stick set looks good.
Several of these are on my list. Sephora, here I come.
I picked up the caviar eye stick set today. I can never resist that one== as long as it contains the amethyst one. The eye color palette looks interesting but I already have 2 of her others. I am passing on everything else. There were years that I overindulged in LM holiday offerings, but when I recently found last year’s unopened, ungifted soufflé set in my closet, I decided I ‘d better cool it this season.
I haven’t used up my Caviar Sticks from last years holiday set. I need to wear them. I’m digging the Going Glam palette. Looks like a good hoilday collection.
I was thinking about that Caviar stick set until I saw there was a black inside. I don’t have much use for black in a stick form.
I was just thinking about LM’s body collections this morning and wondering when the holiday gift sets would be out 🙂 I’ll definitely get the Ambre Vanille one as that’s one of my favourites. It’s such a gorgeous scent. Christine, I am in awe of how much reviewing you’ve done this week, and I want to THANK YOU so much for all your hard work. You’ve really helped me with my holiday gift-buying list!
