Tarte Tarteist Glossy Lip Paint ($20.00 for 0.20 fl. oz.) is a new, permanent gloss formula available in nine shades. Haven’t had a chance to test these at all yet–I feel like I have photographed/swatched almost every day this past week (hence all the sneak peeks!)–but here are swatches to give you an idea of preliminary results!

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Now this is more my style! I’m so sick of all the matte, matte, matte lip colors that have been coming out for the past year or two. And there seems to be some cooler colors in this collection, which makes me happy!

Oh stop, stop, eeeeeeek…….my buy list for Sephora/Ulta sale keeps getting longer and longer with all these sneak peeks! Might be adding Snap, Slay, and Fave to it 🙂

I wasn’t really excited to hear about these, but after seeing the swatches I know I need several of them in my life, especially Poison. I love purple lipsticks/glosses, but so many go on streaky or sheer. That does not appear to be an issue with Poison.

I hear a lot of people say it that way. I think I figured it out because of the golf balls. You know, Tit-leist instead ofTitle-ist? My parents howled.
It is refreshing to have a texture change. It seems as if certain trends have absolute staying power: contour/highlight, nude eyes, matte lips. Getting a little satiated, here. But if trends will persist, they are fairly innocuous ones. Though people (vloggers) maybe should review Wayne Goss. Woke up last night & youtubed some of the CP darlings. You could jack a deer with the headlights on the tips of the nose. That’s vulgar and disgusting, but it’s pretty sad, when all I can think of to say to some retail customers is ‘Nice strobing.’ To which they look at me blankly. Actually, at times I think I need shades. Truth is, they need lessons, better brushes, better mirrors, or to buck the never ending trend.

The lighter shades seem to pull into lip lines, the darker ones seem more interesting. I wonder how the wear will be, and if they feather.

I was meh about another gloss formula but these look so pretty and unique. I hope they’re not too runny(I like my gloss staying in one place) but I definetely need a few to enhance some of my lip looks

Wow, those really look gorgeous! And they SHINE!!! They’re not matte!!!!!!!!!! I wonder about the wear time on them. I could see me getting at least a couple of those! I really like how they look.

Am I the only one noticing what looks like weird bubbling in the arm swatches? I’ll wait to see what your take on them is, but based on images alone these look weirdly goopy.

I am excited about these because I am so tired of matte and velvet finishes. My dry lips rejoice over this launch!
Will you do a review of the Tarte double duty eye and cheek palettes?

Thanks for doing the sneak peek, Christine! Would you happen to know when these will be coming to Sephora? These look really nice, but I definitely want to test them in person before buying.
