How do you keep track of what needs to get done?: Right now i write everything out on a physical calander or make a short to do list in a note pad.
I’m rather do it all on a smart phone instead if I had one. lol

That and the one MAC Spring collection…. I’m hoping that yellow lipstick is good! The last MAC collection product I’ve bought MAC Isabel and Ruben Toledo Chlorafill and before that is the Kelly Osborn Collection. I think I deserve a new funky shade from MAC.

What made you try the Hungary Mist, Katherine?
Well, it doesn’t have fragrance/perfume, and a lot of mists do, although it does have rose water and orange flower water, but my skin can tolerate that sometimes. It also got great reviews, but the full size is $90 (eek!), so I couldn’t pull the trigger. But when Sephora offered a deluxe sample for 100 pts, I jumped, hoping I don’t fall in love with it. I’ll test it out and report back next Friday.
Katherine, curious about the Sugar Glow Mask…please let me know what you think. I had tried to get it when I realized Sephora was offering it as a free deluxe sample but I missed it. I prefer not to order full size of things that I’m not sure about. Btw, if you order from Beautylish and are interested in samples (i.e. more Omorovicza) contact them and they will send you out some. In the past, Alicia Hentemann (Customer Experience Mgr.) has been very good to me. I’ve tried foundations, creams, serums, etc. that way. It’s a great way to try a product you’re interested in before buying full size.
Ok, I’ll test out the Ole sugar mask and report back. Oh, thanks for the great tip about Beautylish! I had no idea they did that, that would be so awesome, so I can try before buying 🙂

How do you keep track of what needs to get done?: Google calendar for events and online to do lists. By the way thanks for asking for suggestions. I tried out the Todoist and I have been liking it. I was previously using Evernote, and it wasn’t really exactly what I was looking for.
What L’Oreal products do you have your eye on?
No problem, Monica! I’m digging Todoist so far, though I haven’t used it too much yet!
my mistake, it’s actually Revlon that’s on sale. I think I’m going to skip out since Revlon isn’t really a favorite drug store brand of mine.
I did end up picking up 2x of each Zahra Beauty Get Glam Trays & CBWD 5 slot organizers
I forgot to mention that but I got the Get Glam Tray and also the CBWD tray this week. I really like them, they were exactly what I needed.
What is todoist and Evernote?
Todoist is an app for tracking tasks – like a digital to-do list!
Evernote is a note taking app.
You can do pretty much anything from attaching pictures to making lists

How do you keep track of what needs to get done? mentally mostly. Depending on how busy my life is, I’ll sometimes keep a planner, but that’s mainly for schoolwork and appointments. otherwise, I’ll feel an annoying need to get things done (organize, clean, etc..)
Have you found any good shades in the Nude set?
Haul: Lancôme L’Absolu Rouge Définition in Le Carmin and their spring LE cream blush in Corail de Ville.
Weekend plans: nothing special! Hiking and/or running probably.
How do I keep track of tasks: I mostly just keep track in my head… so I sometimes forget things. I also use a paper planner when I feel overwhelmed.
How do you like Corail de Ville?
Haul: Nars single eyeshadow in Stud, Charlotte Tilbury eyeshadow pencil in Amber Haze, Chanel Sunkiss Ribbon blush, and the UD Vice Reloaded XX Palette. I absolutely love Stud and it looks nice with Urban Decay Low in crease (Vice 4), and just a hint of Urban Decay Goldmine in the center lid. And I swear the Chanel Sunkiss blush will end up being one of my favorite purchases of 2016, even though the year has only just begun!

Haul…Diorskin Nude BB Creme in Light. This is my HG foundation for everyday sheer to medium coverage. Formula X sheer strength nail polish in Exhilarating, nice for a French manicure look. Clean Cashmere in the smaller bottle. I’ve been on the lookout for this one, as I have no business buying any more fragrance…but it’s so warm and perfect for cool weather!
Weekend plans…I really must clean this house. The dust bunnies are out of control.
Keeping track…for short term, I keep a daily list of things to do on a note pad. I get satisfaction from marking through the to dos. Longer term, we add reminders to the phone calendar.
The dog does enjoy a good tummy rub!

Haul: Tom ford Something Wild, and some other tom Ford goodies are on the way. I also just unboxed the following,but I may have mentioned them before because I ordered them a week or so ago; The mufe florals vol. 3 palette, Tarte tease, Too Faced Melteds in Chocolate Cherries,Chocolate Honey,Chocolate milkshake, and Metallic Frozen Hot Chocolate, KVD metal crushes in Iggy and Thrasher. Oh, and a score find on the bite duo in Pepper & cafe for $10!
Weekend Plans: My little girl is having eye surgery for strabismus on Tues., So I will be taking the week off to take care of her. So, I have to get a bunch of stuff caught up. Plus get things in that we will need. She had this same surgery at 2.
How do I keep track of what needs to get done: I use my phone calendar. But, i still right things down a lot too. Old habit.

Oh, I forgot I did order the MAC Viva glam Ariana Grande. I wound up getting Cyberworld lip pencil to help out the lipstick per the SA suggestion(I had been wanting it anyway too). My daughter, Chloe is super pumped about the gloss! 🙂

Thank you Michelle! She’s a brave girl. She ‘s been through a lot with my health issues and now the tables are turned. Today, I googled her surgeon and found comfort in her sqeaky clean record and 33 years of experience. Still, it’s going to be a hard day to have my baby go under anaesthesia again. I appreciate your thoughts for her! 🙂

I will definitely be keeping your daughter in my thoughts and prayers, and hopefully they get it right this time. Poor kid! Eye surgery is a huge deal at any age, but for a child, it’s got to be scary as heck. But it does sound like you have an excellent surgeon for her!
I got told many, many years back that I have something called “convergence insufficiency” and that the same eye is a “lazy eye”, but when I have my glasses on, they work in unison *most* of the time.
Thank you Nancy! Gosh you guys are so sweet! I probably should have explained stabismus. Srabismus is when the muscles surrounding the eye/eyes (in my daughte’r case it is bilateral) are loose. this causes the eye or eyes to flick out or cross thus decreasing vision. Nancy, you may have it. It is a technical name for “lazy eye” Chloe’s was pretty bad when she was born and picked up right away. So, she had glasses as a baby to help. Then the surgery as a toddler. The surgery is simple. The Dr. just goes in and tightens the eye muscles up. She will have red and scratchy eyes and be off school a few days. But, her vision has gotten to where we are looking at “coke bottle” glasses to control it and she doesn’t want that and she can’t control her eye motions without her glasses on. So, it’s time. Thanks for all your kind thoughts and prayers. love you gals and guys. You all mean the world to me! 😀
Despite the great track record with this surgery, you guys must be not-so-secretly terrified. Hope it’s a great success without pain or a long recovery. And that months from now, everything’s great, and way in the rear view mirror. Meanwhile, prayers for you from a not-so-prayerful person.
Thank you for your well wishes and prayers! The surgery is all done by the time I type this! It was done two days ago. It was a little wrecking as a parent. But, it went as expected and my daughter’s recovery seems to be going as we hoped. It’s good to have it over with!

How do you keep track of what needs to get done? I keep track of appointments for the family on my phone calendar. I also make paper lists. Physically writing things down helps me remember them.

I read that the Color Switch is supposed to be amazing. Weekend plans: I have to go to a doctor’s appointment with my daughter tonight. Otherwise, still on kitty watch until Trouble’s stitches come out (hopefully) on Thursday. I may sneak out on Sunday though and see if my Target has stocked their new Defy & Inspire nail polish.
How do you keep track of what needs to get done?: Ever since my chemo, I’m more forgetful. I have a calendar in my home office, one in my handbag, and I also calendar on my phone. If I think it’s something I’ll forget, I also send myself an email 🙂

I did test the brush cleaner and it worked! I have to admit I was surprised. I think I’ll have a better sense as I use it more though.

Haul: Urban Decay XX Vice LTD palette. I love several of the colors and am having fun playing with it. The quality of the different shades has been uneven for me so far, but I’m going to experiment with different bases and brushes because of all the beautiful greens, blues, and purples 🙂
Weekend plans: Relaxing — reading, knitting, cooking, maybe going to see The Force Awakens with my son.
How do you keep track of what needs to get done?: Maybe not as well as I should. Appointments go on a paper calendar, most of the rest is in my head.
What kind of cooking did you do over the weekend, Fran?
I made some Indian food (red lentil dal, cauliflower curry), because I wanted to try baking naan. I used the recipe in the Joy of Cooking (for the naan) and it came out fine, nothing wrong with it, but there wasn’t anything special about it either. The dal and the cucumber raita were really good, though.
Today I baked a Jewish apple cake (it’s a Philadelphia thing) for my son’s birthday. Fortunately, that turned out great 🙂

Weekend plans: for the first time in ages, we took down our Christmas decorations a week ago because I wanted to vacuum up all the tinsel bits that end up on the carpet — but it is a real chore, I know. Plans – going for lunch at a winery in the Yarra Valley – beautiful area with lots of great wineries.

I just started to use Todoist! I like it so far but haven’t used it enough quite yet!

Keeping Track: Unless I have a ton of appointments, I remember them all. If it’s more than a few a week or multiple in a a day with tight times, I will use iCal.

Weekend plans: I’m going to spend tomorrow revamping my storage for my stash with the vases, jars and beads that just came in. Yay. YAY.
How do you keep track of what needs to get done?: Google Calendar and digital list(s) on my phone for errands, grocery needs, etc. Sometimes I’ll sit down and make week long calendar and get it all on paper in front of me. I do that when I’ve been relying on my memory and things start piling up and I’m afraid I’ll start forgetting, then I transfer everything to my phone.
What’d you get from Save-on-crafts?
2 4 inch square jars, 2 6 inch square jars, champagne-colored beads and a wire basket with 2 mason jars. I’m still working out placement but they hold all my brushes now!

How do you keep track of what needs to get done: I need all the help I can get! List app on my mobile phone, written lists, using my calendar app in my phone, and even saying to my son or whoever I may be with”Please remind to….” “Don’t let me forget…” LOL!!!

Me too! It really is lovely on, quite pigmented as well. I wore it on the lid with CP Party Time and Mixed Tape in the crease, a bit of MAC Fresh Blade in the inner corner. Voila!
Haul: MAC lipstick in Fashion Revival (notice a trend here?) and eyeshadow in Deep Damson. Are MAC’s matte shadows pressed harder than other shadows? My Goss brush almost seems too soft to allow me to pick up the amount of product I’d like to, but I can build up the color.
Weekend plans: Nothing. It’s been a difficult week.
How do you keep track of what needs to get done?: I have to write things on an actual calendar. The act of writing helps me to remember. If someone else writes in something for me, all bets are off.

You magazine’s beauty advent calendar – lots of lovely products, favourites are Rodial Glam Balm, E’spa facial oil and Roger & Gallet body lotion in Fig.
Plans for weekend: Food shopping, going to feed the ducks with our little girl if the weather is ok (it’s freezing but dry so far, fingers crossed).
How I keep track of things to be done: I don’t have a packed schedule so I just enter appointments etc into my Google calendar, if I have a Things to do list I use the Keep app. If it’s a shopping list, I write it down, it’s more tangible. If my schedule was more packed, I’d use a paper diary or Filofax (retro, I know!) because it’s easier for me to see and find as it’s more tangible, again.
I forgot to add that I picked up my Stila A Whole Lot of Love order from Marks & Spencer, I found it on sale online for £18 down from £49! Bargain!

Haul: REN Evercalm Anti-Redness Serum, Laura Mercier Flawless Skin Face Polish, Morphe 35O palette (I’ve swatched a lot of their palettes at Ricky’s NYC and the shadows, especially the matte ones, are kind of “meh,” but for some reason the formula in this one is a lot better. Not like MUFE Artist Shadow-better, but definitely worth the money), L.A. Girl Pro Conceal in the green corrector, and Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream in #21 Light Beige.
This is my last week before I go back to school on the 24th, so I made a significant Sephora order to take advantage of the 10% off (plus 8% back on Ebates), but I’ll put that in next week’s haul since it just shipped about 10 minutes ago. I think I’m done beauty shopping for a looong while! I do probably 95% of my beauty purchases during Winter and Summer breaks. I might pick up one or two spring release items, and of course refills of skincare, but that’s about it.
Weekend plans: I’m working (when am I not?), then probably going in to the city one last time before school just to wander around.
Keeping organized: I have a weekly planner for my schoolwork, and any deviations from my daily routine, for example if I am working different hours than usual, I’ll put a calendar alert on my phone.

Haul: Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in the shade Celebration, and NYX matte setting spray (this will be my third bottle), along with some skincare essentials, Neutrogena pore minimizing toner, and my Cerave face wash for normal to oily skin, these will be my second bottles and I love them both.
Weekend Plans: I work weekends now, so not much, just got to do some basic grocery shopping tonight.

•Haul: UDxGwen Stefani blush palette, 30 more ColourPop SuperShock shadows, a ColourPop lip primer, backup face and body care, already received new Anastasia eye shadows, and the Lancôme Drama Liqui-Pencil in a few colors that are surprisingly great! Also some ELF eye brushes I got during a huge sale with their locking coat liquid, I am not sure of the name, a free palette as a gift that isn’t bad at all, ordered my restocking of green and herbal teas from Japan, picked up an extra Shu Uemura cleansing oil for backup, and finally received my MUFE studio case.

•How do you keep track of what needs to be done? I laughed at this. I’m lucky to keep track even though I keep notes on my cell phone, in a daily written planner, another notebook, and emails I send to people to please remind me just in case.. Relaxing helps a lot because it calms down distractions. ?
Correction: I hauled it that week but have received everything already, the teas came today.
