YSL Blood Orange (94) Rouge Pur Shine Lipstick (Summer 2010) Review, Photos Swatches
YSL Summer 2010 Goes Blood Orange
YSL Blood Orange (94) Rouge Pur Shine Lipstick ($30.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a vibrant shade of coral-orange with an ultra glossy sheen. It has just a smidgen of iridescent shimmer woven through it, but it’s nearly indetectable once on the lips. It’s really the glossy finish that stands out in comparison. The semi-opaque color itself is rich, lush, and perfect for summer. I love the lightweight feel of this creamy, moisturizing lipstick, and I like that I get three to four hours of wear with it to boot!
This is a new and limited edition shade from the upcoming YSL’s Solaris Collection, which will debut in June at YSL counters and the usual retailers.
Would you rock it?

YSL Blood Orange Rouge Pur Shine Lipstick
The color is very similar to the Chanel Mandarina Lacque, a mix between orange and peach.
I feel like I already have colors similar to this, so I’ll pass on it 🙂
wow i love the packaging! but the colour looks a little bit sheer 🙁
I agree with you, if it was more opaque I’d rock it!
the last picture is amazing!
That’s such a lovely colour on you!
Thanks, Andrea!
The packaging is cute but I don’t really like the color. It’s nothing really special I think.
The colour being a little bit sheer makes it that bit more wearable for me, I think.
do you have something from YSL (pur shine) that has a rasberry color? to use as a stain. Thank you. This one looks really good on you
I don’t, sorry! I think they have something, but I don’t own any.
This looks really pretty on you! I think I will pass this time though…
Thanks, Erin!
By looking at the pictures you posted this one seems to be extremely similar to Korres #52 Orange Red.
I’d totally disagree, lol!
I thought the same thing until I looked at them side by side. YSL definitely packs more punch and is more red, whereas Korres is sheer and more coral. But I could see how you wouldn’t need both, thought I think I might. They are both pretty!
Thing is, I also looked at them side by side. YSL is indeed a bit redder, but I really don’t see much of a difference.
Hm, they are totally different to me!
This really is a great shade on you! I love how it’s not too orange!
Thanks, Alyssamae! 🙂 Hope you are well!
i’d love a swatch of the other limited edition shade they’re coming out with… pink lychee i think? XD
Sorry, I don’t have that shade!
I bought this and returned it.It absolutely taste horrible. In addition, it lasts all of 5 minutes on my lips. I am so disappointed in YSL lately. It used to be one of my favorite cosmetic brands.
Oh no!
Usually YSL lipsticks smell good?!
Ooh, such a pretty color!
I’m a sucker for coral-orange shades. xD
I need this!
i love the packaging! and the color to
Love it
i wouldn’t pay $30 for a lipstick that looks so ordinary.
Love, love the color. I will definitely check this out.
Thank you for posting
Prettttyyyyyy. Know any cheaper comparable shades?
I don’t 🙁
