Becca Wild Honey Mineral Blush Review, Photos, Swatches
Becca Wild Honey Mineral Blush
Becca Wild Honey Mineral Blush ($32.00 for 0.20 oz.) is described as a “peachy nude.” It’s a light-medium, peachy-orange with warm undertones and a hint of brown paired with a pearly sheen. Becca Sweet Pea (P, $32.00) is lighter, warmer. Urban Decay Video (P, $26.00) is less shimmery, darker, cooler. Urban Decay Kinky (P, $26.00) is less shimmery. NARS Craving (Right) (P, ) is darker. MAC Bronzer (LE, $30.00) is less shimmery, darker. Makeup Geek Infatuation (P, $9.99) is less shimmery, darker, cooler. Becca Guava/Moonstone (P, $27.00) is more shimmery, lighter. This shade had semi-opaque to opaque coverage that applied evenly and smoothly with little effort. The texture was soft, finely-milled, and smooth to the touch, which is probably why it blended so nicely! The pearly sheen gave the skin a soft glow without emphasizing pores or the skin’s natural texture, and if you don’t like to see visible shimmer, this might be one to consider as translates it all sheen. This is another shade that may also work as a bronzer for some skin tones, depending on how warm and mid-tone you like yours. When I tested the blush, the color wore well for eight hours before fading.
Formula Summary | Becca Mineral Blush ($32.00 for 0.20 oz.) is supposed to be a “delicate powder blush” with a “buildable formula” that gives a “natural-looking, flushed appearance.” They typically have a soft, creamy consistency that is a little denser than the average powder but not truly dense. Some of the very shimmery shades feel a little dry compared to the more pearly ones. I found the formula to be incredibly easy to apply and blend on the skin without any need for special tricks; they felt very grab-and-go, the kind of blush where there’s no fight to diffuse and soften edges or get even coverage. They are more pigmented than what I’d term as “buildable,” which some will appreciate, some will be disappointed by. The wear ranges from seven to nine hours with the brighter and more satin-to-matte shades lasting longer. My favorite part of the formula is the luminous sheen they give to the skin, so they don’t look too shimmery on the skin. I think if you find Becca’s pressed highlighters to be too shimmery, you may find their blushes more up your alley with respect to finish.

Do you notice that the formula/colour is any different to the old Becca blush? It looks the same to me!
Sorry, I only had one shade from the original release, and it was Damselfly. Sorry!
I’ve heard that the Physician’s Formula bronzer with the swirly wave imprint is a good dupe for this blush, and I keep meaning to try. It’s half the price, and if it’s close… might be worth it?
Could be! I like some of PF’s products.
Pretty. But I’m liking Sweet Pea for my skin tone a little better.
That works for me ;D
it might look a bit too brown on my light-med skin but the’re sure blending so beautiful! by the way between Becca blushes and Laura Geller Gelato blushes, what you will choose? they’re look like have a similar subtle sheen in their blushes.
That is sooo tough!! I think if you want a little more sheen, Laura Geller. If you want more color range, Becca!
Not my color but it’s very pretty. And I like the understated sheen, just enough so it doesn’t look flat as a blush, and it’s subtle enough to use as a bronzer
I could totally see it working as a bronzer for some!
This looks more orange in the swatches than in the pan. Although if its called Honey then its pretty spot on!
Maybe my warm tones are amplifying it? Not sure! It’s always funny how things swatch – I was just using a coppery eyeshadow yesterday and it goes on so much lighter ON then it looks in the pan or even on the brush.
I swatched this in-store yesterday on my very neutral/beige, light skin, and it pulls pretty “orange”.
This looks like a great one for those at NC30 or lighter. Almost like a bronzer with a built-in highlight! But probably wouldn’t show up well on my C4.5 (SF liquid) complexion though…?
It might, but it it may be more of a highlighter on darker skin tones!
Very true! It would!
I think that one is too orange for me!
Aww!
Same here. It’s very pretty, though.
Lovely! Very pretty shade.
It is!
Wild Honey and Damselfly are my two favorite shades from the collection. I like Becca blushes but they’re super pigmented so I always have to remind myself to be careful when I dip the brush :))
They are quite pigmented! I feel like they should be emphasizing that instead of saying buildable, LOL!
What a beautiful finish! Makes me mad that it isn’t my color. lol
Aww!
