The blushes look nice (esp. Peach Shimmer) but the shadows look like a mix bag. Will be looking at dupes for Seaweed and maybe Black Pearl
Seaweed, Black Pearl and also Metallic Taupe are the ones that caught my eye too.
This looks like it could be ideal if the products “deliver” (a few look less than fabulous but that seems common in most palettes this size). If it is good, well, I may have “no choice” but to get it.
This actually looks amazing…The layout, packaging and the overall performance looks like I need it. I’m drawn to these colors and packaging… this might just be the big ultimate holiday palette of 2015 I’ve been waiting for, since I’ve found other holiday palettes either don’t have enough product for the price, or the quality is sub par.
I ordered this palette right after tarababyz reviewed it on her channel. She made it look amazing. Some of these swatches don’t look very good, but I always use an eye primer and I think I’ll love it when I receive it. I really like these colors c:
This looks good! On the subject of mega palettes, do you have any intentions of reviewing the Laura Mercier Master Class palette? I have it and I honestly can’t decide if it’s worth it? If not, any tips? I have only used it a couple of times hoping you would review it and I have not found but a couple other customer reviews.
This one doesn’t look too bad, although I do see some duds, unfortunately. Right at this moment, I feel really good about my most recent palette acquisitions, so I’m in no hurry to get another. But single dupes for Black Pearl, Seaweed and better quality version dupes of Lapis and Denim will work for me!
Looks like hits and misses.
Yeah, definitely a mixed bag!
Peach Shimmer looks like a beautiful blush – but the eye shadows really vary. The mattes look very dry and again, lots of similar colours. Why are the brands doing this? Lots of pale, similar colours in all of the bigger palettes (Sephora Jem, Lorac Mega etc).
Some very pretty shimmer colours though. I think this might be a bit better than the last lot Stila released last year.
The blushes are lovely. Those eyeshadows are all over the place, though. The colors don’t really excite me either.
I’m intrigued to find out the quality of this palette. There are a few shades that I’m interested in, Seaweed, Metallic Peach, Pewter and Eggplant. I feel the last two appear powdery and will have a lot of fall out.
I like Rose Pewter and Seaweed but not much interested in the rest.
I absolutely love the look of this. And I like Stila shadows in general, which do perform better with a primer, something I generally wear anyway. Could do without the ubiquitous plain black, and a brush would have been better than yet another black mascara I can’t use, but I can live with that!
There are some really lovely shades in there, first impressions are good!
Seaweed and Black Pearl looks gorgeous! I’m not too sure how the blushes would look on me though. I wouldn’t be mad if they had included a liquid lipstick instead. (:
I have this palette and I really am enjoying it. It’s my first experience with Stila blushes and I was shocked how pigmented they are. Just a slight tap in with a fluffy brush is all you need. I haven’t gotten a chance to try out all the shadows but I haven’t had any problems with pigmentation with the ones I have. The rose gold shade is so pretty that I have been using it the most.
