Has anyone used these eyeshadow products? Are they even CLOSE to being worth the price? I’ve been craving a couple Viseart palettes for awhile and the extremely positive reviews of the quality are what might eventually convince me that they’re worth it but I have hardly seen anything about these palettes and they are SO EXPENSIVE.

I’d be interested in this as well. At least Viseart gets consistently good reviews from beauty bloggers/YouTubers. I splurged for a couple Tom Ford palettes this past summer (in the old formula–Nude Dip, Honeymoon) and while I really like the formula and the way they give my eyes a shimmery/damp look, I don’t use them nearly enough to justify the $82 price tag. (Good thing I sprung for them during Saks 10% off sale, which helped.)

Agona Avatar

Yeah…I just scoured the reviews. Not impressed with these. I actually think I’m going to spring for my first Make Up For Ever trio instead of these! Got a sample of it last month and I really like the formula. 🙂

I think the Natasha Denona eyeshadows are nice in many ways, but the lack of wear (and that sometimes they fade faster even over primer) is annoying for sure – if you have the money to spend, you might still swatch ’em in store sometime if you can. The 5-pan palettes aren’t the same value as the big palettes, but you’re more able to get the shades you want (or best perform).

But MUFE Artist Eyeshadows are awesome, and I definitely prefer those over the Natasha ones!

I have a 5 pan, I like it, it works well for me but it’s not swoon worthy. I would not buy the mega palette since there is supposedly a “special” way you are supposed to apply the shadows to prevent fall out, Nils at Beautylish had her on a conference call addressing this issue— but really? I’d spend my money on the Viseart if you want 10/10 happiness. Wayne Goss has a video swooning on her products and I do like what I have bought.

Vise art is absolute crap. I’ve tried 3 palettes so far. The shimmers are dry, dusty, flakey and thin. The mattes while decently pigmented aren’t better than makeup forever, Lorac, or too faced. Save your money. Not even remotely worth the price tag and I got them on sale.

LOL (and literally out loud)
RIGHT though!! for $239 I can get; right now two pair of palladium boots, some hair for a new wig and some drug store makeup. They really are trippin

I wasn’t really impressed with the Natasha Denona Glow or the eyeshadow I had previously purchased. I had purchased them bc of all of the hype. They were so-so and nowhere near worth the price. Glow did barely anything for me; it might work great on someone that’s a bit darker toned, but on me, it was barely there and not worth the effort. The eyeshadow applied a completely different shade than it looked in pan and had a fair amount of fall-out. I’m not buying another Denona product until I see (your) review on it.

Lol right I said similar things on Instagram . I said I never heard Natasha donono? Or whatever it is . It is not tom ford or Dior however asking for 239$. You can buy way better makeup guaranteed with 100% quality . Of course there were some people were ” her fans” claiming how her palettes are top notch abs sold out lol . I never heard her brand . I said whenever her brand gets better marketing well known like tom ford , channel , Dior … I m willing to buy otherwise she should sell that indie makeup to celebrities like kardashians Jr. send it to youtubers . Idk lol ?

Your reviews were mostly good to very good, but some were so-so and others outright duds. Between this and my recent Viseart (Minx) and TF (Honeymoon) palette purchases, which will take a long time to use to the point the expenditures make sense, I’ll pause for now . For the non-shadow products, it’ll depend on various reviews since those are pricey too.

Not going there, to ND, that is. Despite what Wayne and many of the ‘lish crew say. Most shades are not that undupeable, C’s reviews were not OTT wowsers, and they are mighty pricey. Also think their shimmers might be a tad much for this old broad. The mufes, even in the sparkliest finishes, are not too much. The visearts s.t. are (too sparkly/frosty for me). The wear, as attested, is not there. Methinks this is like the dog and his….oh, are we back to those again? Must be Testicle Tuesday. Why do people buy ND? …because they can. It seems more status and hype than true performance and substance.

LaMaitresse Avatar

Wow, that’s a huge coup for her! Congrats, I really liked some of her oroducts, her blushes and body glow are just wonderful. Foundation is really nice for an evening out with another layer for me underneath, but it’s a cool line!

I purchased a small palette from ND quite a while back and liked the shadows in general. My experience was that they kicked up a lot of powder and did not have any staying power, pretty much exactly what Christine reported as her experience. Having said that, there are some really amazing colors in the brown/green palette that are less dupable in my opinion and since green is my favorite color of eye shadow and there are so few really good greens out there, I might be tempted once I can swatch them in person on my super pale skin.

Jessie Anderson Avatar

I would totally buy that $239 palette. As long as it did my laundry and washed my dishes.
Otherwise, I can’t justify paying that much for eyeshadows.

Lea Avatar

I see 7 shadows off the top that I know I won’t wear. I’ve heard good things, but I think I’d prefer to see it in person to try for myself for the money. I’ve looked at the smaller 5 pans, but even there I don’t love the color combos. I’d be more inclined to try individual pans first but I’ve not been inclined to look to see if that’s an option yet.

Katherine T. Avatar

I have 2 of her shadows and mixed feelings about them. Golden Rose is absolutely stunning on me, it doesn’t crease but it does fade, but at least it fades into a soft pink with gold shimmer, one of my all time faves. I love my blues, but Cloudy Blue is too frosty blue on me, have to use it in small doses, and it also fades even with primer. And for $29 each, the packaging is a total joke. The singles are cheap flimsy white plastic with no mirror and cloudy plastic cover, looks and feels like cheap DS travel pillbox. For same price, I can get a NARS dual intensity shadow in sturdy black case packaging with mirror. So no, I won’t be buying a $ 240 palette.

I watched with curiosity the rollout of this brand at Beautylish and subsequent reviews of the various palettes by Christine, Tara (of Tarababyz), Wayne Goss, among others. I considered ordering a 5 pan palette but didn’t like the combos enough to dive in. I figured I’d wait for the brand to mature. I won’t comment on the cost of the large palette given (ahem) my own expenditures of late. ?
