Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Oh goodness. I have a favorite for each colour story…

Neutral
I love neutrals. My current fave: Romp lid, saddle crease, blonde’s gold highlight

Neutral Smokey
Brown down lid, saddle crease, blonde’s gold highlight

Taupes
Satin Taupe inner lid, Mag Fields outer crease, smoke n diamonds lid, saddle crease, grain highlight

Purples
illegal cargo inner lid, top hat all of lid, but with nocturnelle concentrated above my iris, poison pen crease, vanilla pig or helium pig highlight.

Greens
Goldmine Inner lid, Copperized lid, saddle crease, blonde’s gold

Blues
Softwash grey inner lid, naval blue lid, flashtrack outer corner, helium pig highlight

Thank you for this: “Blues
Softwash grey inner lid, naval blue lid, flashtrack outer corner, helium pig highlight” combo. I never use my Softwash Grey, though I take it out frequently to swatch it  I will try your look for sure

I love parrot paired with urban decay baked. They really bring out the best in each other.
I also love goldmine and coppering. Or coppering with any gold really.

Right now I’m in LOVEEE with the CoC Tempting quad (esp. sharp)! But generally, I love to use yellow/purple combos or orange/blue, dark brown/purple. I tend to use contrasting colors together a lot since they tend to stand out more that way IMO.

I’m showing my MAC Spiced Chocolate quad a lot of love right now. I love the Sweet Chesnut e/s.

I also like to use MACs Old Gold pigment over Sharkskin shadestick. It turns into a really pretty green color, very smoky too.

I love Mac’s frost pigment all the way up to the browbone, Mac’s Mineralize eyeshadow duo in odd couple with the lighter gold color all over the lid, and then the bright purple one in the crease 🙂

I love the combo of Fuchsia and Violet from MAC, those two where made for each other. Fuchsia on the lid and Violet in the crease, with Teal as a liner all around the eye looks great.
I acually took a seperate 5g jar and mixed the two together in a new shade, looks a bit like Stars n’ Rockets, but with much more color payoff.

My top 3 combinations this year:

* Shroom, Satin Taupe and Juxt. (Springtime)

* Patina, Ricepaper and Phloof. (Summer)

* Smoke & Diamonds and Phloof, sometimes a little bit Shroom, too. (Fall)
