The packaging is so pretty, I feel like the LEs this year all are gorgeous in packaging at least.
The promo photo is incredibly stunning and a total feast for my eyes!!! I love the brilliance and yet subtlety of the colour choices. Gorgeousness!!! I want that lavender cream colour base! and the matte matching lippie!
Cloud Gait reminds me of the Best Of Breed lipglass from the Fabulous Felines collection
The reference point for this collection is amazing. Not just Kunqu, but other forms of traditional Chinese opera. The Peony Pavillion seems to be performed by all companies, has dream, death, resurrection, deux ex machina, the whole 9 yards…in up to 22 hours of performance. The makeup seems very faithful to the few pix I googled. This is a hidden world behind a contemporary m/u collection, with centuries old traditions that are all but unknown to contemporary western society. Bravo, MAC, for this reach and inspiration.
The packaging is cute.
This is some of the most beautiful packaging I have seen in a long time! I really love the whole theme of it. And this is one time I may actually be relieved that a few of the lipsticks are Lustres! But it’s the eyeshadows that are so bold and fun.
Love it !!!!!! think I will buy a lot of it just because it Looks so amazing (if I get the Chance to buy it, very low chances here in germany, selected locations means that I will have to buy it online and there you have no Chance, the things sell out while you Are putting them into basket, you can put one or two things into the basket and then have to pay to get at least These two things, and if you Are very Lucky maybe you can make another order).
Just stunning colours used in the promo ads – now let’s hope the products are just as good.
I’m definitely getting the Transparent Powder, just because of the compact with the beautiful design. The eyeshadows also looks gorgeous, especially the turquoise one.
