Sneak Peek: Natasha Denona Green-Brown Eyeshadow Palette Photos & Swatches
Natasha Denona Green-Brown Eyeshadow Palette
Natasha Denona Green-Brown Eyeshadow Palette ($239.00 for 2.24 oz.) includes 28 eyeshadows from matte to metallic. The Natasha Denona eyeshadow range will be debuting at Beautylish soon. I believe they will be carrying singles as well as the palettes (I’m still waiting on confirmation/clarity on that), but here’s a sneak peek of the warmer mega-palette. I will post swatches for the other two palettes today as well. Reviews to come!

Thanks for swatching these Christine! Looking froward to your reviews and thoughts. I missed the early release email from Beautylish and looked at them on ND’s website and just wasn’t sure.
No problem! I signed up but didn’t get the email 🙁 I hope Beautylish will sell them as singles. I think so, because when I googled, I saw some pages show up, but they were all erroring when I clicked (I don’t think they’re accessible yet). I know they’re busy with the launch, but hopefully I’ll get confirmation in the next couple of days!
When I realized the early access email never got to me, I online chatted with them. They completely sold out at early access. At the time, they were thinking the restocked palettes would be available around mid February, however, they thought there might be a delay since the palettes were coming from Israel.
Wow, reminds me of a Viseart palette on steroids! In format, color AND price 🙂
Glad I’m not tempted, greens/blues are really not in my wheelhouse and I have enough neutrals to last a decade. It’s certainly impressive, though!
It’s interesting, but the colors are actually laid out differently in the palette from Beautylish than on the brand’s website so I wonder why the format itself changed!
Wow I love the look of the greens in this! The browns look pretty dupeable though and Arizona looks very sad!
Some of the mattes seemed problematic — swatched at least. We shall see.
So beautiful! I saw Tarababyz’ review the other day, and she said these palettes were super messy. There were actual chunks of fallout when she swatched them. I’m really looking forward to your review as well, I wonder if you would recommend these.
We’ll see!
I’ve seen to many review of this palette after IMATS LA…. I’m super excited for more reviews because at the 240US price point these better be perfect palettes. (With the exchange rate at +30%CAD it’s going to take me a while to justify spending that).
I’m super jealous/stoked you got product samples Christine… this palette in particular, I’m loveing all the shades.
Oh my….this is so beautiful and, at least from the swatches, the quality of these shadows looks top notch. If I didn’t have so many eyeshadows, if I were just starting out buying eyeshadows, I would seriously consider this palette despite the price. But with so many dupes for almost every shade, it makes little sense to buy this. That doesn’t stop me wanting it, though!
Okay – so Arizona looks dry and patchy but it’s a shade I probably wouldn’t wear anyways and everything else in this looks outstanding. I can’t imagine what it would cost in Canada, factoring in the exchange, shipping and duty….we’re probably looking $400, at the very least!
I would be curious to know what it would actually cost to get it to Canada!
Well… I don’t know about buying directly from the Natasha Denona website, but when buying from Beautylish, shipping to Canada is free (for orders over 35 USD). For that price, I’m pretty sure you get free express shipping, too. It depends on the total, but in my experience taxes are less than 5% and you don’t pay duties on top when they ship from the US.
Just tried to order it off Beautylish as it’s back in stock and with the exchange rate plus taxes and duties, it comes out to $377 in Canadian dollars. Too rich for my blood 🙁
Ouch!
I know on the brand’s website, they have 5-pan palettes (though I imagine the value proposition is poorer), too. Not sure if we’ll see those on Beautylish as well.
Beautylish will be selling the 5 pan palettes 🙂 they were available in the brief preorder
Beautiful. Can’t wait to see what you think of them! No swatch for Indian Gold?
It shows for me!
Everything was looking good until Arizona. Yikes! Tropic and Cloudy Blue are so beautiful though.
lol!
I try not let the price tag of “luxury” makeup sully my opinion of the actual product, but those matte swatches do not look promising. For that kind of money, they should be. :-/ Also, I wish I knew who she was to be demanding those prices lol. Google away!
I agree that at this price point, we’re going to need them all to perform quite well across the board.
http://natashadenona.com/en/natasha-denona
Looking at her website, it seems better value to order a 5-pan eyeshadow palette rather than buy a huge palette that may have quite a few dud shades plus shades you may not actually want.
*Looks at all the green eyeshadows*
Pretty!
*Looks at price tag*
Hahahaha NOPE.
I couldn’t even justify the price tag on the MUFE giant eyeshadow palette this holiday, & I already know that I love those shadows!
Hopefully these still perform well, especially for that price point.
It is a lot to spend all at once!
Just a heads up, Sephora did put the MUFE artist palette #2 on sale for $32, I noticed. I would have snagged it up if I didn’t already own the UD electric palette! I know their holiday collection was much bigger but just thought I’d share 🙂
If we cut out the last row and the right two columns then it would be my perfect palette.
So close!
I can tell you right now that I am too broke to afford this but I am too in love to avoid it. I can’t wait for swatches! Glam Green Industrial, and Cloudy Blue are calling my name!
Swatches are all in this post!
*facepalms* I meant reviews but my fingers betrayed me. Oh well. Thanks for both!
Well, they seem pigmented. There seem to be A LOT of similar shades in this palette, though.
Swatches on all but the mattes are definitely promising — we’ll see!
WAY out of my price range but I am in total love with this colour combination.
Maybe you can use the combo as inspiration 🙂
Overall too orange warm for me so I’m looking forward to the other mega palette. A couple of colours which very much appeal here though: glam green and cloudy blue
Curious to see if you end up trying this formula, Wendy!
I think it depends on whether or not the shadows will be sold as singles. There are some really pretty shadows which look unique. But, I don’t see myself springing for the palettes. Know what I mean :). The price converted to cad will be too rude as well.
I know the brand’s .com sells them as singles, so hoping Beautylish follows suit. Gotta love all those shades in the palettes, I think! Might be a good value on a per ounce or per shade value, but it’s a lot to put down all at once.
I am so excited for this review, i’d love to buy one of these because of all the praise but dang DAS ESPENSIVE. The mattes look quite meh but those metallics are something!
Yeah, no doubt the price point is high!
The last two mattes… :/ the other colors look great and I especially like some of the blues and golds.
When I first heard about the price of these, I nearly choked. I mean this is eyeshadow, not even skincare… I still don’t know what to think.
Maybe they were going for a literal interpretation of Arizona, LOL.
? love this.
I was looking at these swatches going “wow this is SO much better than the other one!!” And then I got to Arizona and realized why. Practically no mattes in this one! I adore the colors in this one, and if it didn’t have parabens I would find a way to buy it for sure. I hate it why high end brands use crap ingredients. I can understand it with Sleek and morphe whatnot but for $240 it’s inexcusable.
This is really beautiful, and the colors are right up my alley. But oof, I can’t handle that price tag.
Totally understand 🙂
OMG, I LOVE the unique colors in this palette –True Gold, Antique Olive, Emerald Green, Glam Green, Indian Gold, Tropic , Cloudy Blue, Aquamarine . Seriously hope she sells some as singles because I don’t need or want some of the other colors in this kit.
I know for sure you can buy them as singles through her website directly at the very least. Beautylish should get back to me in a few days – I know they are pretty busy with this launch at the moment!
Most of these swatches (with the striking exception of Arizona) look gorgeous! I really hope they carry the singles — there are a few of these I would love to have!
I hope they do!
I’m literally doing the happy dance right now! So excited you are reviewing these. They are a bit out of my price range. At least i can live vicariously through your swatches and pics.
Yay!
The metallics look nice overall, but the mattes just don’t look as good as many other much more budget-friendly brands.
The mattes are worrisome by swatches, so we’ll see!
Yikes Arizona you did not swatch well
I can’t wait to see what you have to say about these palettes. I’ve been wondering about the shadow quality. The price point is quite high. This probably would be the one I would be most interested in.
The palettes are pricey!
Now this one looks much better! I still don’t know if it’s worth the hefty price tag but the color scheme is beautiful and seems to offer a lot of variety. I’m curious to see how it performs
Yay!
Oh man, this all completely got past somehow! I think it would be better if it would have stayed that way! Lol.
lol! I am sure you have dupes for them all 😉 I almost guarantee it!
IDK.There are some unique shades here. But, for the price I want them all to perform solidly and the mattes don’t look like they will. So, I would consider the price of I absolutely knew I couldn’t resist it. I’m really interested in her glowing foundation too. Have you tried that? Or any else?
Christine & Nancy, after some crazy flights, Chloe and I finally made it to Az..Its so lovely! Hoping my Dr. Appointment goes well tomorrow. But, I have the fever. It reminds me of Cali. 🙂
These are the first thing I’ve tried from her brand!
Congrats on getting to AZ! Enjoy your time here!!
Wow, so many stunning shades in there! This looks good!
Happy you’re digging it so far!
Thanks for swatching! I’m not seeing anything stunning enough to justify the price – I would rather buy a few singles of more unique shades. Those mattes look pretty bad for the price tag as well.
No problem!
Everything looks GORGEOUS, except Arizona! Isn’t that ironic?!? If I were not swimming up to my gills in neutrals already and had an extra $239 to blow, you can bet I’d be going crazy squirrel nuts for this palette! This looks fantastic ??
I decided to test that one today, and it seems a lot better on than it does in the swatch. I re-swatched it, and it was still awful. I don’t know why really!
I love some of these shades! Of course my favorite are the ones who are not sold individually. 😀
I think they are all sold individually? Which ones did you see weren’t?
Maybe they are out of stock at the moment? I searched on the website and couldn’t find (for example Tropic. I searched by name, number and then one by one). They’re too expensive anyway. I’l just wait for your review and get dupes of the ones I like. 🙂
Here you go 🙂 http://natashadenona.com/en/products/products/eyes/eye-shadow/duo-chrome-eye-shadow/tropic
I’m kind of disappointed with this, the quality is great but the variety is pretty dupable, there are so many nude palettes out there most people don’t need this many brown shades and there’s very few greens, which I love. I just wish it was a more earthy palette with lots more green, and no blue lol, blue looks awful on me unless it’s grey leaning or really dark haha. The swatches are amazing though, thanks Christine for the hard work 🙂
That is true, there are a lot of neutral palettes out there.
It’s pretty but … $269 US dollars????
$239
I’m absolutely shocked how much I like these swatches. Probably wont pick it up but I’m tempted.
Wow, nice colors but way out of my price range. The only bad swatch seemed to be Arizona.
Interested to hear your thoughts – I find they swatch really well but it’s very deceiving. I bought both palettes last week, and even with a primer the colors don’t last. The fade and muddy, and in some cases completely disappear off the lid after 4 hours.
Well, these are pretty sparkly, shimmery and shiny! Some really gorgeous colours here. The mattes are quite sad though – lots of brands have trouble with matte formulas. The reviews will be interesting.
Wow, for that price I’d expect a better ingredient list. Two forms of paraben? I’ll pass.
HNNNNNNNNNNNNNG so nice! Except for Arizona, lol! I already own two 5-pan palettes and they are my lovers, and these big guys are really tempting me!
I just yelled, “$239??!?!?!?” and everyone around me went, “For what??”
So pretty, especially those green colors toward the bottom of the post, but I’ll wait to see (hopefully less expensive) dupes for sure!
Too warm for me but I see a whole lot of winners and only one or two stinkers. I think this will be very popular.
Can’t wait for your review! The truth coming out.. Very interested. I’m not excited by any of these. Tbt. Forcing palettes that the quality is all over the place so one spends less per shadow against overpriced singles of dynamic pigments by our choice that have icky ingredients makes me wonder why? Why more? Do we really need these options? There’s so much out there! I’m sure the few colors I fall for will have better dupes. IMHO. I guess brands trend over products at times.. ?
I should have more greens in my life! Thanks for the swatches!
These palettes always look so gorgeous. The metallics always leave me swooning when I look at swatches. Arizona, though…not acceptable. The price per shadow is good, but it’s a lot of money for a non-professional to lay out at once.
So far I’m not super impressed with the swatches for the price point! :/
Some of the shimmery colours look amazing – Golden Aquamarine is particularly calling to me! However, I do not want a palette this size. Far too big, and far too many dupes-of-each-other browns, too.
The mattes in both are concerning glad I haven’t ordered. Would you recommend getting say two of the viseart palettes instead? Was thinking of the bridal satin and neutral mattes
Yes, I would 🙂
Thank you! It’s unfortunate the hype doesn’t always live up. Thanks for the great work as always ~
Hello Christine,
Could you compare for us the Natasha Denona eyeshadows and the Make Up For Ever Artist shadows: their pigmentation, smoothness, blendability, longevity, transportability, for each range (matte, metallic, etc…)?
Not taking account of the price tag since every country got different one.
They’re a different formula – Natasha Denona is much looser in the pan, so it has a softer, looser consistency. The pigmentation varies from shade to shade, as do things like how they apply, finish, etc.
thank you for your answer.
