Well I’m glad I got last years! I wonder why they replaced Bella bamba with samples and of the they’re real mascara and eyeliner… And then upped the price… I guess if you like the mascara it’s worth it but I’m not fond of that line.
This is soo cute! Love the packaging! I am bummed that Bella Bamba is not in there. That was an old favorite of mine when I was younger. This would be a great gift too! 😀
My advice is before you buy this, swatch them in store along with their permanent collection boxed versions. Last year’s holiday blush box was nowhere near the quality of the regular priced boxed ones, and some even had different color shades.
I’ve also experienced some pretty disappointing Benefit mini mascaras, such as They’re Real (though the Rollerlash minis have been on point so far for me), which could be due to the smaller packaging – drier, flakier, etc.
Hello Linda AND Christine and EVERYONE!!!
Have you tried the one this year ( real cheeky party set)? I have, I returned it the first time because I thought it was damaged and repurchased it, but It actually wasn’t. There is simply not enough pigmentation. By the way, I am super fair, porcelain, very yellow undertones.
Did you buy it last year? and if you did, How is the quality of that palette today? I really want this and I was wondering if I should purchase last year’s version from like Ebay or something. Would that still be worth it?
thankssss 😉
Considering the spotty quality of last years, I don’t have high hopes for this one. I’ll wait for swatches and reviews. I like the packaging much better than last years. The packaging on this is much cuter and more practical.
I was so disappointed in the set from last year. I ended up returning it.
Having heard and read many negative things about last year’s Benefit cheek palette, I am just going to wait and see how this year’s offering reviews. Benefit doesn’t usually excite me anyhow.
I just bought last year’s on sale a few weeks ago (yeah it was sold out 2 months before Christmas 2014 but they still had some hiding somewhere apparently…) but I have to say I prefer the packaging of this one!
Hi Lulle,
You got the one from last year?, may I please ask the website you got it from? And if you regret your purchase? I am hoping to do the same Thanks
If they had left out Hoola, I know it’s almost iconic, but I don’t like it, and made an all blush collection, I might havve been interested. Now this is just a big maybe for me. Don’t get me wrong, I want all of the blushes in it, if the quality is there, it’s just the, for me, always present palette problem with the one (sometimes a bot more) product never getting used.
I have last year’s and I haven’t put a dent in it. I honestly don’t know what the quality difference is with the permanent but I’m happy with them.
I am in two minds about this – on one side it is convenient to have all your blushes/highlighters etc in one palette and on the other hand, if the shades aren’t all for you – well you’ve wasted some money. A pass I think.
Hasn’t Bella Bamba been discontinued? That’s probably why it’s not in this new set.
Benefit’s boxes are odd in the context of other holiday sets. These are obviously gifts for people who don’t otherwise buy Benefit, or for Benefit fans who only ever buy the holiday box. There’s nothing new to entice Benefit devotees.
Ok, I can skip it!
I bought the one released last here and I hate they’re real both mascara and eyeliner… money saved!
Totally rehashing last years ideas there Benefit. Only difference is they took out Bella Bamba and included a mini mascara and (the dreadful) push up liner. Bit boring really, thought they might have come up with a new idea for a palette
Yeah, not for me.
I’m new to Benefit. For me this was a great way to test their blush, with minimal expense. I’m hooked. In the past I’ve always used Lancome. I feel that these are comparable. The only one I’m unsure of is Hoola. I like Anastasia for contour and use very little bronzer. I don’t care for the They’re Real mascara…gave that away. Haven’t tried the eyeliner yet. Packaging was cute, but I depotted them into my Z palette.
