I like Royal, but all of the other colors look kind of meh to me
Agreed! Except for Royal this looks a bit boring
Agreed!
Agreed ! I was looking at it last night and the colors seem so “déjà vu” except maybe Royal.
But then again there is the ABH Modern Renaissance eye palette which is much more interesting and versatile if I really want some reds.
Totally agree.
This looks totally boring and very much like a Tarte palette that I think is on clearance now at Sephora.
Nothing super exciting but I like the colors. The sort of thing that would be a nice gift for someone who doesn’t already have ten palettes, though. Not sure how that blush would show up on anyone but quite fair skinned people, though.
Actually it shows really pretty on my skin. I am African American and Deep with golden undertones.
All tarte palettes look the same. Seriously. Taupe, plum, ivory shades. If you buy one tarte pallete, you own them all. It’s almost getting to the point of hilariousness, as if they are doing a parody or making a point about the fact that people will buy a dozen palettes, all containing the same colors, just because they are new. But it’s not a joke: they actually do think it’s a good idea to releases dozens of the same pallette with different names and packaging. I’m pretty baffled at this point. I almost died when I saw the graveyard girl pallette. What’s the point of collabing with unique people if the result is always the same anyway?
With the one clear exception of that shimmering berry, Royal, this just looks like one more neutral palette. That blush probably wouldn’t even look like much on my medium skintone.
As a neutral lover, this palette seems promising! Hoping the eyeshadows perform well!
Can not wait for the swatches. I trust your reviews and dupes list before I purchase anything. Christine, you do a great job for all of us. I watch a lot of YouTube videos first impressions on new products. But your review, swatches and dupes list is what finalize the decision for me. Thank you, Christine.
This doesn’t interest me at all.
I must be the only one who likes this. Can’t wait to see swatches start popping up.
This does look like the one on clearance on the Sephora website. Sad
The “sad” addendum is making me imagine what Donald Trump would sound like reviewing makeup. lol.
Agree with the majority of the comments. Looks like every other Tarte palette except for the berry. Got to give Tarte props for using Beauty Bloggers to create these new palettes but seriously can the colors be a little more original.
The blush is a beautiful shade but the eye shadows are very typical of Tarte. Nothing exciting there.
If I was given this for free I would still have no use for it. The previous commenters are spot on – this looks just like every other Tarte palette. Yawn.
If I wanted a travel palette with a pop of color, this would fit the bill, but I have too many colors like this already.
I suppose this might appeal to someone who doesn’t already have a full stash of neutral palettes, but that someone isn’t me. I mean, a matte brown shadow. Really, Tarte?? Groundbreaking…(said in my best Miranda Priestly voice)…lol…
Not exciting for me. I’ll pass. I already have color like these.
I can see this as someone’s first/starter or travel kit, but like other posters, I already have all these colors in my ‘wardrobe’ as it were.
Royal is gorgeous, but the stock photo does this palette no justice in my opinion! The swatches are soo pretty. It is definitely on my list! Especially since I love coral blushes.
An easy pass. Tarte is becoming a one trick pony IMO (yawn).
