The formula is supposed to be pigmented, long-wearing, and blendable (for more on how it compares to the previous formula, check out this post). It had semi-sheer, buildable coverage–to about medium–that was blendable and easy to apply to the skin. It just barely shows up on me, and I’m around light-medium to medium in skin tone, so my guess is this will be more suitable for fairer complexions overall. The texture felt incredibly finely-milled, but it could have been less powdery. It wore well for seven and a half hours on me before fading was noticeable.

Looks better on than it does in the swatch.
lol!
That does look pretty powdery. I like the shade though. I wish it had a little more sheen to it.
I miss the satiny finish of the old formula!
The color is so pretty, very natural looking, too bad the formula isn’t better 🙁
I wish it was better, too! 🙁
A bit off topic, but Christine, I love the way Honey Bear looks on you. I’ve seen you wear it in a bunch of posts – do you think you’ll have a chance to review it eventually?
No idea, sorry! It’s just a random Too Faced lipstick I have, but I have about 100+ lip products well ahead of it, so I really don’t know.
Haha that’s plenty, then! Good luck and thanks for all you do!
Much, much too light and sheer for me! It’s just *barely* there on you, so definitely more geared towards fair to light complexions.
Definitely agree, Nancy!
I’m surprised at how poorly this colour performed considering this is a colour I would immediately go for! Hopefully we’ll see better shades in the release!
Aww!
