Black Opal Orchid Baked Blush Review, Photos, Swatches
Black Opal Orchid Baked Blush
Black Opal Orchid Baked Blush ($8.95 for 0.09 oz.) is a muted, medium rosy plum with gold sparkle. MAC Gentle (P, $29.00) is darker, cooler (90% similar). Estee Lauder Mauve Mystique (P, $34.00) is darker, cooler (90% similar). Zoeva Supreme (P, $26.00) is more shimmery, lighter, cooler (85% similar). NARS Sexual Content (Right) (LE, ) is cooler (80% similar). See comparison swatches / view dupes side-by-side.
The formula is described as a “luxurious powder blush” with “silky smooth application” that yields a “radiant glow” and a “delicate flush of color.” The latter seems to suggest a sheerer formulation. The texture was somewhat dry and dusty, though it was blendable on the skin, and it did not look powdery on. It had sheer coverage that was buildable to semi-sheer but not much more than that. The color is gorgeous, and the finish is soft and luminous, though there was obvious sparkle on the skin that seemed unnecessary as it is quite sparse so it doesn’t really add anything. It lasted for six and a half hours on me before fading.

This is also a lovely color. And I personally don’t mind that it’s one the sheerer side.
Sounds like it could work for you then! 🙂
The swatch doesn’t look that great, but it looks pretty on the cheeks
That seems to be the story of these blushes 🙁
Pretty colour, interesting there are only a few dupes for it.
I was surprised!
I don’t mind the sheerness. The sparkle might be strange but it’s a nice one for the price.
