Sneak Peek: Laura Mercier Fall In Love Face Illuminator Palette Photos & Swatches
Laura Mercier Fall In Love Face Illuminator Palette
Laura Mercier Fall In Love Face Illuminator Palette ($58.00 for 0.44 oz.) includes four, miniature-sized versions of the permanent Face Illuminators. It’s pretty neat, as they have the same swirled, raised design, but everything is on a smaller scale. I’ve reviewed all four shades previously, but sometimes quality and shades can vary when put into a set, so I picked it up when it launched to see how it would go. I still have to test these for wear, but the good news is that the colors and textures are consistent with the full-sized invididual shades I have!

Stunner!
These still look like eyeshadows to me and would make nice ones, just going by the swatches. Are the pans tiny, like eyeshadows? If so, it might be a bit tricky to get a brush into them.
Bigger than standard eyeshadow, smaller than a blush. The spacing makes them workable, though, because you can get your brush in it without touching another shade without a problem.
I’d say no issues at all if you’re actually using a highlighter brush, which are often thinner and more tapered than blush brushes.
Very pigmented!
These shades are too dark for me personally other than Devotion but I’m excited about the review… might still get it. lol
Would you call these glittery? I’m on the fence about buying this. I have no highlighters and this palette looks beautiful, but would be really dissappointed if th finish turned out to be too unnatural. ?
No, I wouldn’t, but they aren’t super subtle either!
I’ve been pining for these highlighters since they came out and now I don’t have to decide which ones to get! I got mine two days ago and am happy with the mini sized ones given I’ve got lots of Becca highlighters as well. These will last me a looong time 🙂
The Sephora comments so far are quite skewed. Disregarding dislike of color, which is personal taste and not a reason to down vote, imo, there are texture and packaging complaints. On the other hand, there are also raves. US mfgd? Idk. Maybe not all have been created equal. Color-wise, I love 3 of the 4. The gold might be like the gold Taraji we got by accident…. A def maybe! These actually look dark enough to be high lit blush, rather than straight highlighter. Calling it Illuminator was a good call, bec it could go either way, depending on your tones. Nice.
This beauty was ordered upon release! I love it! <3
Gorgeous and look like they’re very smooth. Hope they perform well on the cheek.
the pigment is great but the design is amazing. I love that they are adding personality to palettes.
The raised swirl design alone makes me want one, but those swatches are also excellent!
Girl you are workin’ HARD getting some important sneak peaks and reviews out! I’m tired just thinking about how fast companies start pumping out products in Sept/Oct. I love it! HAHAHA These look REALLY pretty. I don’t remember being wowed by the singles, but this is appealing….
What a great way to try the highlighters! who finishes the large individual ones anyway??
I swatched these in store a while back and loved how subtle they looked on me. I will wait for your review but would likely go for this over the Bobbi Brown bricks.
I already have full size in Addiction (love!) and don’t like/need the other colors, so won’t be getting this, but glad to hear the quality seems same as the full size. Hope the pans are big enough to get a brush in there
This has been my favorite highlight set so far for the holidays. Absolutely gorgeous! I have several highlighters and bronzers already, but I need this in my life.
Aside from the pink, these are way too dark for my face. I’m really digging the looks of it as an eyeshadow palette, though.
Same thought here, too. At least for the chocolate-y bronze shade, in my case. I can use the other 3 as highlighters, but not that one. But these do look like eyeshadows even more than cheek products for some odd reason!
I’m an NC30-35 with olive/gold undertones and the bronze shade was not super pigmented when I put it on. I didn’t feel that it was dark at all and used it to subtly contour and the golden and beige to highlight. I even built it up a little. As for usage as an eye product, I always do that with my highlighters or bronzers – great substitute for brown shadow when travelling or when I need a clean look for meetings. I like to use highlighters as shadows because they can be dialed down on the shimmer factor (depending on the particles) and are great to use when I don’t want to use a product with as much pigment as an eye shadow.
Gorgeous! Sadly most shades are too deep for me, but so pretty!
I thought these were eye shadows at first, until I read the heading again. Nice, but not unique and I think there would be a couple of colours there that would not get used.
This is a hit! Love it enough to try to get it. After all, I believe that I did love 3 out of the 4 shades when reviewed individually, so the other shade may wind up as a really chocolate bronze eyeshadow!
I brought this , got it today. I hope I’ll like it for my travel highlighter palette.
Wow. Those look pigmented and downright metallic. I wouldn’t dare use them anywhere but my eyes, I think.
Yep. Now I need another Laura Mercier highlighter- I have either seduction or indiscretion , can’t remember right now. Idk if it would be better for me to try to get this or to just get the full size edition. Hmmm. I’m not in love with the pale pink for me. I’ll have to keep researching
It looks better than I anticipated. I was reading some reviews and people were saying it’s not very pigmented. Your swatches definitely prove otherwise.
Ugh I love the aesthetics of this palette but I just know most of the colors are too dark for me *crying inside*
Now I’m confused as to whether I should get this palette, or the Hourglass holiday palette!
This is a very good looking quartett, I must say. Not sure it’s for me, though.
