Dior Cosmopolite Collection for Fall 2015
Dior Cosmopolite Collection
Manifold and universal, the Dior woman is above all free. Her makeup is a reflection of her wants, her needs and her many facets. For this very woman, Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director for Dior Makeup, has created his first collection of colors. Like a manifesto of freedom for each and every woman, the collection promises plural forms of beauty, a “Cosmopolite” beauty.
Dior Addict Fluid Shadow ($32.00)
The eyes light up with mirror-shine color, highlighted by the innovative Dior Addict Fluid Shadow texture and its magnetic shimmer. Created by Peter Philips, the new-generation eyeshadow gives eyelids the unprecedented, lacquer-like shine of a continuous film of light. A major innovation from Dior research, this lightweight fluid with flawless hold revolutionizes makeup application: applied in a solid block of color over the entire eyelid or along the upper lashes like an eyeliner, Dior Addict Fluid Shadow comes in six precious, metallic shades that light up the eyes with a quick stroke of the brush.

5 Couleurs Cosmopolite Couture Colours & Effects Eyeshadow Palette ($63.00) (Limited Edition)
Under the expert hands of Peter Philips, the iconic 5 Couleurs palette gets a new look for fall as the four letters of DIOR dance across its harmony of brand new colors. The two new limited-edition creations flatter all eyes, whether dark or light, and all types of beauty. Because the Dior woman has many facets – couture or natural, sophisticated or discreet – she can choose between a harmony of brown, beige and gold contrasted with denim blue; or an accord of silver, mauve and burgundy set against a moss green. Whether she opts for a bold or more delicate look with the 5 Couleurs shadows, her eyes are always defined with the Sourcils Poudre pencil. A Dior makeup essential since 1991, it is now decked out in a new cloak of midnight blue. In addition to the four existing shades, two new ash shades are now available for blonde or light brown tones. Inspired by the professional tools of Dior makeup artists, the pencil combines the definition of a wax and the finish of a powder. Its brush tip makes it the accessory no woman can do without for a flawless, harmonious brow line.

That shadow palette with the deep purples and green looks really lovely (actually, so does the other one) but I’ve learned to bide my time with Dior palettes and wait for reviews…. As for the illuminating powder, why can’t they just bring back Amber Diamond?
I love these two eyeshadows palettes! great colors selection! are you gonna have a full review on this collection?
I think I saw the cheek sticks online at Sephora!
I love this post! I’m torn between this and Guerlain Fall colours coming out soon also. Both are very beautiful!
Whyyyy does this collection look soooo good!! Will you be testing the palettes, Christine? I know they’ve performed consistently disappointingly but… the colors look soooo beautiful! Hope springs eternal??
Can’t wait for this collection to arrive in stores. I love the word cosmopolite too, it’s routinely in my vernacular 😀
I’ve given up on Dior shadow kits, but those fluid shadows look very interesting (the purple looks gorgeous), as well as the illuminating powder. Hope you will review!
Cosmopolite Coral is already on my radar!
I like the Illuminating face powder and the looks of the shadow quads. But, I generally don’t buy Dior without a review or test drive-particularly shadows.
I have Versitile which is a beautiful lip color and Avant Garde which I haven’t tried yet and the silver fluid shadow I haven’t tried it yet either but I want all the fluid shadow sticks and lipsticks!!
I like the lipstick and polish colors. The eye colors look beautiful, but quality is a big if. Not that I buy Dior anyway.
Save yourself now Christine… don’t set yourself up for heartache again lol
Do you know if you’ll be reviewing anything from this collection? I’m especially looking forward to the eyeshadow palettes – I’m hoping the formula and pigmentation will be better than they normally are!
Those liquid eyeshadows look interesting. I wonder if they’re liquid to powder or more like liquid eyeliners.
Well another couple of Dior eye shadow palettes and I wonder what the quality is like there – seeing that the last few have been very ordinary. The palette with the green looks like it has two very similar shades, whilst the neutral one has a stunning blue. Hmmm. The colours are very pretty though. The lipsticks look beautiful. I shall wait for any reviews.
This looks like a very promising collection!
I always love the color combinations Dior puts together for eye shadow quints, but I always end up buying dupes because the quality is so rarely there. Hopefully the green and purple one works well, but I’m not holding my breath when two purples are involved.
I hope my Narsicist Duel Intensity pallet can dupe the blue quint!
Those fluid shadows look really fun!
I hear great things about the fluid shadows!
I guess this collection will have me swatching everything and possibly get disappointed by the 5 colour palettes. The fluid eyeshadows looks a bit exciting. I don’t think the lip products are for me, nor are the nail polishes.
Metropolis is on the must buy list for fall polish. Dior polishes are the best!
Seriously hoping, and then hoping some more that these eyeshadow quints are surprisingly great! And lovin’ that dusky green nail polish!
Oh, gorgeous collection!
I’m interesting in liquid lipsticks more! Looking forward to the review on them.
