The formula is supposed to “infuse the skin with luster” with a “satiny smooth powder.” It’s available in two shades (the other I already reviewed here), and I think there could have been a third–something cooler, more pink-derived. As I mentioned in the prior review, the texture is smooth and blendable once on the skin, but the powder is denser. It is oddly firm but not stiff; it takes more to dislodge the powder from the surface–not sure if it’s related to the design or formula itself–and does get a little easier with multiple uses. If the texture was more forgiving and easier to use, though, this would be a real winner, as the end result is a glowing and gorgeous on the skin. It had medium, buildable coverage with a luminous finish that didn’t emphasize pores and wore well for almost nine hours on me.
Ciao

That’s a really lovely color!
It is!
Wow, love the luminous finish!
The finish is great!
Stunning. I’m wary of basket-weave patterns in pressed powders. The last one I had, which was drug-store, got dropped and just shattered.
Oh no! 🙁
It really DOES look great applied, but I’m not crazy about the B+ vs $45. It gives me a strong pause. That said, I will likely just seek out a good dupe instead, possibly MAC Peachtwist or the yet-to-be reviewed Laura Geller one.
It should definitely be softer, IMO!
Shimmery blush isn’t something I go for, but this colour is gorgeous enough to make me consider it.
I love the “thread” design how it looks in the pan too – though that would just make me feel bad about using it, so it might be a negative!
The thread design should last a decent while, since it is pretty raised, but it doesn’t lose powder easily!
I think it’s very pretty. I’m not sure I could pull it off but it’s perfect on you.
Thank you, Erin!
The pattern on this AND the color is absolutely stunning! I’ve always wondered how manufacturers manage to get all of those different colored pigments to cooperate during pressing without looking like a right mess.
I bet it would be very interesting to watch how it is made!
This is definitely my kind of colour and I love the cris cross pattern so you can swirl your blush brush around. But I do agree with you Christine – there could have been a third in the series for more cool toned complexions.
I hope they add a third sometime!
What this post has done is made me dig out my dupes for the Makeup Geek eyeshadows you’ve used! While this blush looks warmer in the pan than the other one you showed, it seems cooler (and almost wearable for me) in the photos of you wearing it. You look stunning.
Thank you so much, Mariella!
