Wow, this is a great way to try 4 lipsticks and the colors look good
The colors of the lipsticks in the picture don’t really match up closely to the colors in the permanent collection. I just checked them all out. If it were a match, it would basically be a light, pastel-ish pink, a light pink, orange, and a red-orange. Nordstrom has this also along with another set with 3 lippies for $4 less. But, it is a set for breast cancer awareness month. The shades are really pretty: Tumultous Pink, Powerful, and Rebellious Rose( which is gorgeous) They are in a nice pink makeup case/wristlet . 20% of the proceeds go to a breast cancer research association.
I think I like the sound of the Nordstrom trio better, if for other reason, it being for October Breast Cancer Awareness month!
It’s a nice formula Nancy. One of my faves! You could search Christine’s overview of the formula and see all the colors next to each other. I’m not saying the first is bad. Just seems like not much variety if its true to the original.

We also need to applaud the companies for putting these together. I still think MAC takes the cake with Viva Glam for AIDS/ HIV research. It would be so great to see another company match them for each cause. Each brand take a cause. I chose the set in pink. Good cause, 1 less lipstick. But, I prefer the shades honestly also. I may check out the other one at the counter.I called my local Nordstrom. They had only 1 left in the pink bag and she said she was just getting in the other set.

This looks really interesting, although I tend to steer very clear of “deluxe” sizes because my lips are on the fuller end and really need a standard size stick. But the one Nicole mentioned above sounds like a MUST.

Edit to my previous comment:) It’s 10/10/2015.I picked this up last night in Nordstrom. The shades listed by the picture and this this is also true currently on the Nordstrom website ( I haven’t bothered to look anywhere else.). But, they are not as listed. The actual colors are : Envious, Tumultous Pink, Desirable, and Intense Nude. That makes the picture make more sense and the set is actually pretty nice color selection IMO. The lipsticks ARE minis. But the case is sturdy. So, applying from the bullet is not a problem for me as long as I don’t reel out too much of the lipstick at once (so it doesn’t break off). I think if you have been interested in trying the Lauder lipstick formula, this set may be a good way to do it. I love the formula. The shades contained are dupable though.
