We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! I find myself irritated that they didn’t translate all the face charts onto a real person. Tronika(?-the robot one) and the doll face are two I would really love to see on a person.

It’s kind of a mix of both – I could see some techniques going, and it was cool to see the phases of each mask/face that the artist used (like the outlining). I also liked that we saw some products IN use, and they actually were the ones recommended.

I was wondering when the Halloween face charts will pop up 🙂

I think I might do the Amphibian one, but some of the past Halloween face charts seem more interesting =/ I dunno yet.

Are you going to do any of them, Christine?

I love this years face charts – I’d love to do Tronica but I don’t think I’m skilled enough to pull it off – guess I have a few weeks to practice 🙂
I’m so excited they’ve posted some on the models this time, it’s nice to see how well it translates 😀
Yay Halloween!

This video is amazing. I think it’s great to see the translation from chart to face, but also to better appreciate the complexity and time required to actually complete (let alone learn & practice). It definitely showcases the wow factor, but I also think it is a how-to. It’s just not done in the step-by-step tutorial style most people are used to, which really wouldn’t be practical. I loved seeing the various stages of the looks, and I definitely can appreciate the skill required to pull any of these off.

Thanks Christine, awesome look into the Halloween face charts.
