My favorite way to make my cheeks pop is highlighter! I love to use this in combination with a brighter blush color and it just gives my cheeks the nicest glow. If I’m in a hurry, I just pinch my cheeks a little and apply the highlighter and it gives a nice glow as well!

Rawrzellers Avatar

Believe it or not I actually applied some glitter to my friends cheeks when she wanted to go for a more fairy type of look and I used neon yellow glitter. Yes it actually turned out for the better, I think it’s because she has darker skin. But for my skin tone and my face I like to have something peachy and pink with some yellow undertones so it looks nice and not way over done. Bronzer absolutely hates my face so it’s something I try and stay away from.

Christian Avatar

I like to use Benefit’s Moonbeam as a hilighter then apply my blush to the apples of my cheeks. My favorite blushes are MAC Dainty and Benefit Dallas for a more bronzed look.

icosmeticrn Avatar

My favorite way to make my cheeks pop is using MAC instant chic blush!! I use almost everyday since I bought and it gives me a really great glow!

Jen Avatar

My favorite way to make my cheeks pop is by using Nars Gilda blush on the apples of my cheeks and then a few dots of Benefit High Beam and it really makes my cheeks look glowy and dewy! Love this combo!

Montrese Avatar

My favorite way to make my cheeks pop is to do nude eyes (only winged liner & tons of mascara), a semi-bold lip (think a medium toned coral w/lots of gloss) & a pink cheek (dollymix blush) & that’s how I like to make my cheeks pop lol.

Alexis B. Avatar

My favorite way to make my cheeks pop is with a bright pink/coral (I love sweetness beauty powder) color blush on the apples of my cheeks & then a TON of Dior’s Amber Diamond highlighter. Adding highlighter can make any blush pop! And suttle eye’s with huge lashes – not to take away from the cheeks. I’ve been loving femme fi lately.

CurlyKye Avatar

I’m a simple kinda girl so just a hint of color on my cheeks gives me just what I need to feel like they stand out. MACs Ripe Peach Ombre does it for me!

Arianna Avatar

My favorite way to make my cheeks pop is just applying a shimmer blush! I usually wear Mac Mineralized blushes which have quite a shimmery finish, mostly golden/peach shimmer ^_^

Sass Avatar

I have dark skin so I put my blush on (any color) and I buff in a little MAC So Ceylon MSF on top to give it a pop of low sparkle.

Stephanie Avatar

I love the mineralize blush in warm soul, amaaazing colour and just a bit of shimmer. It gives me this very subtle, healthy glow that, whenever I put on this pretty blush, I get complements throughout the day. But I’m dying to try this one, I looooove corally colours! ^^

Nik Avatar

I use MAC Cheeky Bronze or Gold Deposit on the top of my cheekbones, MAC Refined Golden topped with Benefit Sugarbomb 🙂 On special occasions I use my beloved MAC Dancing Light on my cheekbones!

Amanda Avatar

My favorite way to make my cheeks pop is to apply a setting powder on top of my foundation/face makeup and then apply blush. It will help the blush to settle nicely, rather than just seep into my semi oily skin.

Wilcoa Avatar

To make my cheeks pop I usually use bronzer as my main “blush” then I apply some peachy-pink blush to the apples of my cheeks and highlight the cheekbones. I am super pale so some sort of blush/bronzer is needed daily!

Erin Avatar

I love to use Refined or Perfect Topping MSF over my blush to add a nice dimension to my cheeks, especially over Instant Chic or Cantaloupe!

Jessica Avatar

I love to use MAC’s blushbaby to make my cheeks pop. it looks effortless but fresh – i really love the effect it has on my skintone!!!

love your blog so much!!

Kimberly Avatar

Favorite way to make my cheeks pop is to contour beneath my cheekbones, apply a bright blush (style for instance) and highlight with fresh morning ccb above the cheekbone.

Nayeli Avatar

To make my cheeks pop, I like to use a shimmery blush or a matte blush and add highlighter…. I would like to enter this contest!!!!
Thanks

JennyJen813 Avatar

Here’s my usual routine for making my cheeks “pop”: first I contour with a non-shimmer bronzer to accenuate my cheekbones. Then I’ll sweep on my blush (usually a pink-toned color from my MAC or NARS blushes.) Then I’ll apply a bit of cream/liquid highlighter to the top of my cheek bones to finish the look. 🙂

Rachel Avatar

Please consider this my entry into your contest:

My favorite way to make my cheeks pop is to apply a rosy color to the apples of my cheeks, then contour with a bronze color. 🙂

Kelly Avatar

I use a light pink blush, then a sparkly rose chanel blush! The combo makes the perfect color, and I apply all the way up to the eyes.

Carolina S Avatar

i like to contour my cheeks with a bronzer and then on the cheek bone i put a nice shimmery blush and then in the apple of my cheeks i put a very very very pink blush. I love the combo!

Olivia Avatar

To make my blush pop, I contour the hollows of my cheeks and place blush above the area I contoured. This emphasizes my cheeks and the color blush I put on it.

Fridde Avatar

I love to layering colors, first a really high pigmented pink that pops! and then I like to take Mac BeautyPowder in Shell Pearl, which gives my cheeks a really nice glow and it really Pops!

Kajsa Avatar

Before I loved pink blushes, now I’m in love with peachy blushes! Now I can actually see the blush, didn’t really do that before 😀

Twitter: Monticka

Lauren Avatar

My cheeks pop with Nars Penny Lane (as a base). I top them off with either MAC Well Dressed, MAC Instant Chic or NYX Angel (which looks an awful lot like Well Dressed on my cheeks). I just love the texture, though. Lastly, I add a quick highlight with MAC By Candlelight. Voila!

JayJay Avatar

I like to wear a bit of cream blush, blended well, and then a powder on top to make my cheeks pop. Of course, I always contour and highlight 🙂

On days where I want the cheeks to be the focal point of my face, I’ll concentrate a brighter colour, right on the apples of my cheeks, and then blended outward in a circular area. It’s very retro looking.

Joanne Avatar

i don’t like glittery/shimmery blush, but any matte bright pink or coral shade does the trick for me…if i don’t have a bright one handy, i’ll just layer any blush until i get the desired effect.

jamie Avatar

NARS orgasm gives me the best glow possible!! i’ve already got cheekbones and i actually try to tone it down a little. Orgasm is the perfect shade for me to make my cheeks pop but not too much! 🙂

nic Avatar

i use nars super orgasm… the color is so pigmented that i don’t need to use a lot. plus the flecks of gold help to add a little bit of glam to the look!

Danielle Avatar

I love lifting my cheekbones with a little bit of MAC Bronzing Powder to contour, then Dainty blush on the apples with Luna CCB as a highlight. Beautiful, natural effect!

Ina Avatar

Lovely giveaway you are holding! I make my cheeks look their best with bronzer, a coral blush and some shimmery highlighter right on top of the bones

AdelineEr Avatar

My current favourite is my hot pink blush from ChiChi, and a little contouring with bronzer under the apple of my cheeks and highlights under my eye area and my nose bone.:D

Lyssa Avatar

The way I love to make my cheeks pop is with the MSF in Soft & Gentle and the Warm Soul Blush. Those are my all time favorites!..I wear them at least everyday but I’ll use the Shell Pearl Beauty Powder from the Give Me Liberty Of London collection. I absolutely love those products!

Valerie C. Avatar

I go a little bright and sheer, applied high on cheek and up toward temple…then a touch of highlighter on top of cheekbone. Thanks!
I’ll do the retweet too (dragonfly777)

Meesh Avatar

I apply my blush with a 168 and use a 134 or a 131 to blend it out. I tend to gravitate towards corals so it looks natural and then pop a highlight color right above where I placed the blush!

Abril Avatar

Mine is contouring first, then apply a peachy color on the cheekbone and then apply a very subtle colour on the apple of the cheek! (I specially love this when I use MAC Sculpt, Cantaloupe and Trace Gold!)

Dini Avatar

To make my cheeks all pretty, I like to use a really bright powder blush, or use a cream blush with a more sheer powder blush over top for the apples of my cheeks, then blend well. I make sure that I contour my cheeks lightly, then add a little highlight with either Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in Nectar or those nice loose iridescent powders from MAC.

Don’t really have a way to make my cheeks pop I am just starting to look into the blush thing would love to try the hipness blush. Any ideas on starter blushes? Ive got Brown eyes and hair with light/medium skin tone. Thanks

HebrideanSprite Avatar

My favourite way to make cheeks pop is to have a neutral face, then use a gel stain with a powder over top on my cheeks, really bold on my pale skin!

rosie Avatar

I love to use a really girly sweet pink powder blush and then put a light shimmery highlight just at the top of my cheekbones. I’m super pale so I find that a little blush really makes a huge difference. I’d love a coraly pinky colour for summer, so I think hipness would be a good one to have!

Fatema Avatar

I make my cheeks pop by using a cream colored base before I apply powder blush. and I use stippling brush to apply blush!!

I also RT this contest, my twitter username: silentwhisper16

Ashley Tatton Avatar

Definitely cream blush in a similar color before powder, other wise my blush is gone in about 2 minutes. Blend it all out, from my apples back and up a bit. Love it.

Monzav Avatar

After I apply my blush, I dip my blush brush into a tray with sheer gold pigment and use that over my blush to give my cheeks an awesome sheen.

April Avatar

Right now I really like a simple splash of something like MAC’s Margin on my apples, well blended, and then bronzer! Summery and simple!

dani Avatar

the way i like to make my cheeks pop is by adding 2 different blushes. one pinkish the other sort of like a deep color, and add a touch of a highlight color.

twitter: 23dani

Gina Avatar

To make my cheeks pop, after i apply my foundation I dab a little cream blush to set as a base for layering a nice bright pink or peach blush! Either color really brightens up my face!

Ally_D Avatar

My favourite way to make my cheeks pop is with contouring. I often use NARS Laguna as a bronzer (fish face time!), Shell Pearl Beauty Powder as a highlight and then whatever my top blush is of the moment – have recently rediscovered Benefit Coralista 🙂

Melody Avatar

I love to contour my cheeks using NARS Laguna bronzer! It just gives them an awsome definition 🙂 Then I use MAC By Candlelight MSF to highlight!

Jenny Avatar

What I do to make my cheeks pop is applying first (but very subtle) a cream blush, blend it, and then apply my powder blush. It really makes my cheeks pop and also the blush stays there long time! I also keep my eyes and lips defined but softly made up, so my cheeks is the part of my face that really pop 🙂

Thanks for the contest Christine!

Marthe Avatar

I like to make my cheeks pop with first a cheek stain under my foundation then put a powder blush over it, but pinching my cheeks the old fashion way makes them nice and blushyy as well. Plus a highlighter on the cheekbones ofcourse!

julieh Avatar

My favorite way to make my cheeks pop is to use a warm rosy pink blush all over my cheeks and to add a bright pink blush just to the apples.

Crystal Avatar

I wear mac sculpt in the hallows of my cheeks and place a bright peachy pink color or orangey color on the apples of my cheeks and sweep back!

Tanisha Price Avatar

I make my cheeks pop by applying my favorite highlighter Albatross by NARS on the top of my blush at the highest point of my cheek bones.

Gen Avatar

I am new to blush so i went with a classic and bought Nars’ Orgasm Blush and Laguna Bronzer duo and the NARS Orgasm Illuminator. My cheeks are happy!

lunamaris Avatar

I like MACs Gentle Blush, it has just the right amount of shimmer as I don’t use a highlighter (because I think it highlights my skin-imperfections).

Cindy Avatar

to make my cheeks really pop i use a matte bronzer like Hoola under the apple of my cheeks then use high beam on the upper part where the sun hits naturally then i smile then place pinky blush on the apple of my cheeks 🙂

Freya Avatar

The easiest way to make your entire makeup look – look put together is by defining the cheeks and really making them pop. The easiest way is to contour the cheeks using a bronzer/contouring powder right under the cheekbones followed by a highlighter on the cheeks itself (think: Bobbi Brown powder in Aruba followed by MAC cremebase in SHELL/HUSH)-
OR if you have the blush ombres from the MAC Spring collection follow the gradation on your cheek – the darker color to contour your face and move it up to the lighter shade to add as a pop to the cheeks.

Works Wonders.

Sans Avatar

My favorite way to make my cheeks pop is to put a cream colour base first and than layer my blush ontop. My favourite combo is pearl or shell ccb (mac) with tippy (mac or super orgasam (nars)blush

Milessa Avatar

I have high cheek bones. I love wearing blush to make them pop. I then take a highlighter and sweep it a little higher up…to the temples. Super cool.

Nadia Avatar

I like contouring my cheeks with a matte bronzer and applying a highlighter to the tops of my cheekbones and on the apple of my cheek. Then I also apply blush on the apples and the highlighter underneath gives everything a nice sheen/glow. I especially like doing this with MAC’s Pearl cream colour base. It helps my blush last longer as well.

Elin Avatar

My favorite way to make my cheeks pop, is to take my favorite blush color at the moment, and apply it to the apple’s of my cheeks 🙂

Catherine Avatar

My favorite way to make cheeks pop is to wear a bright blush color (like R&R X-Rated) and then add just a touch of shimmer on the cheekbones (current favorite highlighter is Laura Mercier’s Gilded Garden Shimmer Bloc).

Caitlin Avatar

I have a shimmery peach blush (I have no idea where it’s from) and I love to use it every day for a little bit of a pop on my cheeks 🙂

Rachel Avatar

my all time favorite blush is benefit coralista! and then i like a little bit of highlighter, not actually on the cheekbones, but sort of under my eyes and closer in towards the nose, it sounds weird but it’s a really subtle way to brighten up your face

Christina8717 Avatar

my favourite way to make my cheeks pop is to use my stila contouring trio because it has a dark shade, a light shade, and a flash shade to contour and highlight some great bone structure!

16units2go Avatar

I contour, swipe the color of the day on the cheekbones, blend a tiny bit of “healthy” pink color just on the outer apples, and then use MAC Cream Color Base in “Pearl” above the main color. Pop!

Alice Avatar

To make my cheeks pop, I contour under my cheekbones with Nars Laguna, highlight above my cheekbones with Nars Albatross, and use MAC Shell Pearl beauty powder for the blush…it looks amaaazing on my light skin!

Marissa B Avatar

I love layering a nice pink cream blush under my blush so give me a really pretty, healthy glow 🙂 this blush looks perfect for that!

Proximity Avatar

Finding the perfect shape and placement made a huge difference for me. I was placing my blush too low for years! Now I know it needs to be higher on my cheek, and almost in a tear-drop shape.

Donna Avatar

I like to use a bright (but light because I’m very fair) apricot brush and put a bit of pearlized highlighter on top for that little extra luminosity…

MandiMomof3 Avatar

I use Illamasqua cream blushes. They are amazing! Make your skin look dewey but not sticky at all. And they last beautifully in our Hot Az Sun!

Madelynn Avatar

Contouring and highlighting makes all of the difference for me. Sometimes I won’t even but blush on after doing this. Looks more dramatic. :]

geisharock Avatar

My favourite way to make my cheeks pop is currently my newest buy – the Estee Lauder bronze goddess Exotic blush (the zebra/coral print one). Kinda late on the bandwagon with this purchase but it gives my cheeks a gorgeous glow and can even be used all over the face!

I retweeted the message too 🙂 twitter.com/geisharocks

Ashley Avatar

I like to use the NARS Amour blush on the apples and fade this towards the hairline, to give me a doll like look, which is not too much since the Amour isn’t a bright pink! And then using MAC Mineralize blush in Hand-finish on the cheek bones as a highlighter!

diana Avatar

to make my cheeks pop i use a bright pink blush like bobbi brown’s pale pink. i brush it from the apples to the high point of the cheekbones.

rukia Avatar

I apply pink blush then top it with a shimmery coral highlight. I use a natural tan powder to contour my cheekbones to make my cheek color more noticeable ^_^

Erin K Avatar

I love to use a coral or bright pink blush on the apples sweeping it back, then I use a highlighter on the cheek bones! I find that the best way to make my cheeks POP!

🙂

Michelle Pattison Avatar

The favorite way to make my cheeks pop is with a blush with a little peach colour in it with lots of pigment. Because I already have a lot of red in my skin redder blushes just look crazy. So as you can see Hipness would be PERFECT for me.

Aziza Avatar

i make sure to stipple on my blush with my MAC 188 and then i take a liquid gold-y highlighter and highlight the tops of my cheekbones
my cheeks definitely pop!

Mary Ann Avatar

I wear Margin blush most of the time because it goes so well with my medium skin tone – I use a MAC 116 and tap it on the apples of my cheeks to make them pop.

Joyce Avatar

I’m all about PINK makeup – I feel like it’s the only color that loves me ;P I like using a pinkish coral blush on my cheekbones, but not so much on the apples. I lightly brush the blush around the sides of my face too. When I use blush, I want to make sure the color is really visible!

HC Avatar

Favorite way to make my cheeks pop: Consume alcohol. Yay HEATER FACE! (aka Asian glow)

Best way to make my cheeks pop: MUFE HD Blush in #6. Loves!

JEN Avatar

i use the MAC cream colour base in virgin isle as a base and highlight with benefit’s high beam on my cheekbones. it makes blush pop a lot.

neeshie Avatar

I love an old product from Clinique called Lustre Rub to highlight…I’m almost at the end of my last bottle, I don’t know what I’m going to use next!

Gail Avatar

Oh my! Making my cheeks pop usually requires and msf or a workout. Im nw45 in complexion and what I normally use is Mac Cheeky Bronze Msf on my cheeks bones and then I usually use MAC’s Dollymix blush which is a sheer shimmer blush-so the color looks bright and vibrant in the pan but on it is sheer shimmering with gold flecks and is very buildable. The combination of the two is awesome and to be subtle I will blush with warm soul. Thare you have it!

Courtney Avatar

I make my cheeks pop by using a cream blush as a base and then a shimmering blush, like Nars’ Orgasm (my fav) on top just on the apples–gorgeous!!

Dawn Avatar

My favorite way to make my cheeks pop is by using Benefit’s Coralista on the apples of my cheeks with Nars’s Albatross as a highlighter on my cheek bones.

Mademosielle N. Avatar

Kelly Avatar

My favorite way to make my cheeks stand out is to apply a bright blush like pink or coral, then blend out the edges to make it look more natural. I then apply a highlighter to my cheekbones to make them really pop.

erieli Avatar

the way i make my cheeks pop is first i add a cream color base like hush to the apples of my cheeks then i add the desired color followed by an msf to highlight the top of my cheekbones. i find that my blush lasts all day if i apply the base 🙂

Vale Avatar

My favorite way to make my cheeks pop is highlighter! I love to use this in combination with a bright blush color and it just gives my cheeks the nicest glow :).

Carrie Avatar

I have a fairly warm skin tone, so I use bright peach or coral blush to make my cheeks pop. My favorites are MAC’s Ripe Peach and Springsheen blushes, and Benefit’s Coralista.

Mandy Avatar

With any blush, I love dusting MAC’s Rhapsody In Two over it to give my cheeks a nice sheen. When feeling more glamourous, I like using MAC’s Universal Mix pigment to add slight highlight and multi-colored shimmers to my cheeks and eyes.

yadira Avatar

I LOVE TO USE MAC 109 BRUSH AND A LIGHT HAND A VERY LIGHT HAND, WITH ONE SWIPE OF NARS EXHIBIT A, YOU HAVE TO USE A VERY LITTLE BIT BUT, AND APPLY IY TO THE APPLES OF MY CHEEKS, AND I BLEND ,BLEND, IT GIVES THE MOST NATURAL, CHEEK COLOR, I LOVE IT 🙂

Melissa Avatar

A pop of creamy pink blush on the apple of the cheek, bronzer on the cheekbone itself, and a sweep of highlighter on top-voila!

Kaylee D Avatar

I put a little bit of Smith’s Rosebud Salve underneath powder blushes to provide a base for the blush to stick to – much cheaper than getting a cream blush or base, and it works just as well 🙂 My color stays all day and I find that the pinky-red color of the salve makes the blush pop on my cheeks!

Zoe Avatar

I love to make my VERY PALE freckled cheeks pop with a natural brush of color from Benefit dandelion followed by benefit highbeam on the cheekbones. It gives me a moviestar meets girl next door fresh look.

eblu Avatar

my fav way to make my cheeks pop is to use a cream blush that’s more nude/neutral underneath w/ a brighter, more coral-based powder blush on top =]

Stephanie Avatar

I think contouring with a bronzer really makes my cheeks stand out more than anything, but to really amp it up, I like to apply a bright baby pink blush to my cheekbones with a nice shimmery highlighter on top.

Marina Tozo Avatar

I’m addicted to NARS Orgams (i wrote it first without the NARS on front of it, and it didn’t looked like I was talking about makeup AT ALL! lol) so my favorite way is to make my cheeks pop is to apply it with a little smile on my face!

TheJoey Avatar

As I put on my concealer I like to but on benefit’s posietint just past the apples of my cheeks spreading towards my hair line. I find this takes away some of the attention form my red nose because the tint is more vibrant. Then I apply my foundation and powder and put my blush of the day on. The I put on a little bit of highlighter on the outside half of my cheek bones. If I put it on the apples it makes my face look puffy.

Allie Avatar

I usually stick with NARS to get that pop. Sometimes I use Maybelline’s Cream Mousse Blush since it is so hot here in Texas and the cream tends to last longer for me.

Elizabeth B Avatar

I would love to try this blush. I use MAC’s strobe cream with my everyday makeup to add radiance to my cheeks. It’s like magic in a bottle!

Haley Avatar

i love blush that has a peachier tone and a shimmer to it, if there is no shimmer i will take a pigment by NYX (can’t for the life of my remember the name of it) and brush that right on the apples to get the nice shimmery sparkle 😀

Nazia Avatar

During the winter months, I’ll use a little bit of MAC vanilla pigment as a highlighter to make them pop. But during the summer months I’ll start to use MAC lustre drops, but my all time fave is using melon pigment as a higlighter!!!

karina Avatar

I like mixing diferents shades and textures of blush, it look more intense but also more natural. For example I love MAC Posey or MAC Just a Pinch (gel blush)and some soft pink powder blush on the top.

Step Avatar

I layer a nude blush with a brighter blush. The nude is used more like a contour and the bright is more toward the apples of the cheek. Then I blend and buff til it looks smooth and subtle.

Meghann Avatar

To really make my cheeks pop, I use Bobbi Brown blush in (4) Almond and then Bobbi Brown in (7) soft pink to give it that pop or MAC’s vintage grape blush ombre from the Color Forecast collection, using the lighter part of the blush on the upper part of the cheek bone and the darker part on the bottom.

Piper Avatar

I retweeted @thepipes

to make cheeks pop I put some highlighter shimmer underneath my foundation and it really comes through and makes the blush like a light from within!

Tatyana Avatar

My favorite way to make my cheeks pop is to use a color that is about 2 to 3 tones darker than my skin tone, and then apply highlight on highest points of my cheeks and blend everything together. 🙂 Thank you for this contest.

Jenny Avatar

My favorite way of making my cheeks pop is to sculpt them out first! I’m not blessed with high cheekbones so this is my way out of creating that illusion of poppin’ cheeks 😉

Beck Avatar

My favorite way to “make my cheeks pop” is to use a cream based blush product first with the MAC 187 “skunk” brush, then I swirl a complementing powder blush over the apples of my cheeks. The base of the cream based product seems to give the powder blush a canvas to cling to and creast an over all brighter pop of color.

Wendy Avatar

I like to put pink blush on the apples of my cheeks and then blend up, but mostly having the color concentrated on the apples of my cheeks. I also like to highlight them with a dot illuminator I have from Clinique on my cheekbones and blend so create light. 🙂

Samantha Avatar

I always always, ESPECIALLY at night use a highlighter on the tops of my cheeks. I feel it’s the step that brings them out the most.

Grete Sofie Borud Nybakken Avatar

I love using a raspberry pink blusher with MAC Perfect Topping MSF on top of the cheekbone, and a subtle brown contour under the cheekbone!

Angela Avatar

I use Bobbi Brown shimmer brick in the pink color. The darker portion for blush and the lighter colors for highlight. The shimmer brings in an extra pop for the sunlight. I also tried using the Mac Blush Ombre, the darker part toward the back part of the cheek bone near the temple and the light part on the apple of the cheek (A youtube guru used this technique in her recent video, can’t remember which one but it looked gorgeous, maybe JulieG713.)

Julia Avatar

My favorite way to make my cheeks is b adding like a golden shimmer across my cheeks or above the blush applied to my cheeks as highlight . Great for the summer time and gives you a nice bronzed look.

jenica Avatar

To make my cheeks pop, first I apply cream blush lighter shade for base then apply my blush powder using light hand with my angled blush..then I apply my favorite highlighter. =)

Leah Avatar

I love to first put down a creme color base in order for my blush to last a long time and then put a coral color on top in order to make it stand out, but not a crazy stand out a good kind 🙂

Sylvie Avatar

I put on my blush as usual, but contour using MAC Sculpt and a 165 brush. Not that into highlighting though, because I can’t see the difference.

Jennifer Avatar

I like to do a little contouring under my cheekbones, blend that with a deep coral blush and add a pinky highlighter for some glow.

Nicole Avatar

I love to use my peachykeen mac blush on the apples of my cheek then i dip my finger in naked pigment and dap it above the apples of my cheeks and templed to make my cheeks pop!

Cristin Avatar

I love to use orange blushes and then highlight the cheek bones with a shimmery blush or powder like MAC’s Peachtwist, MAC’s Trace Gold, or LORAC’s bronzer =)

Jenni Avatar

I have high cheek bones as it is, so I don’t really have any tricks/tips for making my cheeks pop! I usually just dab on blush (current fav is Instant Chic) on the apples of my cheeks and then blend it upward.

Kat Avatar

A teeny tiny bit of my Body Shop cheek stain on the apples of my cheek, and a pinky cream highlighter on the cheekbone. Looks neat, natural and pulled-together!

Diana Avatar

my favorite way to make my cheeks pop is by applying a matte bronzer in the hollows of my cheeks and a bright coral blush to the apples of my cheeks!

Joy Avatar

a little highlighter on my cheeks! i have naturally flushed cheeks, but Hipness actually intrigues me more than Marine Life High Light when it comes to my list of purchases for next week’s release!

Sanee Avatar

I like to apply a pink cream blush the a sweep of a peachy pink powder blush over it then buff it out with my kabuki brush that still has a little bit of foundation on it to take away any harsh lines giving it a pop yet subtle look for the cheeks!

Jenna Avatar

i like to use L’oreal true match blush in innocent flush, its a light coral pink that makes my face glow and then I liek to use a bit of light gold eyeshadow on the cheekbone to make them shien in the light 🙂

Andreja Avatar

Hi, I use a powder blush in pink or peachy color. It works wonderfully for me and my skin colour.

I retweted you on Twitter (melanie_mel).

Have fun!

Jackie Avatar

i’ll be honest, other than my mineral skinfinish for highlight, i have no idea how to make my cheeks pop :[ i bought instant chic but it seems to blend too much to my skin tone

*Megan* Avatar

Actually, for me, it’s to make sure that I wear blush! I have high cheekbones already so a pop of color really make them POP!!! I love blushes and I have about 50 of them…mostly MAC and Nars. 🙂

sonia Avatar

My favourite way to make my cheeks pop is to contour with elf bronze duo, add mac dainty on the apple and add mac by candlelight as a highlight.

Mary Thi Avatar

Anne Avatar

Well, to be honest, I don’t want my cheeks to “pop.” (Kinda sounds like the mumps, doesn’t it? :-P) And I have a dread of blush that makes you look like a burn victim. I do like to give the illusion of cheekbones, though, so I angle the blush (I like BeneFit’s Dandelion) to make it appear that I have hollows in my cheeks.

Erica Avatar

my favorite way to make my cheeks pop is by putting a orangey cream blush first and then a powered peach blush on top of it to “set” it. My favorite combo is mac optimistic orange cremeblend blush with mac spaced out blush on top (:

Maria Avatar

I’ll be honest – I SUCK at making my cheeks pop. I always feel very self concious about how they look when I go out. Odd…. However i’m slowly learning! 🙂

Kat Avatar

During the winter when my skin is dry and I start looking dead, I use a cheek stain to give my cheeks a flush then layer just a tiny bit of vaseline on the cheek bones to give it the just-got-out-of-a-hot-shower fresh glow. You really do look awake and bright.

I love, love Honour blush by MAC to highlight. If I know I will be in the sunlight, or that someone will be close to my face long enough to notice, I brush Honour along my cheek bones and up into my temple making the C shape around my brow. You know, typical highlighting. Then i use Sugarbomb by Benefit as a blush (I’m very pale so this doesn’t necessarily highlight me like it does some). Then, I look highlighted and have a pink glow… Nice and healthy! 🙂

tyana Avatar

Lani Avatar

I normally wear a pink cream blush then top it off with a brighter pink blush to really make my cheeks pop. I’m loving pink blushes right now.

Lauren Avatar

I don’t put my blush right on the apples – it makes my face look more round, so I use my blush almost like a contour and put it between the hollows of my cheeks and the apples (if you know what I mean), and then I put a highlighter on my cheekbones and a little on the apples. 🙂

Kianna Avatar

I use MAC’s Gingerly blush and then Physician’s Formula Shimmer Strips in Sunset Strip all in swipe and then put it on my apples of my cheek.

Kim Avatar

Some times I contour, but I always highlight with a very pale shimmer (the duos MSF, natural and then shimmer. . . i find the shimmer is perfect). Then focus my blush not on the apples but on the actual cheek bone.

Charlotte Avatar

Use a slightly shimmery blush and apply with an angled brush where your cheekbones are/should be! I’ve never tried contouring with bronzer but I think that might help too.

Li Avatar

Tahitian Sand beauty powder lightly from temples to cheeks and then Fun n Games blush on the apples of the cheeks makes my face just glow. Add a little bronzer in the hollows and Astral Rays glimmer shimmer on the cheekbones to make them pop that little bit more.

Paula Avatar

First I contour using a MSF natural that is a shade darker than me. Then I use some random cream blush, followed by any peachy pink powder blush. Then I will either use NARS Multiple in Copacabana, or take any vanilla-colored eyeshadow to highlight my cheekbones! 🙂

Leli Avatar

bronzer on my cheekbone then some bronzed-coral blush (like sunbusque!) over it and a tiny little bit of hot blush on my apples!

Nola Avatar

I have very fair skin, so I use mostly light pink/light peach blushes with a little bit of shimmer – my picks are usually MAC Blooming, MAC Well Dressed or MAC Dainty – I love the glow they give, I use them all the time! For special occasions, I also contour my face with very, very fair bronzer (which is really hard to find, they all tend to look orangey on me, but I have a favorite one which is just perfect), and then apply fair, shimmery blush. Now, I would like to try something a little bit more pigmented – like Hipness 🙂

Karina Avatar

I make sure my face is even–properly blended concealer and BB cream. Then I apply a watermelon pink blush right up to the hairline for some definition to my round face 🙂

I love a nice bright pink blush like Dollymix to make my cheeks pop, I usually like to add a bit of Vanilla pigment as a highlight to accentuate the pink on my cheekbones for ultimate POP appeal 🙂

Kim Avatar

Stipple cream blush, blend with kabuki brush, brush on powder blush in like/complementary colour & blend blend blend with kabuki… fresh flush that lasts ALL day without fail 🙂 Thanks for the giveaway – luv your site !

Shirley Avatar

I don’t really like making my ‘cheeks’ pop since my cheeks are super chubby already 🙁 I try to contour my face so that they.. look less chubby, haha.

althea Avatar

contouring the cheeks with a little bronzer. applying pearl ccb on top of the cheekbones then just a dash of bright blush (dollymix, smashbox radiance) on the apples. 🙂

sarah k Avatar

I’ve been playing around with blushes & I absolutely LOVE wearing coral blush and applying it w/ my MAC 129 😀

Bronzer is also a MUST for contouring the cheeks cuz I need to look slimmer! 🙂

Diligent Shopper Avatar

I don’t like my cheeks to be the centre of attention on my face. I don’t have prominent cheekbones and my face is quite puffy 🙁

But if I wanted my cheeks to stand out, I would wear my Penny Lane cream blush as a base on the sides of my cheekbone. I would layer my Josie Maran Blossom blush on top. I don’t like to put blush on top of the apples of my cheeks because I think it makes me look fatter. If I put it on the outer part of my cheek bones, it slims down my face a little bit. Kind of like how NARS’ poster or ad usually display their models with blush

I really hope I won this.. This blush looks beautiful. And can I enter the contest if I live in Canada??

Karli Avatar

I use a bright, cool pink (matte) on the apples of my cheeks. And then a really light milky pink as a highlight (I prefer matte for this, but sometimes I use shimmer too.)

Laura Avatar

I recently started doing this…

I apply MAC RedHead MSF to the hollows of my cheek, up around my temple and lightly brushed along my jaw line. Then, I apply MAC Pearl CCB to my cheek bones and top with BE Flawless Radiance (it has golden shimmer that warms up the highlight). Finally, I apply MAC Tippy blush to the apples of my cheeks…really, any HOT PINK will do! All my super bright pink blushes have just been sitting in a drawer until I realized how GREAT they look applied over a warm bronzer! TRY IT!!!

BTW….LOVE the new page look! FABULOUS!!! Thanks for the giveaway! I would kill to win any of them!! 🙂 Much love!

nicole Avatar

I apply a nice subtle wash on the apples of my cheeks with a nice pink blush to make them pop. Sometimes I use a highlighter as well.

Marina Avatar

To make my cheeks pop out, I brush peach/coral blush color or sometimes I add a little bit of highlighter afterward at the apples of my cheeks. Since I’m tan I don’t need bronzer since my cheekbones are high. I have a round face, I tried to make my face appear smaller instead of bigger.

Brigitte Avatar

I love using bronzer, blush, and a gold highlighter to give my face a really amazing warm gold goddess appearance. I love using Albatross on top of Smashbox Photo Op brightener. 🙂

Jenn Avatar

A drag queen friend of mine taught me a great trick. He carries scotch tape around in his makeup case, and after his foundation he runs a piece of scotch tape under each cheekbone. A smallish brush with the contour powder gets dusted super lightly over the top of the tape, the tape gets taken off, the contour blended out, and then blush and highlighter to blend further. Perfect!

danielle montes Avatar

I luv using either Lorac Illuminator or MAC mineral blush in Rhapsody in two (the shimmery color) then follow w/ blush and MAC Fix+!

danielle montes Avatar

I luv using either Lorac Illuminator or MAC Mineral Blush in Rhapsody in two (the shimmery highlighter) to highlight then apply blush and MAC Fix+

Emily Avatar

I love accentuating my cheekbone so i buff Nars Orgasm all over the apples of my cheeks and dust a touch of MAC’s Soft ang Gentle highligther on the highest part of my cheekbones!

karen Avatar

To make my cheeks pop I use a opaque shimmery cream blush like nars cream blush turkish red under a sheer foundation like MUFE F&B so it looks natural and it looks like a glow from within.

Michelle Avatar

My favourite way to make my cheekspop is to use a darker taupe/pink colour on my cheeks! it’s like contouring and blush in one!

Alexandra Avatar

I love applying Stila’s convertible color in Petunia first to my apples, then adding my favorite blush- NARS Orgasm. It’s the perfect combo!!!

Alicia Avatar

I like to use a pink or peachy pink blush with a shimmery highlight powder on the cheek bones thats how i make my cheeks pop!

Marissa S. Avatar

I LOVE to wear a softer, lighter pink on my cheeks (not on my apples) and then a brighter, hotter pink on the apples of my cheeks!!

Carla Avatar

i like to contour with bronzer, put a subtle non-shimmery pink blush like MAC’s Blushbaby and top it off lightly with shimmery pink or peach blush! POW!

Valerie Avatar

I have somewhat dark tan skin with pink undertones so it’s hard to find a blush that’ll really make my cheeks pop, but i love using Love Thing by mac. It’s pretty dark so it makes them pop without too much product. 🙂

Wendy T. Avatar

I first contour my cheekbones, then use a sheer powder like MAC Beauty Powder in Shell Pearl or cream blush as a base all over the cheeks, then a brighter blush color at the apples. Lastly, highlighter at the top of the cheekbones is a must!!!

u mac me happy Avatar

I use mac bronzing or sculpt powders and then a blush on my cheeks. when i wear liquid foundations I bring out my cream blushes to hold the blush in place all day and all night. One of my favourite blushes is Secret Beauty Powder Blush. I need a nice coral so I would love to get my hands (and cheeks) on hipness… definitely on my must have list when To the Beach comes out 🙂

Susum Avatar

I like to contour my face first to give some definition and then i mix a light and bright pink powder blush together and place in on the apples of my cheeks. Lastly, i use benefit high beam and hight light the temples of the face to make my cheeks stand out.

Lexus thomas Avatar

I like to use a nice pale pink to make my blush look natural and light, but it makes everything come together and makes everything POP !

Sarah Avatar

My favourite way to make my cheeks pop is to use a really natural blush shade, something that compliments your skin tone, then using a highlighter on the highs of your cheek bones sweeping back towards the temples. I use a fluffly angled brush from Sigma and its amazing!

Mindee Larsen Avatar

I love bright pink blush and if i don’t have any blush on hand i will take pink or red lipstick and blot it on my cheeks and rub it in! It looks great! 🙂

Ashley Avatar

I have major redness in my cheeks so to TAME it I used a mint shade mineral powder concealer. If I didn’t do that, I could not use blush what so ever! So actually, my cheeks already pop in a bad way but concealer makes it pop in a natural way 🙂

Janet Avatar

I like dusting some shimmery gold highlighter right on top of my blush for a gorgeous pop! I also like using a matte cream blush for a natural flush.

Scarlett177 Avatar

My favorite way to make my cheeks pop is with a pink or pink-peach color on the apples and nude blush under the cheekbones.

Amanda Avatar

I’d love to win this blush! I have really chubby cheeks so I love to make them pop everytime I smile. This would be a great addition to my growing collection 😀
Thank you, keep it up!

raquel Avatar

I like to make my cheeks POP by throwing on a cream blush first, adding a bit of powder highlight and then swirling those babies together! That, or a natural “blush” from a few hot minutes with my man! he he!

Arielle Avatar

i like to use blush and apply it with an angled brush, and place it on the apples of my cheeks and blending it out to make it loook natural but with a bright pink pop in the center

Sarah Avatar

I like to use a pink or peachy blush on just the apples of my cheeks, and highlighter (I use MAC soft&gentle) in a “C” shape from my temple down to right on top of my cheekbones. I usually use a light dusting of bronzer all over, but I definitely concentrate some in the hollows of my cheeks for a light contour.

Clara Avatar

I highlight my cheekbones 99% of the time with a white shimmery powder and I also contour my face. For my cheeks I usually wear blushes with shimmer in it!

Mai Avatar

i like to use 3 colors. highlight, a med color, and a darker one.highlight above my cheeks, med cold on the apples of my cheeks( real light), and a darker color right below to contour.

Francesca Avatar

I make my cheeks pop with a bronze-pink blush like Dallas from Benefit right below my cheekbone up to my hairline. The bronze gives me the pretty summer glow that I love.

Madee Avatar

By using it just on the apples of the cheek, either really light or really heavy with a little tiny big of a highlighter, it really makes your cheeks pop

Huguette Avatar

My favorite way to make my cheeks blush is with exercise, love that pink it gives my cheeks 🙂 Second is with blush, but I haven’t found a favorite yet.

Nicole Avatar

Wow – I cannot believe the number of comments!
I love using a corally pink creme blush (either Stila’s convertible colour in Gerbera or Bobbi Brown pot rouge in Calypso Coral are my current favourites) on the apples of my cheeks (under powder so it looks like a natural ‘glow’) and then a light sweep of Nars Albatross to highlight and a light sweep of Nars Lustre (a beautiful peachy gold) just under the Albatross.

Angel Avatar

To really make my cheeks pop…

I apply smashbox O-GLOW to my cheeks as a base. Thereafter I like to use either Smashbox blush in ‘Radiance’ or MAC’s blush in ‘Dollymix’ or “Blush Ombre in Azalea Blossom” with an angled brush. Sometimes instead of the O-GLOW, I apply MAC’s cream colour base in ‘Hush’ or a creme blush before I apply the powder blush.

Thanks for this opportunity Xx

Kell Avatar

Fav way to make my cheeks pop: Bronze my face in the right places, berry-pink blush on the apples, little contour under the cheekbones, and highlight diagonally from the top of the cheekbone onto the apple. I tweeted too 🙂

Aileen Avatar

I contour slightly with my Nars Laguna bronzer, use my blush of the day on my cheeks and highlight with one of my MAC MSFs or Hush CCB.

EmiMakeup Avatar

I like layering powder blush OVER a similar cream blush, for better staying power and better color payoff. It also helps with that “dewy” look that we all love =]

Mariela Avatar

My favorite way to make my cheeks pop ! Is by appplying firt a soft pink glitter by Stila al over the face and with a large brush I take my favorite blush color (im really into bronze & peachy colors), I apply it all over the cheeks and later apply the color I like. I also use a light eyeshadow color over the lids so that my cheeks can pop ! =D

Erin Avatar

I love using a little bit of cream blush with an MSF on top to make my cheeks pop. But this blush would be nice too!!
Following on Twitter Nvrenoughnails

Tina Avatar

Smile and using a contouring angled brush (I tried other brushes, but this is the one I personally prefer) lightly apply the blush on the apples and blend it all the way up to the lower part of my temples

Egle Avatar

I love using bright pink blushes and then a highlighter on the top. Like Nars Orgasm highlighter or MAC Mineralize Skinfinish. Just make sure it’s not too much!
*Having gorgeous cheekbones helps too!

Jen Avatar

I do the usual by smiling and putting a peachy-pink color (color depends on the darkness of my tan) and put blush on the apples of my cheeks; I also apply it to my nose/forehead/chin (where the sun hits) to really make my whole face brighten up.

Emma Avatar

It really depends on my mood – but now I’ve been using more intense colours, such as hot pinks, corals and peaches. (Hipness blush fits perfectly in that colour wheel of mine 😉
My favorite cheek combination is contouring with a matte bronzer and then applying the blush of the moment on the outer side af the apples, and sweeping it backwards, pretty basic, I know 😉

Kerry Avatar

My favourite way to make my cheeks pop is to add a bright, peachy pink blush, and then highlight my cheekbones with a shimmery white colour. It looks fab! 🙂

Hipona Avatar

I always contour and highlight before. Then, I like to put a small amout of a really bright blush (NARS Exhibit A, Taj Mahal, Desire…)in the apples of my cheeks and blend well.

alex Avatar

I like to use coral-pinkish blush, lightly. Then I add a little beauty powder (PEARL SHELL) or illuminator (HIGH BEAM) on my upper part of the chick bones. This is it for natural glowy look 🙂

Farida Avatar

I use cream blush before applying powder blush. This way, you get this beautiful glow underneath and it last so much longer.

THX!

Shannon Avatar

I have naturally rosy cheeks but it can be too much sometimes. So to tone them down and make them pop I put on my MSF natural from MAC over my cheeks to give me that natural subtle flush.

Jennifer Avatar

I make my cheeks pop by utilizing contour and highlight powders. I don’t have cheekbones at all, but I follow the ‘fake it ’till you make it’ philosophy. 🙂

Yumika Avatar

For me highlights! I adore my cheek highlight yet have not found one I adore. Highlights just bring light to the area and really make them pop in my opinion 🙂

DUlceee Avatar

i ALWAYS use a pink blush with a highlighter in a coraly tone.. it’s the routine that i wear the most of the time in my cheeks!

Cynthia Avatar

When I really want to “fake” cheekbones, and make them pop, I’ll contour with a matte bronzer (Benefit Hoola is my go-to). I’m emphasize the apples of the cheek with a pink-ish cream or gel blush. Generally a cooler pink in Fall/Winter and a warmer pink in Spring/Summer. I top that with a matching powder blush, and blend. I usually highlight with MAC’s Refined or Perfect Topping MSF. Seems like a lot to do, but it takes very little time, and the cream blush really helps keep the powder from fading!

Kimoy Avatar

Favourite way to make my cheeks pop is to use a pink or raspberry shade of blush and use of very light golden highlighter. I even use my eye shadow (vanilla) to contour my upper cheeks when I’m desparate!

MermaidBird Avatar

I have high cheekbones, so I make my cheeks pop by sweeping on a golden pink blush. I focus my color on the apples of my cheeks then blend up and out subtly for a slightly innocent look and add a light sweep of highlight on my cheekbones.

MissDeeCanada Avatar

My favorite way to make my cheeks pop is by wearing a nice bold colour on them! I am a fan of cream blushes as well. SOmetimes if you use a CCB or Cream blush under a powder blush it will help it last all day long!

Keira Avatar

I use soft and gentle to give my cheeks a nice dewy sheen, and I use m.a.cs Sunbasque on the apples of my cheeks veryyy lightly. (:

fi Avatar

I love using Maybelline’s mousse blush as it is easy to blend and gives a pretty flush of colour. It lasts all day if set with powder 🙂 Thanks

clementine Avatar

I actually try to tone mine down, haha. They’re really high, so I usually blend some pink blush towards the ear for a natural effect.

Sonia S Avatar

I like making my cheeks pop by starting with a nice flawless face, keeping my eyes really simple, and doing a brighter colour like dolly mix.

irisalonso Avatar

I just take my maroon blush to look a bit bronze at the bone just in the outer part of my face and on the cheeks a pink one!!

Ashley Avatar

To draw focus to my cheeks, I contour with a bronzer, then use a light baby pink blush on the apples and lastly I use a luminizer a little bit over the blush.

Angela K Avatar

I use a highlighter along with a plum-toned blush – it really helps bring out my cheekbones and complements my skintone. I’d really like to try this blush, too!

gabriela Avatar

my favorite to make my checks pop is by applying a bright pink right to the apples of my checks. It gives it something a little extra then just adding any old pink.

Meg Radford Avatar

I like putting Annabelle golden bronzer in the hollows of my cheeks and up to my temples, MAC mineralize blush in Gentle right on the apples, and a light pink/peach shimmery eyeshadow (either Annabelle or the Balm) as a highlight!
Great contest! 🙂

Jess Avatar

Neeta Avatar

Coral really suits my skintone…so I apply a coral shade (my fave of the moment is MAC Instant Chic) and then a highlighter on top…looks awesome for summer especially!

Yunii Avatar

I combine a highlighter, a blush and a contour color to make my cheeks pop! it might sound quite generic but when you work these three elements the best way you can, by blending them together on the right places, you can really make your cheeks pop!

Petra Avatar

I like to use either my Guerlain bronzer (sans shimmer) or my Mac sculpting powder to softly contour, and then apply a pinky-coral shade on the apples of my cheek, because this colour is the most natural yet flatterong on me. (so i’d love this blush :)). I finish by highlighting with something very subtle/finely milled shimmer.

Holladay Avatar

I love cream blushes in bright pinks or peach colors to make it look like Im naturally flushed that color. That plus some soft natural bronzer, and Im set!

Z Avatar

To make cheeks pop: use luna ccb or soft and gentle as highlighter, add a matte bronzer under cheek bone and temples to slim face, add dainty blush on apples of the cheeks. =D

Marjolijn Avatar

A bright color right on the apples of the cheek and faded out backward, following the cheekbone. And then a subtle highlighter on top of the cheekbone to make my cheeks glow and my face look dimensional and sculpted!

Sanna Avatar

I use a coraly pink, such as NARS Orgasm or MAC Instant Chic in a kind of rounded triangular shape from the apple softening up towards my temple. If that makes any sense…

Elizabeth Avatar

I like using a light pink cream blush, with Smashboxs’ Hydrating Halo Perfecting Powder over it. Really gives a healthy glow to my cheeks!

LB Avatar

Because I have round cheeks already, I do not apply my blush on the apples of my cheeks. Instead, I use the technique a MU artist showed me: I apply it at an angle on my cheekbone and then sweep up to my temples. It emphasizes my cheekbones and makes those pop (as opposed to the very round apples that otherwise take over my entire face).

Stacie Avatar

I love a bright pink or peach tone with an angled brush on my cheekbone. A shimmery highlight on top to make the cheeks pop!

Danielle Avatar

I use a shimmery peachy blush on the apples of my cheeks than add a little to the bridge of my nose and forehead to get a slight shimmery glow. I’m not a big fan of bronzer so this is a nice alternative.

Amanda Avatar

To make my cheeks pop I like to contour with nyx taupe blush, pop a bright blush on the middle of my cheek bones and use a shimmering highlighter on the tops of my cheekbones and blend!

Shela Tat Avatar

I like to layer a highlighting powder over a MAC mineralize blush but lustre drops and NARS multiples work well for me too.

Zenaida Avatar

I love to dust a matte-ish bronzer lightly on top of my cheek bones and then layer a bright coral, pink, or orange on top of that.

Bananabelle Avatar

My favorite way to make my cheeks pop is to buff Porcelain Pink MSF over NARS Orgasm Cream Blush. The cream + powder combo also makes for a lasting combination!

Jasmine Avatar

I like to layer my blush – to put a cream or liquid on first and then layer a powder on top. It gives it dimension and it lasts ALL day even in heart weather.

SweetMarie Avatar

I make my cheeks pop by first using a contour color, then a bright pink on the apples. Lastly, a dash of highlight across my cheekbone.

Kimber Avatar

I apply a liquid highlighter (like Benefit’s HighBeam) to my cheeks & cheek bones before my foundation. Then use Posey from MAC (cream blush) to get a really natural flush that really makes my cheeks pop with a healthy looking glow.

Lisa Avatar

To make my cheeks pop, I put a matte blush on, starting with the apples of my cheeks & moving up my cheekbones. Then I put on a highlight (usually a MAC MSF), on the very top of my cheekbone. Viola!

When putting on blush, I always put on Nars Orgasm first, right on the apple of my cheeks and then I will top it with another blush (the main blush). The Nars blush undertone gives me just a peek of pink which I feel highlights my cheeks, but it isn’t overstated because my main blush will tone it down.

Krys Avatar

I usually use a simple coral blush on the apples of my cheek daily but when I really want them to pop I pull out a discontinued cream blush from lancome. It is pink not coral and has a little extra sparkle that makes me glow in the summer!

Linda Avatar

peach pink blush gives me natural and flattering glow.

Riki Avatar

the way i like making my cheecks pop will work with just about any color of blush for me. almost all my blushes are matte but at nights i love adding a peachy or pink gentle shimmer on top of them – i mostly looove using the shimmery side of Pupa’s ‘Luminys Baked All Over’ which just upgrades just about any makeup! <3
