A short and sweet collection from Smashbox will arrive in May, just in time for summer. While we’re on the topic of Smashbox, they launched their official blog this week, and they’re having a celebratory giveaway of $500 in Smashbox makeup to boot!

Photo Finish Lid Primer in Golden Nude ($20.00)

Aw, why do the glosses have to be so sheer? What’s the point of barely there colour? Surely if it is so sheer, it could be approximated with a thin layer of lipstick and clear gloss? The shades do look gorgeous though.

I love Smashbox glosses, even though they are pretty sheer, they feel really nice on the lips. I will most likely pick up the gloss set!

I think those tiny gloss sets are very cool. Each little gloss is perfect to slip into your pocket or bag for a night out. I have a set from chantecaille that someone gave me that are the same size.

I haven’t been excited for a Smashbox collection in a long time, and this is no exception 🙁

I do, however, want to try out their new eyeliner pencils and mascara.
