I already know I’m going to get Otherearthly and a few of the skinfinishes from the other collection. I kind of can’t wait! I hope these don’t sell out crazy fast.
When will these be coming out? I want the Ionized lipstick!
Maybe not on the hand – but on the lips, all the lip glosses look the same. I’m really perplexed as to why M•A•C would do this. Also is is the same clear with sparkles lipgloss that they have in every collection. I do love the mineralized skin finish an that one blue shadow.
Not feeling the love on this one. I’ll most likely be passing. Can’t wait for your reviews though.
Full Orbit is really reminiscent of their Pure Bred quad from fall (I have that one and love it; this looks like a less lovely cousin) and it seems an odd colour choice for spring, when most of us crave something lighter and brighter. I’ll be really interested to see your comments on Other Earthly – it looks so interesting but from the swatches, it seems both too glittery and too warm for me but who knows? I’m also interested in Warm Rose but will want to see the dupes as I think I probably have many for this one – simply because it is the sort of powder I have a weakness for.
Those glosses all pretty much look the same. I hate when MAC does that.
Antonia, I was thinking the exact same thing. The lipstick colours look downright depressing, too – it’s SPRING – give us something nice than putty-looking shades.
I was thinking the same thing. Couldn’t that pink lipstick be more opaque? Some colors in this collection look dingy.
I haven’t purchased a single MAC item from an LE collection in ages and it looks like this collection isn’t going to be the game changer.
Same here! Nothing ever stands out…their collections are so boring…..I do like their permanent line, though.

Just like I thought, nothing I get too excited about. Too shimmery and too sheer for my taste.
Not too impressd. I’ll watch for the review on the full orbit quad and other earthly skinfinish. But, it looks like a million things I own honestly.
I have to say I like the look of Dark Energy, just love those cool colours. Full Orbit also piques my interest. However I don’t think I’ll be buying.
The Otherworldly Skin Finish is too shimmery for me, but looks good. And Full Orbit shadow #4 looks really beautiful wet, but the rest of the collection looks very disappointing. The lip glosses look like the usual, all of the lipsticks would give me zombie lips, and almost all of the shadows look either mediocre, faded, or outright disasters. I think Dark Energy#4 shadow is another Carbon in disguise
This collection is a total pass for me, the only exception being Otherearthly.
Otherearthly Mineralize Skinfinish is the only thing I like. The sparkle in the glosses is lovely, but they all looks the same. I think this collection is probably going to be a huge pass for me. I like the concept and originality of doing a futuristic collection for spring, but I think they played it too safe.
totally agree Rachel!!!! Such a great sci-fi concept, but boring execution. One brand I love that does the sci-fi thing to the hilt is OCC. When they go sci-fi, they go full-stop! 😉
I love the colors in the Dark Energy and Full Orbit quads, but it looks like you need to apply with a damp brush to get the kind of intensity I like! I still feel like I’ve got to have Ionized, I think it would look great layered with Ardency Inn Black is Blue.
This collection will be an easy pass for me. I like to see MAC launching something more unique than, say, the Charlotte Olympia collection, but very few of these shades would look flattering on me.
I really like the colors in the Full Orbit palette. Also Ionized. However, I’m more inclined to look for dupes than buy from MAC (though Ionized looks like it’d be hard to dupe). When is this coming out? It looks like a half Spring / half Summer palette.
Yes to Otherearthly!!!! Probably Interspacial, too, since the Mineralize Lipglasses work nicely on my dry lips to add a soft gleam to a too-dry lipstick.
Other than those, I am less than impressed with this collection. Those lipsticks look like DEATH.

MAC has really been boring me lately. Feels like some of these LE collections are just thrown together and the quality is meh.
Need to have the skin finishes. I think the lipsticks won’t work on me. And in general I do not like glitter in glosses.
I love the look of other earthly skin finish, but I wonder how warm it would pull on my NC 20 skin tone. Would probably have to be used as a blush, but I have a ton of shimmery warm pinky/coral blushes. So…..??? The rest is an EASY pass!!!
This is an interesting collection, full of hits and misses. I think the misses are the lip glosses – most of them look the same and some of them look awful. The lipsticks aren’t great either.
The Otherearthly – is it cushion foundation or highlighter – not sure – but it looks lovely.
The eye quads contain some lovely colours, but some of the swatches look patchy. It will be interesting to read your review Christine.
I like Dark Energy 3, I’m interested in Warm Rose and Ionized lipstick. I do doubt I’m interested enough to buy, though.

I like Full Orbit. Looks like it would be easy to wear and not over-the-top shimmery. I don’t understand the glosses at all. Maybe the differences are hard to capture on camera, but personally would never buy them.
I’m really excited to see Ionize!!! It looks like a beautiful greige and I love my lipsticks to be a little on the sheer side.
I am definitely getting Otherearthly. I was really hoping for more of a Heavenly Creature collection vibe when I heard about the Future MAC collection.
Am I missing something by not trying MAC? I don’t avoid the brand but have a spinal cord injury that makes in more comfortable to park close. The stores in my area that meet those requirements, don’t carry MAC. If I need to, I will make more of an effort though.
I mean, if you are happy with your current products, I don’t think you’re really missing anything. They have some good products, they have some misses. I think that 5 years ago, they were over-hyped. Now, I think they’ve fallen far from the pedestal they may have once been on, at least when it comes to readers on this blog and other beauty enthusiasts!
Otherearthly is the only thing that caught my attention .. others a huge pass.
I like the overall theme, but I don’t know if I would buy anything from this one. It’s especially difficult to tell the glosses apart.
I really like the looks of Ionized and Full Orbit, so I’m hopeful they perform well. But, I find most MAC LE releases to be a hassle, unless they’ve made some changes since I waited in the RiRi hearts MAC online waiting room for like a million hours. That’s the last LE collection I even bothered with as I was so disheartened and annoyed. Hopefully, things have changed as the more I look at Ionized, the more I like it. Super Nova is growing on me too. The Mineralize Lipstick formula is by far my favorite. It looks like there may also be a few blushes and nail polishes in this collection that look interesting. I’m apparently in total denial that I’m very intrigued with much of this collection.
This is probably the most boring collection I’ve ever seen from them…
i got my eye on Ionized lipstick. i might consider the MSF because I enjoy collecting them, but it looks pretty boring. also can we talk about how Warm Rose, isn’t warm OR rose?
Otherearthly looks amazing, the rest is a snore tho. Except maybe Ionized. But it’s not calling to me. I love the sci-fi concept, I wish the shades were more interesting and diverse.
Please review Otherearthy first! I am curious if there are any dupes for it and how the formula is. I think that is the only item from this collection that I’m even tempted to purchase.
