I love Fresh’s sets but I feel like every year it’s the same offerings. I wish they’d come up with some real holiday exclusive products or something 🙁
$218 ? are they joking….. For lip balm that melts in your purse and breaks easily. ?

No, I totally understand, but I wanted to contextualize the price, because it is a good value for the brand/its price point, but of course you do not have to buy it or think it is worth it yourself.
Mo – that’s been my experience with these lip balms too….they melt sitting in a drawer and break off at the base, even though I don’t twist them up. I find there isn’t much difference between the colourless one I have and the tinted one. I find there are products that perform as well and aren’t so “high maintenance” at much lower price points. I do like their twist on lids, though (if they still have those – it’s been so long since I’ve purchased one…)
I’d totally go for the Black Tea set if it didn’t have the cleanser. Add in another black tea item and I’d get it. It’s one of my favorite line of skincare!
Totally agree! Seems like they always throw in the soy cleanser and I I’m not really a fan. I love the black tea line, though. Would totally buy this with that edit. Also love the Rose skin care when my skin is sensitive.
I tried the Soy Cleanser a few years back and didn’t like it either (can’t even recall why now, though I thought, given the price, that it would be amazing). My daughter loves it, though (or at least she used to) so I may pick up one of the sets for her.

Am I right, or what? So many companies are playing it safe, with the same old/same old? This is what Fresh means now. Most of the T readers have no idea that they made decent dark lipsticks, had select four eyeshadows, and a few good blushes (even some for darker skin tones) when they first started. WOC were always interested in my dark reds, brown, and puce lipsticks. Hope they’re still good. Never thought of Lev and Aliza, was it, as cutting edge, but those old things DO look revolutionary, compared to this season’s mostly bland and predictable offerings. Play it safe to rake it in. Not thrilled. With anything. Is it any wonder that ColourPop is such a hit? No. Rant over, this is a generally good, if melty formula. For many, it’s all they wear. I don’t think it has the ‘healthy’ properties that it claims and I feel that the markup has a nice fat margin. The pricey aspect is moderately annoying, bec they are good, but in no way superlative. This IS a good deal for fresh lovers, though.
Not a fan of Fresh, their products are laden with irritants (the essential oils mostly).
Bing-o. The essential oils may not irritate everyone, at least immediately, but there is long range potential. It’s funny that some plant parts can be good, but others not so much. Pine is a good example. Pine oil is dreadful, whereas bark extract is good for skincare. The whole category of hydrasols has me stumped. Some are ok, when the ess oil of the same plant, esp when a flower essence, is not. With sunflowers, it seems all is fine. Of course, if I understood it, I’d be Kind of Stephen or maybe Paula! Or at least not have to research every little thing.
These would make nice gifts to people or yourself, esp. if you can catch a sale/promo
I usually buy at least one of their holiday sets each year-but I really wish Sephora would bring back the $5 lip balm set. It was such a perfect and inexpensive gift!
I love the Fresh Sugar Lip minis, and look forward to them every fall. I have a full sized one, but they’re so big and bulky, I prefer the little ones, especially for my makeup bag.
Im with you… I Love the Fresh Sugar lip mini’s. Occasionally, I’ll go ahead and get the full size, but much prefer the mini’s. And so far those and their balm are the only things that keep my lips decent.
