Sneak Peek: Bite Beauty The Perfect Bite Set Photos & Swatches
Bite Beauty The Perfect Bite Set
Bite Beauty The Perfect Bite Set ($25.00 for 0.20 oz.) includes four miniature-sized Amuse Bouche lipsticks. The shades are housed in a red, metal tin (looks like a mint box to me), and all four shades are part of the permanent range, so you can purchase them individually if only one catches your eye or buy full-size if you finish one, which is nice.
My husband thinks I’m a bit crazy for purchasing sets that contain items I have reviewed in the past, but experience has taught me that things aren’t always consistent when they are included in palettes or kits. I found noticeable color variance in three of the four shades: Fig is cooler and a bit darker–rosier overall–which I think translates more on the lips than just swatched; Pepper is darker and plummier, it is not as warm-toned; and Honeycomb is slightly rosier, though it is still definitely a warm-toned color. Nori was the only one that was consistent in color, though the formula in the miniature-size was actually a bit smoother and more pigmented to me.

The colors look great on you! Unfortunately, I ordered this but the colors don’t look good on me. 🙁 Returning it this weekend. LOVE the formula though. I have two other colors, Kimchi & Gazpacho that look fabulous on me.
Mine came in yesterday. Love the colors!
Fig is nice!
I feel like Fig is a universal pink shade they offer from the whole range. Looks good on my pale skin as a deeper pink. 😉
I actually only purchased one of the Amuse Bouche lipsticks when they first came out Soufflé and I still haven’t worn it.Only because I have a million lipsticks. This little set is very nice I like the color selection so I might pick this one up!
Always get these bite sets. Prob why I have ~ 2 dozen bite shades. Only really crave Nori, for which I have numerous dupes. Have an old Pepper, and the other two aren’t immediate loves. Prob will lipswatch rather than jump immediately. Restraint can be the name of the game.
Cute little set 🙂
I am so excited that the holiday sets are starting to come out! I really like the colours in this set except the darkest one – Nori. I’d buy this but I’m trying to downsize my lipstick stash but maybe next year!!
I always look forward to the BITE holiday lip sets ever year, so sad I won’t be getting this one. I like Pepper, not sure if I can pull off Fig, Honeycomb will make me look dead, and I have tons of dupes for Nori. I love the mini sizes though, as it’s hard to finish a full size, and the BITE one’s are extra big ( .15 oz vs. 08-.12 for other brands).
Ok, your pretty pictures has convinced me, no full review needed for me! I am getting this set, it is too cute. And something about mini sizes appeal to me although I have enough full sized BITE lipsticks still in their packaging!
Looks a lovely little set. Shame Honeycomb is too pale for me.
Great way to try out the formula and a good value. Unfortunately for me, I’d probably only wear Fig, so it’s a pass. How about some cooler shades BITE?!
I kept thinking they’d do a bolder set – like this would be their idea neutrals and another set of bolder/brighter shades!
That would be nice!
Oh, I’m surprised the shades are a little different. I have three different versions of Fig, myself. I may have to do my own comparison. (Although two are the older formula, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they changed between formulas a little.)
I feel like if one wasn’t looking… you might not notice, lol! They are minor in a way, but I think they can be more/less depending on how your undertones match the differences.
Good call, Christine! Thanks for the update. Fig and Nori are beautiful!
I do not need more colors like these, but those cute little lipsticks in that cute little tin is sorely tempting me. This set would make such a cute little gift or stocking stuffer for the holidays.
Of course, I love Nori and Pepper, which is why I probably won’t be getting this. I already seem to have a lot of similar shades.
I know if I buy this as a gift…which is nuts it’s still in the 90’s here everyday…but if I did I would 100% use it myself. I might have good intentions….but with this long to go I’d totally cave lol
I have never tried this brand but this set makes me very curious. I find that natural lipsticks and lip balms turn old starting to smell lika a turned oil way too fast, within a year or so in Hawaii, even if I do not take them with me outdoors and store them inside a/c environment only. Could anyone comment on this with Bite lippies? A smaller set like this would make me less nervous considering that I never went through a tube of lipstick.
While the set is cute, I hope it’s not their only fall/holiday set 🙁
