The Spring Season: Korres #34 Nude Guava Lipstick
Korres #34 Nude Guava Lipstick ($22.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a softened peachy-nude with a creamy, smooth look. It goes on opaque and feels moisturizing without being heavy. There is no shimmer to the color, just a bit of a glossy sheen when the light hits. It’s a beautiful color with a lovely finish and feel–I just wish you got more in the tube, as it’s about half as much as a typical lipstick.
Is this the right nude lipstick for you? Would you wear it?
The Spring Season is a series of posts featuring my favorite soft beige, coral, and pink lipsticks and lipglosses — all perfect for the first blossom of spring — that runs through March 2010.
That color is gorgeous! I am definitely going to have to check it out and see if it works with my coloring. Thanks for the swatch 🙂
Do these remind you of Mac slimshines?
Not quite as slippery or glossy!
Now that is quite stunning. Not in an extremely “notice me” but in a nice subtle way. Maybe I just feel that way because it seems to work beautifully with your skin tone!
I’m not too fond of how thick it looks though, or the fact that it’s less product than conventional lipsticks. I’d probably pass, but I do like the shade.
it’s gorgeous! i have the natural pink shade and i love it! don’t know if they sell it in the us, i bought it for 12euro, pretty cheap same price as loreal and maybelline and it has better ingiedients.
this color remind me to mac jubilee. u should try it!
so pretty!! Can you think of any dupes from MAC for this gorgeous nude l/s
Jubilee or Cherish
that is such a gorgeous colour. Definitely, something I would look out for and add to my collection.
hey christine,
do you know of any close matches or dupes available at the drugstore? i really love this color but i’m not really a lipstick kind of girl to begin with…
I don’t know of any drugstore dupes, sorry 🙁
I have been wearing this shade but now it seems Sephora has discontinued it =(
Would you recommend this color for nw45/nw50 skin?
Yes!
I love this shade! 🙂
