Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Hi Christine! I just came back from the mall after checking out Suite Array. Rave was one of the pencils I really liked, so I may go back and get it. I looked at everything, and the only ones I liked were Spare Change and Rave–none of the eyeshadows really appealed to me. But then again, I didn’t see Team Violets (my counter didn’t have it), so maybe I’m liable to change my mind, since I LOVE purple eyeshadow. I felt that the shadows went on sheer and chalky, even thought the colors were fun.

So happens I was going to a MAC Technique class on Saturday at the local MAC counter. I got there a bit early so I could check out the new stuff, Suite Array and Creamsheens. I thought the Suite Array shadows were all really bad, no color in any. Love the pencils though. Didn’t have much time to play with Creamsheens since class started so I’m going back to check those out.

I grabbed Fly By Blu as one of the products I choose from the class fee. I wore it Sunday and loved it. It really wears well, despite the fact that folks thought they were smudgy. When it was applied and set, it didn’t smudge even if I tried to smudge it. I will go back and grab more of these when I go back to check out Creamsheens.

I felt the same way about the shadows being a bit colorless. But I bought Smoke and Ash anyway. Alone it’s okay. But if you pair it with Greenstroke paint pot it’s AMAIZING!!! I use “greenstroke” as a base, “Ash” all over lid and “Smoke” in the crease. It has a nice greenish undertone to it. I love it!!! You should try it out and let me know if it works for you!
