LORAC Light Source Illuminating Highlighter ($22.00 for 0.21 oz.) just came out in the last week or so, and it’s a new, powder highlighter (that’s permanent!) from LORAC. There are four shades–all warm-toned, I’m afraid!–with three being more gold in tone (one is pinky). Full reviews to come!

Thanks Christine for the swatches! I’ve been prowling the internet, trying to find swatches. Daylight looks perfect for me, on my buy list

Okay, some day soon (um, before the Sephora sale!), I have to sit down and do swatch comparisons of all the highlighters I want because my highlighter wishlist is just way too long! And growing, if these swatches are any indication…

These are lovely, and are making me glad I bought those Wet & Wild geometric highlighters. I’m less tempted than I would be without my WnW.

I’m loving how Daylight looks white gold in direct light but has a stronger gold base! I might need this in my life 😀

One downside to these though: all warm. Even though I am warm-toned, cool-tones highlighters are often harder to find amid this kind of sea. I wish they’d offer at least two or three cool shades in this range!

First of all, thanks for all you do, Christine! I always refer to Temptalia before making a beauty purchase.

I was thrilled to see your “sneak peek” of the LORAC Light Source Illuminating Highlighters since I’ve have been going back and forth between Starlight and Daylight for days. (Not sure why, but I seem to be kinda obsessed with these!) I am keeping my fingers crossed that you might review these before the 20% off sale for Platinum Members ends at Ulta.

I’m looking for a subtle highlight with a light whiteish gold undertone–something like a cross between Becca Pressed Shimmering Skin Perfector in Pearl and Moonstone, but with a bit less overt shimmer. I like the overall tone of Starlight, but it looks like it could possibly be a teeny bit patchy. Daylight is also pretty, but it doesn’t look quite as subtle as Starlight. Decisions, decisions!!

Hi Christine,

I am definitely going tom get one or maybe two of these. I bought a highlighter from Lorac called the perfectly lit luminizer that they discontinued and I searched everywhere for it — to no avail. I would put it on all over my face. Seriously obsessed. I’m a snow globe and I don’t care!! LOL
