NARS Ita and/or Yachiyo brushes. I *could* get them, and I’ve come close sooo many times, then I realize I have perfectly fine brushes already, the most “expensive” being my Sonia Kashuk brushes.
I actually find most HE brushes *too* soft, especially when the majority of my stash requires firmer bristles…
Suqqu of course (Lisa Eldridge effect!) and may be a few from MUFE!
I dropped $90 on Marc Jacobs’ foundation brush and it was fantastic, until a year later now it’s shedding like a chow-chow in Arizona 🙁

It would be a blush brush for sure, but I’m not sure what brand. I can’t really afford an expensive brush right now so I haven’t looked into it!
I can’t choose between Hakuhodo S102 and Chikuhodo Z Series Z-2! these two were in my wanted lists for so long,they’re pricey brushes but I really love squirrel hair brushes!

A Chikuhodo Z Series powder brush! I have the Passion Series, but I am lusting after the Z… however, I wouldn’t turn down a powder brush from the Makie Series.
I need a new big fluffy powder brush, so that! Not sure what brand I’d go to though…
Same! Just the other day I looked at my biggest fluffy powder brush and thought, “Man, this thing is terrible and poky. I need a truly nice one.”
But there are so many options! Sigh.
I have a Real Techniques one, and I absolutely love it! I have yet to find an expensive brush that surpasses my “cheap” ones…
I second that. The Real Techniques Blush Brush is HG for me. I think it’s just the pefect density and shape.
The Hakuhodo S104 Powder Brush! Oh I’ve been lusting over it for months now. I recently got into makeup and beauty because of the Hakuhodo brushes, I would always see my older sister apply her face makeup and touch ups with the beautiful S series by Hakuhodo. I can’t wait to save up and finally buy it for myself! Xx
That’s hard! I’d probably go with my Tom Ford Bronzer brush. It took me a while to like it. But now it is a daily staple.It is huge. But, my face tends to be lighter than my body. So, sometimes , I will just put a little bronzer on my neck. Perfect brush for that! I can also angle it and get my cheeks, nose and forehead no problem. 🙂
Pretty much any brush in the Chikuhodo Makie or Z Series. I live in Canada and the exchange rate between the CAD and USD sucks right now so won’t be getting any brushes anytime soon.

I’m really wanting the Hourglass No.2 foundation brush ($58…ugh)
and the IT Cosmetics Jumbo Powder No.3 ($58) and Complexion Brush No.7 ($48).
It’ll be so worth it, since they’re great quality and I’ll have them forever, but just…the investment :,(
I bought the It Cosmetics jumbo powder brush for my aunt for her birthday one year and she loves it and uses it every day. I can recommend that one on her behalf! 🙂
Tom ford blush brush. Also the Le Metier angled foundation brush. Own and love both!
I am *dying* for a gold hakuhodo kabuki brush. They are SO. GORGEOUS. But they are also like $200 which is kind of ridiculous. Maybe for xmas… 🙂
Either the Suqqu Face brush or a second Suqqu Cheek brush.
The Chikuhodo G-8 Powder Brush! It contains [gray] squirrel hair, which is uber soft. I will one day treat myself to this $98 brush.
As long as whatever it is has: synthetic bristles that are soft, has a good, firm density to it, and is a bona fide workhorse! Then it’ll be perfect no matter the price or brand name. But no goat hair, and I should probably avoid any other animal hair, seeing what goat hair does to me.
The Marc Jacobs bronzer brush looks amazing. So do the Tom Ford face brushes… and I was on the Hakuhodo site the other day lusting after those (though I’ve never seen them in person so it would be hard to select just one!).
I’m not enough of a brush fanatic to know. I get along fine with my less expensive brushes. I own very few high end. I guess I wouldn’t mind trying Suqqu or Wayne Goss, but I don’t have a particular brush in mind.
I don’t really have any high end ones, and don’t even know what to look for on that end, but probably one of the Japanese-made ones (that I believe are all made by the same craftsmen?) like Suqqu, Chikuhodo, or Hakuhodo.
I like nice cosmetic brushes no doubt – but I definitely don’t need one that costs a few hundred dollars.
I want a really good face powder brush and a blending brush. I am looking at the Real Techniques ones because I have heard so many good things about them.
Cargo HD brush is around $35 and can be bought on the website from Ulta. I have purchased several Mac and other brushes, none which thrill me. I didn’t initially think much of this until a lady at the store showed me that i only had to “touch” the brush to my compact and it picks up enough for half my face. No dragging or stirring to get (or waste) product.. I have had for a few yrs and use daily. No shedding. If I lost mine today, and they were $150, I would still get it. HG for sure.
Aaaaall the Wayne Goss brushes. Well, almost all of them.
This may sound random, but it would probably be something from Sacha Cosmetics, Fashion Fair, or MAC.
Fashion Fair have good products but get no love.
I am currently looking for a really small blending brush for my crease area, sort of like a skinny version of the MAC 224. I’m open to suggestions!
Any hakuhodo brush ???

The last blush I splurged on was the NARS ITA – i finally bit the bullet. Now its a daily staple. Its an absolute no-brainer for contouring!

I purchased the Marc Jacobs #78 Bronzer Brush and it cost $78. Gulp. I use it with my Chanel Soleil Tan (also a gulp worthy splurge) and the two used together produce STUNNING results. I have not once regretted either purchase. Thank you Tiffsny D on you tube for the recommendation.
