What’s in that little jar??
It’s the pigment.
It looks like it’s the pigment.
Wow, the packaging is pretty! And they have a brown red lippie, must resist!
Welp! Brown-red lippies are my kryptonite!
I love this collection. I want to get the lipsticks and perhaps a cream color base and the mirror (that web is dreamy!!). It’s funny to me that the blotting sheets cost $17 — for that cost, I’d expect a huge box of them.
Same thought on the blotting sheets… they look exactly like the Clean & Clear kind I’ve been using for years. Those are about $4-$5 for 50 and work really well.
i see a lot of the cost is merely for packaging BUT I’m down for the bag, mirror and maybe a cream base!! gotta see swatches on golden age first…
I love the look of the packaging and the theme but the collection feels sort of incomplete to me. Perhaps it’s because there are more accessories than there are eyeshadows. I do love the look of the lipsticks, I just adore that Forties’ look.
I think I need that dark red nail polish just for the packaging! And the price isn’t bad either!
I loooove the spider and spiderweb details on the packaging!
I’m on a no-buy, but OH MAN is this stuff pretty!
Be still my heart! This is packaging nirvana! I’m a little more interested in this for the packaging honestly! lol! I’m certainly trying to get the bag and the compact! OMG!
I’m going gaga for this theme! Especially digging the spiderweb design on the packaging, very fun! Think I need one of those Cream Color Bases, one lipstick and a nail polish, at minimum, but depending on how well they review.
Is that the CCB in the flat compact thing?!
I’m not sure about the lipstick packaging. The clear outer casing cheapens it a bit for me, and seems like it will show wear quickly. I do love the gold spiderweb, though! Overall, the collection will probably be a pass, as I’m not in need of any of these products in these colors, even if I love the idea behind it.
That packaging is so adorable!!
I was hoping for more out of the spiderweb design on the packaging than a cheap cheap clipart-type print of a spider web, but otherwise the packaing is pretty. I like the unique nail polish bottles. I like the lipstick shades.
Oooh I LOVE the packaging! Can’t ever have enough reds, right?!!
I may be in the minority here but I actually don’t think I like the packaging…especially the lipstick. It feels sort of cheap but maybe its just the press photos and hopefully will be better in real life…
I feel the same for some, I don’t like the packaging. Packaging doesn’t really bother me but the products don’t seem exciting either.
Yeah I like the design but looks like its executed badly (cheaply).
The mirror! Love it!! The rest of the collection is just meh, but good job on the overall packaging MAC!
I juuust might need to grab a lipstick, polish and the pigment. They look very pretty!
Those nail polish bottles look a little Louboutin inspired.
I’ll wait on your swatches.
I like the packaging so far!
The lipsticks look gorgeous.
Ohh this is super pretty I love reds and that little pigment bottle and nail polish bottles are super cute not to mention the makeup bag and mirror. Old classic Hollywood is back in a big way. I feel like they could have done an eyeshadow palette to go with this but really Mac dose that 90% of the time with their collections how many little eyeshadow palettes do you really need right lol. I am happy they put the time into doing somethings different for this collection like the mirror bag plus the ccb and pigments can work for the eyes just add a winged liner and your ready to go. I can’t wait for your reviews and swatches Christine so greatful for your honest reviews.
Love the packaging. Not sure I’m tempted by the products…well, except for the brown red lipstick, but will await the reviews!
Cream colour bases!
I’ve been looking forward to this collection, mainly for the packaging I’ll admit. I need to see swatches but I’ll probably pick up a lipstick and a nail polish, maybe one of the color bases if it’s dark enough.
Lovely packaging, and unexpected. MAC really stepped it up here. And I’m happy to see they haven’t used it as an excuse to jack up the price too much. I would totally pick up that pigment, and maybe one of the nail polishes.
I’m terrified of spiders, so I can’t even look at this packaging!
An easy pass for me. The spider web looks amateurish and wonky, and the lipstick cases look cheap and tacky.
I adore this classic pin-up makeup, so pretty!
What a pretty collection! The packaging, those nail polish bottles….*swoon*…..LOVE!
Gorgeous packaging – especially love the nail varnish shape. But none of the products really appeal. I love the vintage lip *colours*, but MAC’s matte formulations are murder on my dryness-prone lips.
When I first saw these I was very excited. Now that I’m past the initial wow moment not so much. The packaging is ok but they could have done so much with that spiderweb as pattern. The clear packaging on the lipstick is eh for me. I’ll pass. Also, $17 for blotting paper! Yeah, pass.
Underwhelmed with this collection.
I’ve been waiting on this collection! The packaging looks very elegant to me!
I have two of the lipsticks and while the quality and colors are beautiful the packaging is sooooo cheap I was tempted to return them! I usually don’t depot limited edition iteme but I will these I agree that the line seems incomplete more of an accessory item
