Look - Deep, Dark Browns and Red Lips
I’m going to my sister’s piano recital later on this evening, so I wanted to do something special for that 🙂 What are you doing this weekend?
You will need the following…
- Eyes: Copperbeam pigment (dark gold-brown), Brash eyeshadow (copper), Woodwinked eyeshadow (antique brown), Bronze eyeshadow (dark brown), Spiced Chocolate eyeshadow (matte dark brown), Ricepaper eyeshadow (soft highlighter), Urban Decay Zero 24/7 Liner (black), Plushlash mascara (black)
- Cheeks: Fleurry blush (soft peachy coral)
- Lips: Sci-Fi-Delity lipstick (frosty raspberry), Cult of Cherry lipglass (red)
- Brushes: 266 (firm, angled brush), 249 (flat, firm brush), 239 (fluffy shadow brush), 129 (dense blush brush)
- Substitutes: Copperbeam = Tan; Brash = Amber Lights; Spiced Chocolate = Swiss Chocolate; Fleurry = Peachykeen; Sci Fi Delity = Captive; Cult of Cherry = Russian Red
Directions: Define brows using a coordinating powder shadow applied with the 266 brush. Apply Copperbeam pigment all over the lid as the base with the 249. On inner lid, apply Brash eyeshadow with the 239 brush. Apply Woodwinked eyeshadow to the middle of the lid. Darken the outer lid using Bronze eyeshadow and drag into crease using the 239. Add depth to crease by applying Spiced Chocolate eyeshadow with the 239 brush. Sweep Ricepaper eyeshadow underneath the brow bone to highlight. Finish with Urban Decay Zero 24/7 Liner on lower lash line, and Plushlash mascara on lashes. Sweep apples of cheeks with Fleurry blush using the 129. Apply Sci-Fi-Delity lipstick to lips, and then top with Cult of Cherry lipglass for color and shine.

Love this look!
Thanks, Stephanie!
Love this look. I’ve noticed your teeth look whiter these days, what did you use to whiten them? I don’t mind my Crest white strips, but I’m always looking for better.
Thanks, Kella! Actually, I haven’t whitened my teeth in over six months…
This is beautiful, especially with the new hair!
I ♥ this look a lot!
Aw, thanks, Vee!

GORGEOUS! I love the metallic look of it! It looks spectacular!
Also, I got the prize I won today in the mail and I just have to say THANK YOU!!! The brushes are SOOOO AWESOME! You’re the best! 😀 I never win contests, so this is so special! I love this site! 😀
Thanks so much, Mariah! Glad you got the giveaway package!
That’s what I call a total art work.
I have to use my Smoking Quad. Do you think Showstopper or Smoking can substitute Spiced Chocolate and Mulch or Satin Taupe could replace Bronze?
I’d say Mulch is much closer to Bronze than Satin Taupe is, at least on me. Not sure about Showstopper/Smoking though…
Thank you for your recommendation Courtney. I just have to be careful with warm colors with a gold and red undertone.
Oh, wow!
Thanks, Nicole!
Showstopper could replace Satin Taupe, probably. It’s quite dark, kind of cool. Mulch could be an OK Bronze in a pinch – maybe put a little Showstopper mixed in to darken it.
So sexy! Love it!
Thanks, Ceci!
Very pretty look. What collection was Brash and Spiced Chocolate from? Looks like I missed 2 good ones! 🙁
Hope your sister’s recital goes well!
cult of cherry, of course!!! 😀
don’t worry you can still get the quads on the mac website!
Thanks, Dawn! She did AMAZING!
It’s from MAC’s Cult of Cherry collection, still available!

This look is AMAZING on you! You were born to wear coppery and bronze warm shades. And no one rocks the red lipstick like you do! (Okay, maybe Gwen Stefani…lol…)
Oh, wow! Thank you so much, Betsy 😉 Haha, yes, I think Gwen might rock it a lil’ harder than me!
Very Very Gorgeous Brown Bronze look!!

LOVE IT in all caps. Seriously amazing look, love the hair too!
Haha! Thanks, Amelia!
I am finding it hard to find a nice dark brown eyeshadow with a hint of goldy-ness to them.. I think I might have to resort to MAC! Looking lovely as always! =] x
MAC has some great warm browns 🙂
You look lovely. I love the way both your hair and make up look together.
Thanks, Bettina!
