Quick Neutrals with Urban Decay's Naked Palette

Quick Neutrals with Urban Decay’s Naked Palette

This is a really quick and dirty look I did a couple of weeks ago before an early 8 am class.

You will need the following…

For eyes, start by applying Smudgeproof as your eyeshadow base all over the eye area with the 249. Using the 239, apply Sin eyeshadow on the lid. Next, apply Darkhorse eyeshadow into the crease with the 226, lightly blending onto the outer lid.  Blend Virgin eyeshadow with the crease shade and highlight the brow bone. Bring everything together by applying Whiskey liner on the lower lash line. Finish by sweeping lashes with Plushlash mascara.

For cheeks, apply Sugarbomb blush on the apples of the cheeks and sweep upwards towards the temple with the 116.

For lips, apply Violetta lipstick first, and then layer Revenge is Sweet lipglass for a complementing lip.

I got naked at the weekend! I used the two matte shades yesterday really nice! Violetta looks quite fuschia here must be the gloss! Dior has new lipsticks there is one like violetta!

Very well done Christine!! Neutral looks are my favorites because they’re so wearable for any situation. I’m looking forward to buying this palette as soon as it comes out here =)

Wow Christine! I didnt know Violetta lipstick could look so good. It looks amazing on you now I kind of want it.

Do you think it would work for NC 42?

Love the lips! I need to dig out my Violetta l/s and use it! Still undecided about the Naked palette though, I’ve not had a chance to see it in person, but will probably not get it since I have most shades already and I’m not a neutral kinda gal. 🙂

Violetta is very pretty and I have to pick it up someday. I love the neutral eyes and bright lips, easy as pie for school and when I don’t have too much time for makeup.

This is exactly what I needed this morning! I ended up going with Sin on the lid, Naked and Buck in the crease and Virgin as a highlight, Whiskey to line with MAC Velvetella lip liner and Kittenish lipstick from Fabulous Felines 🙂

You look beautiful!!! But the eyeshadow of the naked palette seems very sheer, isn’t it?
I’d expext a more “marked” look in natural style…
Is it a good item to buy? ^_^

Looks beautiful. Amazing! I’ve been looking for a way to wear Violetta without scaring people, and this look is great inspiration. Love it. I’m putting this palette and lipstick on my to-wear list for the week!

Very pretty look. Love the lips.

I’ve been wanting to try the MUFE HD foundation.
Do you find yourself liking it more now?
I’ve noticed you use it in alot of your looks.

I was going to ask the same, Christine. I want to try the MUFE HD, too, but I want to ask for your opinion: My face is lighter than my neck. I always matched my foundation to my face to make it even, but now I learn that you should match it to your neck…? What do you think?

Also, I love all these Naked Palette looks! I just tried that Gunmetal/Half-Baked last night, and it turned out gorgeous! Please do more. 🙂

I think the colors are GORGEOUS on you! I love that palette, but probably wouldn’t go with that much shimmer for myself at my age. But I would’ve rocked it with those lips if I looked like you!!!

Very beautiful as always Christine! What eyeshadow from MAC would be the closest to the colour you are wearing on the lid? such a beautiful colour. Oh no i know for sure i am getting violetta after seeing this look lol

I love how you accentuated the lips in this look. I’ve been using my Naked Palette more often and have been going with a bronzy shade for lips or more natural but you inspired me to bold up my lips today!

I did a very similar look today except I used Smog instead of Darkhorse, BE’s So Fab for blush, and a random dark berry lip gloss. You know what they say about great minds and all?

nice lips christine.. and the last pic whr to look down is cool 🙂
I have one more thing to tell you, i applied my nail polish in ur style kinda leaving the cuticles it looked better than the full nail thing.. last time you suggested me about the blush but i forgot which post was it, is there a way to search all my comments i left in you site other than the notify option below?
